I went in again and there was this one lady at the front desk who was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I approached the front desk to request a printout of my contact lens prescription as suggested by Dr. Rubin, she insisted I had to pay for both a contact lens exam and a glasses exam, even though I hadn't requested a glasses exam, and my glasses prescription was still valid from four months ago. I paid, but requested explanations. Despite explaining my insurance coverage and situation, she remained adamant, refusing to listen and even declined to provide my prescription print out, citing distraction from billing inquiries. She then callously added, "You contact your insurance. If nothing else I can help you. You can be out of here." When I suggested Dr. Rubin come out to explain, the lady at the front desk callously retorted, "Dr. Rubin doesn't own the business. It is what it is; you have to pay for two exams." This further added to my disappointment and frustration, as it seemed to dismiss my concerns entirely. Feeling frustrated and disappointed, I requested Dr. Rubin's presence myself, and he and another front desk staff member clarified the billing procedure and explained changes in my insurance policy. Despite this, I still questioned the necessity of double exams, especially given the recent glasses exam. While Dr. Rubin is excellent, the behavior of one team member left me feeling disrespected and dismissed, tarnishing the overall experience.

We spent a good while chatting as she wanted to know my lifestyle. I asked her to bring me some samples of frames that she thought would work for me. She was very attentive and patient as I tried and retried different pairs of glasses. Because she was paying attention during our chat, she remembered everything and found the PERFECT pair of glasses. I actually bought two pairs because I needed glasses for just computer work. I was notified when they were ready and made an appointment to come in and check them out. Again, she spent time with me to perfectly adjust each pair. I couldn't be happier with these glasses. The lenses are of a much higher quality than what you'd get at Lenscrafters, and it's really noticeable in the clarity of the glass. I tend to be a little rough on my glasses, but they have been perfectly fine, and extremely comfortable. I completed all my paperwork online in advance so they had all my insurance information pulled up and ready to go. Before Dr. Hollier brought me back to the exam room, the staff members ensured that everything was cleaned and sanitized. Dr. Hollier and I were both required to wash our hands thoroughly before starting the exam. You can tell they really take COVID protocols seriously - which I appreciate! Dr. Hollier is incredibly knowledgeable, straight forward and patient. She was also very warm and made me feel comfortable right away. She was easy to talk to and addressed all of my concerns immediately. My wife came in with me to have her glasses adjusted, and Dr. Hollier was so thorough that she even addressed a concern I had with my wife's glasses even though she wasn't her patient. I was really impressed. The front desk staff is also very nice and accommodating! The office is very modern, clean and has a great selection of frames. The prices are standard. Parking is easy. We moved to the area right before the pandemic, and have been looking for a good eye doctor. I'm so glad to have found Dr. Hollier, my wife and I will be going to her moving forward!

Who knew that it would be start of a dozen visits in 6 months?! But very pleased that I found Eyes on Norbeck and Dr. AuYeung and his staff. From the first time I called and Raul was able to squeeze me in for an urgent appointment to the most recent call with Raul to go over billing, everyone at Eyes on Norbeck have been kind and knowledgeable. Dr. AuYeung is incredibly thorough. He takes the time to discuss everything and makes sure you've had a chance to ask all your questions. He also knows when to refer to other specialists so that he can get more information to treat issues better. I'll be back to see Dr. AuYeung and his team soon!

I was greeted well, they treated me well, but when it came time to pick the glasses and add the prescription... Well let me just say I am still waiting after a month. I have called several times since 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and have been given the run around, constant apologies and then promised phone calls that never come. For this to become the most expensive pair of glasses in my history of being a mother of 10 children, and purchasing glasses many times, as I expressed today with another phone call to find my almost $400 pair of glasses. Still have to wait until next week to come in to have them sized. I was told more than 2 weeks ago that they were there and I would receive a call to come in and meet the dr. To measure them on me. Yet I received many excuses for the time lapse, no communication, no returned calls and futhermore no glasses.
