Let me begin by saying: I have worked as a free lance makeup artist for Estee Lauder and am THE PICKIEST PERSON EVER. Everything from the skincare before application to the final spritz was what dreams are made of when it came to working with Renee and Ishah. Every product was high end and their technique was impeccable. They listen to what you say and intuitively also know how to work with different face types, skin textures, and skin tones. My hair usually ends up frizzy but their expertise with hair styling was very apparent as not a hair went out of place. Do not hesitate to order extensions through them if you want to take it to the next level as they provide them at a discounted price than if you went out to get extensions on your own. I loved their work on Instagram and knew an Indian bride they had previously worked with (she absolutely loved them as well). There are not enough words to convey how incredible the Ishnae & Co. team is! From the very beginning, they were extremely kind & professional--Sonya from Ishnae was great at fast communication through email & phone calls, worked with my budget, thoroughly explained to me all the services they offered and how the entire process of bridal trial + hair extensions (if that was an option I'd be interested in) up until the wedding weekend would work. From booking until the final event of my 3 day wedding weekend, everything went exactly as planned! No hidden fees, no surprises whatsoever. My bridal hair and makeup trial was done by Ishshah & Renee, who are true professionals and artists! They were incredibly punctual, and used the trial to not only give me the exact look I described, but to get to know me and my style so they could better grasp my comfort level with different hair and makeup looks before my wedding weekend. During my wedding weekend, Ishshah, Renee, and the entire team were SO punctual! They arrived well before the scheduled time so they could get their equipment organized and so that we'd have some buffer time and no one's makeup/hair would need to be rushed. They saw my outfit and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone for my first look (without being pushy at all), and I am so glad I trusted them! They made me look and feel like a princess all weekend long! I've never felt so beautiful! Each look was different and unique, and I feel like they were made just for me based on my outfit, the inspiration pictures I had, and my conversations with them about my style. My mother is more conservative and simple, and they made her look radiant with just enough makeup to make her still feel natural but look glamorous! My bridal dupatta was extremely heavy, and i had concerns that my hair wouldn't be able to hold it...the dupatta stayed on perfectly all day long! There were a few events where, unfortunately, my family was running late and Ishnae's team was so patient with us and handled our tardiness with grace. They still managed to get everyone that needed hair and makeup done in time, without it feeling rushed whatsoever. A big part of the team was there for the wedding morning when I had 12 individuals all getting hair and makeup, and several of them getting tikka settings. EVERYONE loved their finished looks, and each Ishnae team member was incredibly sweet, professional, and efficient. For those that had concerns about their looks, the artists modified the look so that each person was 100 % happy and confident with their look! One of my bridesmaids had gotten their hair done for the wedding and a few bobby pins had come out by the time I was getting ready for the reception; one of the artists offered to fix her hair because it was a quick fix, even though we hadn't mentioned anything about it to anyone.
