The best Steak and Cheese EVER!!
    Ashanti S.

When I say that this place serves good food I really really do mean it. Not only is the food good but also service is excellent. My food was ready in a decent amount of time for a food truck which some people seem to forget that a food truck usually has 1 to 2 people working on it. So to get your food in a reasonable amount of time is good with one person working and taking orders. This was my second time trying this place. The first time is the reason why I came back. I had breakfast and it taste just like I finished cooking it myself. This time I got the steak and cheese with Everything, and the Cook actually found some jalapenos for me! That made my day. Now once I received my food and looked at it, I couldn't wait to dig in. It looked, smelled and taste sooooo good. Everything was perfect. The fries with Old Bay is just your typical fries with seasoning but complimented my sandwich and was still good on their own. I have to be honest. I really like this place, they seem and look clean. Everyone is very professional, but most of all the food was fantastic!!! Don't go to the carryout or Subway Go to I'se Da Bye!! No more McDonald's for breakfast!!

Photo doesn't do it justice.Chicken Cheese steak with everything in it (grilled onions, probably too much mayo imo)

The food was good. The people were very nice. The time to get the food...Different story. Would I go back? Maybe. Would I recommend? Probably not. And that's the bottom line.

Yum! Friendly staff, quick service, tasty food! Just know that is a truck so you'll need to take it to go or eat in your car.

Great food. Obviously a staple in the local area. Recommend cheesesteak egg bowl. Great flavor and filling.

Including The Naughty Gull, Solomon's Pier, Harbor Lights and The Lighthouse. We have had a lot of "good" and "not so good" meals over the years. But for the last several years we have been opting for The Island Hideaway. Every time has been truly exceptional!! Service, food and atmosphere!! Easter brunch today was no different! We stopped by while we were in the area to have a late lunch - we ordered: +the Seafood Cannelloni - stuffed with shrimp, crab, and ricotta in a housemade pasta, baked, and topped with a choice of cabernet marinara or Parm alfredo sauce; you can also do half and half!; this was actually a pretty okay dish, with the sauces being thick and creamy; the best part, however, as the side of garlic bread that was super garlicky and had a nice crisp to it - amazing when dipping in the sauce! The cannelloni itself was okay, but the seafood filling was a bit overcooked, making both the shrimp bits and the crab rubbery +the Crab Cake Dinner - you can choose 1 or 2 5oz crabcakes; served with a choice of 2 sides; we went for the House Salad and the Skinny Fries; the salad that was served had old/wrinkled tomatoes; just couldn't see why a restaurant would serve something like that to its patrons; we were excited for the crabcakes, but they were less than mediocre; the hot sauce that they had was not a good complement at all; fries were not seasoned at all and forgettable Service was fine, and the place is dim-lit and slightly cramped - if you're sitting at one of the tables set in an angular way, you're bound to be constantly bumped into by the passing service staff and patrons. The chipped beef on toast was outstanding - - they actually put some of it between the two slices and stack the toast up. The potatoes were very tasty. But you're out of pancakes... what would someone do if they wanted to order that and you are out of pancakes... just get the combo without pancakes? Or just 86 the combo off the menu? Okay well how about we take 3$ off the price of the combo since you are out of pancakes and we'll just order a side of toast for 1.50 so you lose almost two dollars on that meal????! So then I order an omelette which comes with one choice of meat and three additional toppings and asked if we could put the sausage on the side instead of in the omelette to which again she replied 'chef' does not like changes to the meals. So I said, that's fine I'll just pick it out. When it comes out, all it is, is two sausage patties whole (see pic) laid in the omelet and folded over... well, I guess it just made it easier to pick out. I'm still confused... Other than that, the kids working we're sweet. Just not really nonsensical. The meal was decent and I cannot say that I would not go back. But, kind of primarily because it's the only breakfast gig in town.

The Brussels sprout with hoisin sauce wasn't the best combination. It was too salty and I already have asked for less sauce. The meat lovers pizza crust was too soft. Decent beer selection.

Immediately greeted upon entry and chose the dining room and maybe had 3 other couples at the same time. Cole was our server and they were fantastic! Attentive and never let the beer get empty and was willing to suggest substitutions or modifications with ease and expertise! We had the crab dip to start and honestly I'd give it a 3.2/5. Definitely had a crab flavor but it had much more cheese than meat. Wifey ordered the Brussels sprouts and old bay wings as her meal and I went with the prime dip with bacon and duck fat fries. Brussels weren't hoisin like on menu but left dry with a balsamic sauce on the side! Crunchy and flavorful! 4.4/5! Wings were perfectly seasoned and huge! Perfectly crispy and delicious. 4.7/5! As for the Prime Dip! Sooo much cheese. Must have a Green Bay Packer fan in the kitchen or something but hot damn. Prime rib was flavorful. Bacon was a genius addition by yours truly. Would order again. 4.89/5. Would love a seeded hoagie roll with this. Love this old watering hole. Irish Stout was a banger and Rud Light never fails! Will return!! 4.85/5!!!!
