I've made several land trips to CamSur over the years, by bus or by van. But to date, my favorite mode is on board Isarog Line's sleeper bus. The eight-hour trip from Cubao to Naga turned out to be no pain at all as my friends and I were asleep through it all.
A "sleeper bus" is one with double-decker bunk beds instead of seats. If I remember correctly, each bus can only hold 19 passengers. Each bunk bed has its own light, curtain for privacy, and power outlet. It's also fitted with a seat bet so you can strap yourself in and securely. You need not worry about falling off your bed through the bus's twists and turns on the road.
The bus also has its own comfort room. Now that's convenience on the go.
If you're planning to go to Bicol to wakeboard at the CamSur Watersports Complex, swim at Caramoan, or simply experience the warmth, hospitality, and food (!) of the Bicolanos, this is a great way to travel.
By the way, I've also tried Isarog Line's Lazy Boy buses, but even those were hard on the back, butt, and legs after the long trip. read more
