Grilled Octopus main on fingerling potatoes
Elle G.

Lovely ambiance. Right on the lakefront on the 2nd floor of the Pearle Hotel. Wonderful service (shout out to our server Shannon). We shared the Ahi Tuna Ceviche and then hubby had the octopus and I had the trout. Good selection of wines (well represented Ontario wines) but the spritz was a great cocktail. Definitely $$$-$$$$ per person. Excellent quality and presentation.

Outside of the hotel in the parking lot where we parked. Not part of hotel property!

**3.5 star review** I came here for a bridal shower. It's a lovely restaurant inside of the Pearle Hotel. I parked at the lot directly across from the hotel assuming it was their lot but then I found out afterwards that it didn't even belong to the hotel..and the hotel staffs mentioned that they would've given free valet parking for their guest. I wish I had knew about this earlier so I didn't have to pay for parking?? The restaurant is brightly lit and overlooked the harbour. It was beautiful. They have coat check available for free. Service was amazing..they were nice an attentive. I was seated upstairs and that room was completely booked off for the bridal party. They had alcoholic and non-alcoholic mimosas, coffee, latte, and tea included in the package. The food was unfortunately my least favourite part. The salad was a generous portion but lacked flavour. The parfait was okay, but would've preferred more purée or fruits. The avocado toast was a bit soggy and I didn't like the beets. The poached egg on top was perfect and the potatoes were tasty. The banana bread French toast -- I didn't try but my cousin said it was way too sweet since they drenched everything in syrup. The quiche I think was the fan favourite among the other guest...I think I should've chose that instead. The sorbet was huge. They had so many flavours to choose from I actually couldn't decide on what I wanted but then they gave me the wrong one. I asked for berry but they gave me blueberry ginger...I enjoyed it a lot though! The lemon lime was my second favourite. Overall the food was alright..I think I would've enjoyed it more if I chose my own food rather than to pick from the selection that they gave me.

This restaurant is gorgeous. The view is gorgeous. I'm sure when their outdoor seating opens, that is gorgeous too. The staff was so friendly and polite. We had a baby with us and our waitress was great at asking about our boundaries regarding the baby. She was friendly to the kids as well, and knew a lot about the menu. The food was good. The menu isn't large and there were things missing you might have expected them to have - I.e. they had lobster eggs benefit and eggs florentine but no classic Benny. What they do make, it's done well. Nothing particularly stood out as amazing though the banana bread French toast was a touch on the unique side which made it the best order at the table. All of that said if I'm being honest, I just don't think the food is worth the cost. I really wanted to love it because the vibes and service are on point. And even the offerings were nice but it just seemed a lot for what we got.

We were staying at the hotel and had come down a couple of times of breakfast. It is in the first level above the lobby easily accessible by the circular stairs. A pretty new restaurant after the opening of the Pearle Hotel & Spa - this place is top notch for customer service and also some of the best Mediterranean food!! The seating area is quite serene. Each setting is a set of gold cutlery and a beautiful water glass. We had the Isabelle breakfast, the Grilled Bacon and the Yogurt Pancakes. The grilled potato with the fall fruit sauce was the perfect marriage to the bacon and sourdough. We ate everything except the plate. Extremely unique menu with a beautiful ambiance - what more could you ask for on a Christmas morning?

If you're in Burlington, you'll want to check out Isabelle. I would say they're a crossover between coastal (Mediterranean, Californian), fusion cuisine and locally sourced ingredients, so expect surprise, fresh and delicious. By chance we ordered two dishes both with chili oil, it definitely adds a nice kick to the seafood dishes, but you can still taste the other flavours. The risotto was very "corny" and lighter compared to the traditional risotto. And the dessert looked like a piece of art! The restaurant has a nice view of the waters, overall food presentation and taste are good, and really attentive service. They weren't too busy when we visited, but be sure to make a reservation first @opentableca

Lovely Patio with Lake View! This restaurant is inside The Pearle Hotel in Burlington so we decided to stop by and check it out! Staff were super friendly and seated us immediately, but took them awhile to give us the menu but other than that, the food was great & we loved the middle eastern style in their dishes. We only came here for brunch and their mushroom toast was very rich & impressive, not too many items to pick for brunch, but would love to come back for dinner!

Wonderful restaurant in Hamilton. Recently opened. It has a huge patio and lots of seating inside as well. Food wise I believe their menu rotates. I tried 4 dish and the lamb Ragu was the best followed by a deboned monk fish I believe. Lots of pay parking around and entrance is in the hotel.

Nice table setting

This restaurant is amazing! My partner and I go a few times a month. The food is amazing! The ambiance is ever better - the decor inside and the water view outside is breathtaking! The service overall is great and they are very accommodating. My only criticism is that they don't have many (really just one) vegan option. Also - they're brunch is AMAZING and they don't advertise as a brunch spot enough! I HIGHLY recommend their brunch!

Mostly came for the view but was pretty impressed with the food. I've heard a lot of mixed things about the service, it was sometimes slow but our server was actually really pleasant. We sat out on the patio and the table was a bit wiggly. For starters we got the labneh dip with two pita's - this was definitely the best thing we tried, the pita itself is worth ordering. We also got the prawns and it's quite expensive for the amount you get, you could probably pass on these. For mains we got the salmon and short rib. The short rib was very good and the salmon was pretty good too. If you are coming in for a full meal, you should expect it's going to cost a lot. I would probably recommend just coming for a few small dishes (mainly the dip).

Having been back here close to a dozen times over the last decade, I can firmly say this place is the perfect combination of gastro-ingenuity and traditional staples done right. The vibe is "industrial chic," which is essentially code for "I'm feeling something fancy, but still want to be able to visit in my Kirkland shorts." The food has a heavy focus on local ingredients, with flavors that are incredibly tight and well-balanced. The steak frites are so tender I'm pretty sure they were cut with a polite suggestion rather than a knife. The scallops are meaty and perfectly cooked. And of course the burger is absolutely mouthwatering and make it the tempting default option during each visit. The appetizers are all fantastic, Kat and the Korean cauliflower takes the cake! For desert, their house cheesecake is phenomenal, and their in house amber ale is full and flavourful. Our server was on the ball; the water was never empty, and the check ins were always at the right time. Verdict: 10/10. If you want western food with a fun twist and high quality ingredients, this is one spot you must check out!

The service was great, our server gave us a free latte because their coffee machine took forever to work. I got a hazelnut old fashion and it tasted amazing. I would recommend this place!

We arrived on a Friday morning about 9:30 and the restaurant got considerably more busy shortly after. We were greeted by the sweetest staff member explaining to us the different pastries like the inside out cinnamon bun with a cream cheese center. She was patient and so friendly! We sat to order our breakfast along with some of the pastries for dessert. The smoked salmon Benedict was perfectly cooked and spectacular! Those frites that accompanied them were equally delicious. My friend ordered the croissant sandwich with salmon, cream cheese, and cranberries. For dessert we had the coconut cream tart which reminded me of a coconut cream pie elevated to a decadent tart. We also had an almond croissant that was so crispy and delicious that I had to order another one to go. My cappuccino was perfectly prepared. The food here is amazing and the service is equally exceptional. Our server checked on us often and was a delight! I can't say enough about this place that would do it justice. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Toronto.

The restaurant was busy, but we managed to get a table. I had the eggs Benedict with spinach, while my partner had the same with bacon. We ordered medium poached eggs, but one plate came out harder than expected. Service was good, although a bit confusing that you can order and pay online while in restaurant, or have traditional service from staff. Previously, we tried their almond croissant and other desserts, and they were fabulous! Will definitely return and try other dishes.

We ordered the Simon Says with a side of Breakfast Poutine, Chicken & Waffle, Double Americano and Caramel Cappuccino. (a) Simon Says - Bacon, ham and sausage mix omelette with 3 cheese blend, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and fine herb mayonnaise. It was served on a soft brioche bun. The fine herb mayonnaise created a creamy balance with the 3 cheese blend which complemented the bacon, ham and sausage mix omelette very well. The breakfast poutine is a must try. (b) Chicken & Waffle - Crispy Chicken Breast with BBQ sauce served with waffles and pur & simple potatoes. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well. The waffles were buttery and soft. Their pur & simple potatoes had a crispy crust which was great. I was quite disappointed with the portion as there was only one piece of chicken breast in this dish. The chicken was definitely not enough as I only got to eat with barely 1/2 of the serving of the waffles. It was 80% carbohydrates and 20% protein. Overall, the dishes were delicious. I'd love to come back and try their other breakfast dishes.

They even asked the sous chef to make sure the presentation was excellent; he didn't disappoint. Their menu changes seasonally. I ordered the following: 1. Coke ($). 2. Tempura Shrimp ($27). 3. Crispy Duck Leg Confit & Breast ($46). 4. Saskatoon Berry Cheesecake ($14). The Tempura Shrimp were tiger shrimp and were so plump, each about 1 inch diameter at the widest end! They were de-shelled and tempura battered. There were orange slices (orange), avocado slices (green), and chili slices (red), making the dish colourful. The Crispy Duck came with a leg and sliced breast portions. Accompanying them were tamarillo, sunchoke puree, bordelaise, dried kale chips, berry gastrique, and chopped candied pecans. All the ingredients worked well together, with mixtures of savoury and sweet tastes. The Cheesecake was amazing. The cheesecake itself was an upside-down half sphere. It was soft; I prefer that over the typical firm cake. There were miniature dried berries on top, along with a ruby chocolate sauce, and a sliced of dried red beet. Surrounding it was a soft marshmallow meringue which was lightly torched. The colour theme was red and white with a touch of dark blue. Daimon, the sous chef, plated everything expertly for me. There is plenty of indoor seating, of which one side has a view of the lake. There is lively music playing in the background. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms. There is free street parking on weekends on a street running north of the restaurant. There is also a paid parking lot next to the restaurant. At the recommendation of the service staff, I ordered the Crab Cake Egg Benedict (lemon aïoli, boston lettuce, chive hollandaise), served for weekend brunch only. Similar to my previous meals here, the food had subtle layers of flavour that came together nicely with every bite. I tend to gravitate to food that I can't get at other restaurants. The server informed us that the meal was not served on brioche like the other Egg Benedict's, but I was still full with the side salad (yeh, no arugula). My husband ordered the side fries so his belly was full. There were two crab cakes with eggs, and plenty of crab inside. I was glad that I didn't taste fillers. Service was good and we sat at a table with a waterfront view. The Sloane tea and beverages were a pricey and small for what they were, hence one of the reasons I don't come here as frequently. Overall, I enjoy the food here.
