I have been using towing services for my collection of vehicles for over 30 years. Never have I encountered a tow driver and business owner like Kanno. Professionalism and service above and beyond any expectations. He worked with me for several days before a complex cross-border tow and made 100% sure that we would have zero delays with Mexican authorities. He showed up on time and communicated flawlessly around the clock. I can make no higher recommendation for a towing service for the USA or Baja California, Mexico. I would give them 10 stars if allowed! read more

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Isabel Towing. My mom was hit across the border which left her vehicle undriveable. She asked for my help in finding a tow truck that could tow her vehicle back into the US. I immediately went on Google and found Isabel Towing. I called and Kanno was very helpful in answering all my questions. He dispatched the same day and was there within a couple of hours. Crossing the border back was a mess and the border wait time was long. Kanno maintained a professional attitude and helped my mom remain calm during the entire process. Would I recommend Isabel Towing to anyone in need? Absolutely they are professional, prompt, and provide excellent service. read more

I called Isabel Towing and they were willing to give me a hand. They arrived in timely fashion and the experienced driver asured me that everything was going to go smoothly! Sure enough we crossed the border into the US and took us to our destination without any issues! They were my lifesavers that evening! read more

Isabel Towing - Towing Near Me - San Diego, California

Isabel Towing was a godsend when my car was disabled in Valle de Guadalupe, MX on a Sunday. Isabel dispatched a driver within a few hours, he crossed the border to come get us, picked us up, explained the process, and we started our journey back to San Diego. It took a significant amount of time but our driver was patient and kind. Would definitely recommend them to anyone! TIP: if your car is in an accident and you have insurance, make sure you have an adjuster come out before you leave MX! Edit: I used Isabel a second time when my car turned out to be totaled. They arrived as scheduled at a dealership in San Diego ready to pick up the car and take me to Tijuana to turn over my vehicle to the insurance agency. Unfortunately, I did not have the correct paperwork in order. The driver was (again - just like last time) so patient and kind with me. I was unable to get the paperwork and had to reschedule. The customer service was beyond amazing - they helped me through the whole process and we rescheduled for another day. When I was finally able to tow back to MX, the process was seamless. The driver explained everything and I felt safe 100% of the time. As a woman traveling alone to complete this process, that was amazing and a relief! read more

BEWARE!! Predatory tow company. I called for a winch out and provided pictures and location as requested. The driver said it would cost no more than $300. During the service, the tow truck driver never stated the price was going to be different then what he quoted me for. After the completion of the winch out, he said that cost $800. I said you told me $300. He stated he talked to another person and they said he should charge $800. He said I will charge $550. I stated that's far above what we spoke about it. He stated "Im not ripping you off just because you have a Tesla. I have an $80,000 car." Totally rip off. The drivers name is Canno. DO NOT recommend this company. read more

My car broke down in Tijuana. I was stressing about the possibility of having to leave it overnight. I was referred to Isabel Towing by a Mexican towing company who was unable to tow me due to the pandemic. Cano immediately answered the phone and was willing to work with my insurance company to schedule the towing within a couple of hours. His knowledge of all the legal requirements for towing was impressive. He is a good natured professional who made the whole process easy and efficient. He took all the covid safety precautions, including wearing a mask and providing hand sanitizer. I would highly recommend his service to anyone needing a tow to/from Mexico or in the US. Thank you Cano and Isabel Towing for your excellent service! read more

No need to look any further, call Isabel Towing now. You won't find better service. I am EXTREMELY impressed and satisfied with this professional towing service. Their confidence, fast response time and absolute attention to my emergency was both calming and reassuring. My first trip back into Tijuana in almost 9 years and what happens? My car breaks down...YIKES! They drove me back into TJ, loaded up my car in record time and got me through the border in a few hours on a Sunday evening. No problems at all. Job well done! I admit I was panicked and nervous about riding alone with them, also feeling super nervous about the car repair costs I would face. However, the drivers Cano and Willy, kept me calm and comfortable, offering up great conversation and were so caring about my situation. If I am ever in need again and have to ride with two absolute strangers in the cab of a tow truck (for a few hours across the border)in 90 degree heat, I hope I am as lucky as I was with these two respectful, professional and pleasant gentlemen. Thank you so, so much for getting me and my car home with such care and safety! You made what I thought was a terrible situation seem like it was just another easy, peasy day at the office. Piece of cake for these guys! read more

My boyfriend's car isn't able to run due to an engine problem. We needed it towed to Meineke which was literally a few miles from where it was parked. I called the referred tow service by Meineke and they quoted me $65. Not bad but I decided to call around and see if I can get a better deal. I called Isabel towing second (they popped up on Google first) and they quoted me$50. Not bad. Then I called 10 other shops who were $10- $50 more than Isabel towing. Decided to go with Isabel's towing based on the cost and good reviews online. Scheduled the tow yesterday for this morning. They showed up on time and although the car doesnt start and with some difficulty, managed to get the car to thr shop. Thanks guys I will definitely keep you in mind for future towing service if needed. Best price around!!! read more

My partner and I used Isabel Towing yesterday. We were in a bit of a bind (well, I guess most people in need of a tow are!). We had them tow us from the MX border into San Diego only to find out AAA wouldn't cover from there to get our vehicle back to Ventura County :( Kanno was gracious and patient and very helpful in getting our vehicle home, all quickly and for a reasonable fee under the circumstances. This is the kind of service one needs from a towing company. If I need a tow in the San Diego area again I will definitely call Isabel Towing! read more

After calling several other towing companies near me, this one picked up and responded quickly. I gave them basic info and told them where I'd be, within 15 minutes they were there. My car was so close to the sidewalk it looked impossible to get onto the truck but they didn't give up. After a bit of time (I was in no hurry) they got it up and to the shop real quick. Very inexpensive also, $10 for the inconvenience of the car being so near to the sidewalk but that's understandable, so all in all this place is great. read more

Isabel and the staff are very friendly, efficient and have very good prices. They were very professional and reliable. I ended up practically becoming good friends with my tow truck driver. We just had a car towed 37 miles, from San Diego to Ramona, and Isabel Towing not only gave topnotch service, they came in at a price less than half what others companies were going to charge. What a great experience after suffering a car breakdown in Ensenada. Nervous to hire a less expensive, mexico-based alternative, we opted to spend slightly more for a more reputable company. Our driver, Cano was an absolute gem. He was on time, lovely to work with and allowed my husband and I to get a ride over the border along with our car. He even offered to stop at 7-11 so we could get a drink. I hardly write reviews but this company went above and beyond and really came through for us. read more

Myself, my husband and my 9 month son were on the eastbound i-8 near pine valley on 2/14/15 around 2pm when we saw a tow truck merge back onto the freeway and recklessly turned perpendicular to cross over all lanes to the west side of the 8. We were forced to lock brakes up to avoid collision and had another car behind us that had to swerve to get out of the way. Careless and reckless. This isabel towing driver should lose his license asap! Should be a no star rating! read more

My kids broke down in Mexico on Sunday afternoon and no one I called would help south of the border. Then I remembered a company that helped me and my husband several years before. I kept the card just in case. I'm glad I did! Armando went out of his way to ensure my kids safe arrival over the border and took charge like he as a member of the family. I can't say enough good things about this s man and this company. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you thank you thank you!! read more
