What a great big fun place. Three floors of antiques collectables and crafts. Great soaps too!

This place has a great deal of antiques neatly on display and it features a lot of great stuff I was primarily looking for cool outdoor items for display while my wife was looking for cool kitchenware that was nostalgic. This place has decent finds at decent prices as well overall it was a really casual antique store experience but it does offer the most compared to other antique stores in this area

There was a variety of antiques packed into one store and I was in heaven. I came to Wisconsin on a girls weekend to get out of the city. My roommate, a Baraboo native, always comes back from home with cool furniture or jewelry that she finds in Baraboo antique stores so I was excited to try and find my own treasures. Our first stop in Baraboo's quite happening antique scene was Oak Street Antiques and Yarn Nook. We met up with my roommate's mom who was checking out as we walked in, but I was immediately distracted by a trunk full of wrapped presents. They were all $2 and labeled with the age range that the item inside would be appropriate for. I stood there for a good 5 minutes talking myself out of purchasing an armload full of them because I love a bargain and a surprise. After I got over my irrational urge to buy all the surprises, I started to look around the store. I really liked the layout and flow of the store. There were items everywhere, but I never felt overwhelmed and there was always room for 2+ people to move about. The front right corner of the store is the "yarn nook" section where you can buy all types of yarn and accessories and in the back left corner, there were a few ladies sitting around a large table and knitting. The back right corner has a room full of clothes, from old fur coats to shoes, to purses. The remainder of the store is full of items from postcards, cast iron, jewelry, books, boy scout uniforms, sleds, furniture, and tons of other unique items. There were quite a few items that piqued my interest but I had to resist as they were not practical purchases. I can't wait for my next trip to Baraboo to check out the new inventory at Oak Street Antiques!

I used to really love this place. I've been here many many many times, even as a kid. At one time,…read moreit had two floors filled to the brim with quality MCM furniture and items with reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the last time I came here, it was pretty disappointing. They closed the top floor so it's now pretty limited and the "reasonable prices" have certainly fallen off. The woman at the front desk seemed less than thrilled that I was there and seemed rather annoyed at me and my friend. I bought an item for $18. She rang it up, after fees, it came out to $19.47. She then told me that "I better go find another item" because there's a $20 minimum for credit card purchases. Really? She couldn't make an exception for the $.53 I was off by? I told her to just add the difference and charge my credit card an even $20. She then proceeded to charge me $21.10 for some reason. Glad you got $3 and evaded the $.03 credit card fee but you lost a customer for life. Sigh.

This mall has a large parking lot across the street, which wasn't packed on the Sunday afternoon…read morethat we went. But I can imagine it would be an issue for the winter times. The mall was accessible for wheelchairs for entrances and getting to the second floor with an easily accessed elevator. But the aisles and the space within the booths can be pretty narrow. Making accessibility kinda hard in certain areas. I was a tad nervous just walking in certain tight spaces. This place was a mix of vintage items, Victorian era, limited primitive selection. Upstairs has a great MCM glass vendor. Also a large section for vintage clothing. We were given a low down from the guys at Watertown that some of the vendors from Odana went to Waterloo. Which makes sense. The first floor side room screams Odana vendors, especially the prices.
