Hands down, Atomic Antiques is a GREAT antique shop! In fact, it is undoubtedly the best antique shop in the area. It really has no equal. The moment you walk into this business you are surrounded by some of the greatest pieces of art, furniture, knickknacks, music, vintage items, memorabilia, clothing, pretty much anything you can think of, they've got some example of it -- all from a time gone past. It's really an adventure to shop here. This is a very large business. It can really take you quite a while to go up and down all of the aisles, examining all of the pieces they have available. It's really a nice adventure. I can't say enough about this shop. It's really great! This store is a collection of multiple dealers with a varied time period of items. I came here mistakenly thinking it was just 1950s items . ( I have a 1950s kit home I am looking to furnish). I didn't find a lot of 1950s items, except for some kitchen tables which were a little over priced compared to buying it from a homeowner, but If you're looking for varied eras, this is a good place to go. Worth a stop! The store had a little bit of everything while I was there: vintage clothing, lighting, dishes, jewelry, signs, furniture, rock t shirts, books, art...even a merry go round horse. The merchandise spans several eras, and the booths were all occupied and well organized. I didn't find anything I had to buy, but I would definitely come back and browse again. read more

I previously said this mall was the best in 50 miles. Now I would say it's world class, probably the best antique mall I have ever been in. Really reflects a love of the past and how many people lived. A wonderful experience to be in it, even better to buy something. read more

Atomic is a hard one to rate. Merchandise - 5 stars without a doubt. Tons of gorgeous MCM furniture and all the owls, clown paintings and tiki bar wear a hipster heart could desire. Seriously, a ton of great things on hand here if it's your style. Store - 4 stars. It's BIG! And clean and well organized! The actual layout is a bit of a maze though, so pay attention so you don't miss anything. Prices - 1 star. Seriously out of order. I'm not talking about furniture because quality pieces should cost. I'm talking about a single vintage pine cone Xmas ornament for $36. A ceramic tree that's completely average (and normally sells for $100-150) tagged at $350. A Gettleman metal tray in fair condition well north of $100. Ya'll crazy - these aren't even Chicago prices, these are Manhattan prices. If you're willing to seriously shell out for a treasure, you won't be disappointed in the quality and breadth of offering here. read more

This is the biggest and cleanest antique mall I've ever visited and a great experience as a shopper. The selection is outstanding and displays are very well curated and organized. The staff are awesome -- the super fashionable gal who works the counter (Nicole?) is always the best person to chat with at checkout. The mall itself has some varying pricing -- I would say some things are moderate/market, but mostly prices are high for in-person antiquing. They are more "online prices" or include a bidders premium vs. the "dig and save" model of antique and thrift shops. That being said, I do recommend visiting here. There are some incredible pieces. The lamp selection and furniture is unbeatable in this town. Also -- so many giant swordfish! read more

This is a great new antique mall next to the Home Depot. There are many stalls and a lot of super cool antiques. There is lots of furniture, golf clubs, decanters, china, tools, a little bit of everything really. I bought an old bamboo fly rod. The prices look reasonable and I assume the inventory turns over fairly often. I hear one woman say that they "have everything my parents got rid of". True statement. There were lots of things I used to have as a kid too. If you like antiques, spend some time here. The staff is super friendly and it's local family owned! read more

I could easily spend an entire day at this lovely antique store. All the booths are so well organized, and well kept. They feature an incredible variety of antique items from purses to furniture to mirrors to neat knickknacks. You really can find it all at a time atomic antiques. Additionally the staff are incredibly friendly and they offer free coffee while you browse! read more

I saw an article in the paper that this place opened recently and I wanted to shop here (seems like I remember a place with a similar name in town years ago) . My sister and nephew went here looking for mid-century modern furniture and gave it a big thumbs up. We were going to HD next store and then popped in. We spent a long time wandering the aisles and all the booths. Maybe because it is new it is less cluttered and feels better curated than many antique "malls". Perhaps the range of items is narrower or not as old. It was a lot of fun to explore. Definitely worth a stop. read more

This is by far my favorite antique mall in the Madison area to venture through. The booths are well curated and organized - it almost feels like you're walking through a museum! They have many different types and styles of items, which makes it even more fun to look through. My only reason for a four star review is that I found the pricing to be higher than others in the area. Don't let that deter you though! This place is a must visit. read more

A trip to the past comes alive, and 3-D is here in this delightful, well-organized expanse of delights. My memory cells were awakened as I saw the first blocks I had as an 18-month-old. A mid-century modern dream! Such a cool spot and cannot believe I never knew about it when I live just a few minutes away. Worth a visit to walk around and be amazed at all the collected items.
