I've been coming here for a few years now. I'm extremely phobic when it comes to anything dealing with dentists, but im lucky because I found my forever dentist. Even if I moved a few hours away, I'd still come here. There is no way I'd chance losing this team's expertise and help. She helped calm my nerves, mentally and physically before my first intense procedure/s a couple years ago. I've had problems all my life with the teeth god gave me, and I've had so many painful nightmarish experiences elsewhere. Today I'm back for routine check-ups, and with my problem teeth, there will be more to fix again. I highly recommend this place awesome place. I was in severe pain and decided to call them on Sunday as an emergency/urgent appointment and they told me to go in within the next hour on the same day (beyond grateful). They prescribed me antibiotics and pain medication. First time here and everyone was so nice and welcoming, they made sure I understood every step and explained in detail. My husband needed to desperately get work done and couldn't take time off to take care of it. I found Irwindale Dental on Yelp and we decided to give them a try. By the way my husband hates hates hates the Dentist. He had an exam and x-rays done. The level of attention and concern for his comfort was awesome. Had a dental emergency today and luckily found this place through Google. It was open on a Sunday! And they took my daughter in with no issue. The front office/dental assistant was so sweet and kind with my daughter and the dentist was also fantastic. They were able to work with me even though my insurance did not cover this office. They really made a scary and stressful experience into something easy. Highly recommended!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Wish I could make them my regular dentist!! read more

I woke up on a Sunday with swollen gums and I was so scared, this was the only office near me that was open, I called and they told me to come in, they took very good care of me, the dentist is very patient, I don't like dentists but somehow I feel very very comfortable here, if I need a break during a procedure they'll stop and let you take your time before going back to work. Love love this place!!! I'm now taking my 4 boys there as well. OH MY GOD. If you have been searching for a reliable, hard working dentist who actually loves their job and helping their patients.... LOOK NO FURTHER because Dr. Pleyto and her staff Melissa and Guy are the best ever!! I've gone to a handful of different dentist and have spent more time doing X-rays than actually getting my teeth worked on because of the bad experiences I've had. When I walked in here for my first visit, I had no expectations because the last dentist I went to in Glendora pretty much tore my soul out and made me feel empty and hollow inside. She was such a bitch. HOWEVER, as soon as I met Dr. Pleyto she was like an angel! She introduced herself and was extremely professional and made sure that all your needs are met. The best part? SHE ALSO DOES BRACES!! If you can't afford things such as root canal or deep cleaning, she will work with your budget and will not charge you an arm and a leg. She understands insurances for working families such as denti-cal and hates to see her patients leave her office without having something they truly need not be worked on. I went to her on 03/04 for a 2:00PM appointment. We spoke and her assistant Melissa did my X rays. Her and Dr are so funny and will make you laugh. I had so many cavities and the Dr filled six of them in one visit. She was in no hurry and did not rush with my appointment even though it's caused her to fall behind on her next ones. She took her time and was so careful with my teeth. She gave me two shots of numbing medicine for my gums to make sure I didn't feel anything! Her office was so clean and high-tech and I didn't even want to leave. I really felt great and happy with her care. By the time I finished six fillings it was 4:30pm I already made a second appointment to see her again. She needs more reviews because she deserves it. My gum was swollen and hurting me to the point where I couldn't even eat anymore. I already had a dentist appointment scheduled somewhere else but it was a week away and I knew I wouldn't be able to handle this pain for that long. It was Sunday and I knew not many dentist offices would be open but I saw this one was and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. I really appreciate Melissa's patience with me from sorting out my insurance to getting me in as a last minute appointment. I also met Dr. Pleyto who was really sweet and was able to fix my problem. They were closed at 4 pm but Dr. Pleyto and her staff extended their hours just for me to help out and for that, I knew I wanted to stick with them and have them be my dentist to go to from now on. Best Dental office ever. My gums were hurting bad from a bad tooth and this was the only office open on a Sunday. I called and the Doctor answered. She was very nice. I explained my situation and she told me to come right on in. I got to the office and met Melissa. She was also nice and helpful. Dr. Desiree Xeres Pleyto is our favorite dentist, she's been with us for about five years and we will always love her. She's the sweetest person in the world. Her dental work for all five of us has been exceptional. I just finished wearing my braces and I'm about to get my retainer so I'm really excited. Just found this dentist! My husband was in so much pain and it is a Sunday, I'm like what dentist is open on a Sunday!! I look on Yelp and find that they are open so I give them a call and they say to bring him in right away they can see him. Long story short after taking him on Wednesday to a different dentist and that dentist saying there is nothing wrong and they cleaned his teeth only, they ended up doing a root canal on one tooth. I had been in horrible pain and my normal dentists were out of town for the weekend. I called Irwindale Dental at 9 AM on a Sunday about my tooth. Dr. Pleyto and Melissa (the nurse) were amazing! Melissa took my X-ray and saw that I couldn't bite down without pain, so she positioned me differently. Dr. Pleyto saw me fairly quickly and informed me that my tooth was too sensitive to work on. Obviously, that was a bit disappointing but she was doing the right thing. She gave me a local anesthetic to hold me over until I got my prescription meds. read more
