Been here 3-4 times and loving it. The place is nice with great vibe. Staff are nice and friendly. The venue is quite spacious and cook ambiance. Big stage and varies type of seating areas. Foods are okey, drinks are great.

This was my first time to the Irvine Improv and first time to see a comedy show. I did not know what to expect when I purchased a ticket to see Middle Aged Boy Band on Sunday. I thought it was probably a parody concert of popular boy band hits kind of like Weird Al-type of parodies. We were seated in the front so we had a close up view of the stage, which I appreciated that. I also liked that I could place the order at anytime during the performance on my phone via scanning the QR code and paying after putting in an order without having to talk to a server. I ordered an iced tea and nachos. The iced tea came out pretty fast, but I had to remind the server about my nachos after not having seen it in over 30 minutes. I was pleased by the food and drink taste-wise. I liked that I could get extra cheese sauce without having to pay extra. I am taking one star off only because of the wait. I am not sure if I would have gotten my nachos had I not asked about it. The show itself was very engaging. The trio came off the stage and danced around us often and played very nostalgic boy band hits in between each comedy skit. I laughed so hard at times that I was in tears. I had such a great time. I would definitely come again.

Eight friends and I went to see Don McMillan on Wednesday evening. He was absolutely hilarious! Original, clean, very funny and smart, bright comedy. We all agreed he was the best comedian we'd seen in ages. The service was wonderful. The wait staff was very attentive. What a fun evening!

Came for the wrestling, tickets were free, but required to purchase two item minimum per person. The show was fun, the dives and jumps, wrestling very athletic sport. Kahula and coffee. Liked it just the right amount of sweet and hot. Food pepperoni pizza with Ceasar side salad, and nachos. Quality of the food was really good, lettuce fresh, ceaser dressing was tasty. Pizza cheese was very tasty and pepperoni and jalopenos went well with it, the bottom crust could of been cooked a little crisper. But that is my preference. Nachos large plate, very good toppings. Well worth the price.

The show just as the lights first went down.

It's been a while since I've been to Irvine improv. Lately I've been going to Brea - Irvine Is closer though and I got to see Leslie Liao. I bought tickets on side bc I had waited to buy tix. I went sola and the entire experience was lovely. I was seated right in the center upper- the ticket counter person was super helpful and friendly, the three staff at entrance were welcoming and answered any questions I had and joked around some. Also took it upon themselves to make sure I knew where the bathroom was as before entering in. AJ my areas server was the kindest and most attentive waiter I've ever had at an improv and I've been to a lot of shows. It could've been easy to be lax because it was not too busy that day but he made it a lot to make sure everyone in the area had what they need. Very kind. And then at the end I asked the one worker at the podium at entrance Brian doing something w wrist bands, what the name of the opener comedian was and he helped me find it. . I had a hard week and it was just so friendly, welcoming, felt like community / cousins/ caring. Thank you from my heart and I hope improv takes good care of their staff and keeps them healthy and happy. They're always working so hard and it made a difference. Ppl don't have to be nice ... But it really does count. Thank you.

First time at this Improv and I had a great time. There is a lot of seating with good views. We were in one of the rows of seats which were a bit cramped. They try to fit as many people as possible. Food was okay- I liked the pretzel the best. The drinks were pretty good. Overall, nice place for a fun show.

This was my first time visiting the Irvine Improv and it was what I expect from an improv. They are located at Irvine spectrum which is busy on a weekend. Parking was an absolute nightmare so please be prepared and give yourself some extra time to park. It took us about 20 mins to park from the moment we got in the structure. The line starts outside and once check-in process starts, it goes by pretty quick. It is first come first serve for seating so make sure you are there early if you want front seats in your area. There is a 2 item minimum per person, but they have an extensive menu so it shouldn't be a problem. We tried the steak rolls things that were good with lots of lettuce and had a dessert that was also good. My only callout is that they did not bring any napkins and we had to ask for some. I had the 2 martinis that were very tasty and couldn't taste the alcohol, but it sure was there! My bf had a whisky drink that he enjoyed. The ambiance will vary based on performer, but in general is more geared towards adults and it is darker inside. They have booths for larger parties that are totally worth it if you have enough people interested to fill them (4). Overall I enjoyed it but would think it twice on a weekend because of parking.

Attended the Atsuko Okatsuka comedy show last week. I had a great time despite being seated in the back. You can purchase general admissions tickets, which are treated us first come first serve. When you arrive, the staff walks you over to your table. They also have available booths for groups of four. The pricing is a little more expensive but I think it's definitely worth it. There's a QR code at the table which allows you to start a tab and order drinks and food. There is also a server who is assigned to your table and will provide service as well. The show was great, the staff was wonderful, and the drinks were not terrible. Can't wait to go back and see another comedy show!

    Meatballs and Marinara

I was not a fan of the two-item minimum policy because I knew the food would not be that good for the price, and I was right. It was so expensive for no reason but the only upside was that food counted as a part of the tw0 items. I ordered the Improve Mule which was not good so I gave it to my boyfriend and the meatballs and marinara. It came with 3 meatballs and 3 slices of bread. It wasn't horrible but I would've rather spent my money outside on a good meal instead of settling for movie theater quality of food. However, we had great seats and the service was great too. The waitress kept checking in on us and the food came out right away. There weren't any assigned seats so your seat depends on when you arrive. The usher walks you in and luckily, he took us to a bar-type seating that a great view of the show we came to watch: Gals on the Go.

Thank you to Joe for making good on a promise to correct what was a horrible experience into an unforgettable one. After a few years of hiatus from a previous experience, I was able to reach out with a lot of effort to get into Sammy Obeid. Laughter is what I needed. It made a huge shift for those couple of hours to have my mind forget about all the troubles of the world, the pain, the suffering, the negative space of health challenges and instead be in a room (which i normally avoid) and feel safe with a few family members. The acts were hilarious, my migraine was held at bay, the lighting was perfect, the sound not aggressive or triggering, and the VIP section easily ADA accessible for my specific needs. The server that helped my table was able to accommodate my dietary restrictions and even was able to get sweet potatoe fries from Umami Burger next door to be delivered to me. Who does that? We were super impressed. The favorites of the evening: The Improve wagyu burger, the fries, and the fried Oreos with ice cream. My cousin loved his expresso martini, and his wife and I had a margarita that was amazing. I wanted to come back for Maz Jobrani for Valentines Day weekend, but due to health issues had to pass. I will be back. I will be seated in the ADA section, with an open mind, an open heart, and space to laugh in order to cleanse my spirit. I really like the updated menu and look forward to coming back.

I went recently to the Irvine Improv venue to attend a standup show. Overall, the general vibe was enjoyable. I arrived early and was promptly seated at a table with two other small groups of patrons. You have to order at least two items off of the menu, drinks included. After the show was over, I stayed seated at the table, waiting for the rush to the exit to die down. I was finishing my drink when the staff started stacking every single cup in the room on my table.

View from the first VIP booth. Photo doesn't do it justice. It was still close enough I was getting eye contact with the comedians
    Cee O.

I have zero complaints about this venue for my first experience there. 4 of us purchased the VIP booth which I highly recommend. Even though it was a bit pricey, you know convenience always comes with a price. We attended the first show, we arrived 30minutes before the show started and there was no line because most ppl were already seated. We walked right up, got our wristbands and was walked right over to our table. We scanned the QR code on the table to view and order off the menu. Now, mind you with the VIP booth you get a credit towards your food and drinks so I might take back that the booth is pricey because after all the food and drinks for the evening we paid nothing. The service was great, everyone was friendly and fast! Feel like we barely submitted our order and it came right out. We stayed after the show to take photos with Nate Jackson who was the comedian we went to see. They were very organized. The 2nd showings line was pretty long. I'm assuming it takes a bit for them to clean up and get the next group back in so that's understandable. If I did have to complain it would be that I wish the restrooms were a little closer. They're at the very entrance. Parking as well is very ugly at the Spectrum on a Saturday night but we parked in the structure across the street literally across from the improv and just walked right over.. much better than waiting in a long line for the spectrum parking. I will definitely return to this venue.

Do I avoid the online fees by going to the box office in person?

Can I get a vip booth if I have 5 people? Or do I have to do individual vip?

I believe it is only for 4 people so I would say no. When u purchase tickets , it only gives u options for 4.

What is a better option? General admission booth for 4? Or 4 vip individual admissions ??? Which on will get me better seats? thank you in advance?

The vip line gets in first and will get you seats right in the front. The booths are in the middle of the seating area so I would say you are back about 50 feet from the stage. The booths are nice to sit in and private but if you want really close… Read more

What is the difference between vip seating and GA seating (not the booths)?

VIP seating is all in the front area of the room. GA seating is everything else behind it. Booths are only reserved for a group of 4 or more.

I just purchased 2 tickets on stubhub for a show in VIP booth seating. I didn't realize that it was like a 4 table restaurant booth. Will they sell 2 more tickets and sit us in a booth with random people?

Is this one of those places where you can tip the person seating you to get a better seat?

For the comedy main room, is there ample seating for a group of six or will we be split into groups?

Yep there is room for 6 and you can sit together!

Can you order desert only during the show?

Yes as long as you order 2 items per person it doesnt matter what you order

How does the seating work - is it first come first served? Will I be able to snag a booth if I'm one of the first people in line?

Its first come first served for the tables, but the booths are a separate ticket and all are generally reserved depending on how crowded the show is

    Is this venue Handicapped accessible?

Yes it is, they have ramps in the entrance and other great accommodations!

Do you have to be covid vaccinated to enter? And do they check vaccine cards?

No and no. But if a comedian has Covid checking as a policy for their show then yes. But that would be on the comedian, not the venue.

Can you come early and eat in the dining room before the doors open for your show, like at the Hollywood location?

Most the time I have gone, doors open about 2 hours before the show starts, which gives enough time to order and eat food before the show officially begins.

Do they have their own kitchen or do they still collaborate with Umami Burger?

Have their own kitchen. They don't serve umami in the improv showroom anymore.

Is the two item minimum per each person or group ... 5 of us one 21 for a 18+ event?

    It's per person, unfortunately.

What happens to your tickets when the comedy club changes the headliner on you a week or two beforehand?

I assume you are entitled to a refund considering you bought based on a particular person

Do they have a corkage fee? Do they allow for outside wine?

Since the club has a two drink minimum, I am going to say outside alcohol is a no go.

I usually watch movies here during the week, either in the morning or early in the afternoon, when crowds are light, and parking is easy. For concessions, I usually get a popcorn, hot dog, or nachos. I really like the Doritos Nachos with the cheese on the side. You can add jalapeños or extra cheese for an extra cost. There are fountain drinks that the staff will fill, or you can grab a bottled drink from the fridge at the cashier. There are a few other food and drink options to the left and right of the lobby, as well as a bar for alcoholic drinks. One of the main reasons to visit this Regal location is the 70mm IMAX theater. I've seen Marvel movies, Superman, Oppenheimer, Sinners, and recently Project Hail Mary. I love how large the screen is, and the audio is outstanding and immersive. The ideal rows, in my opinion, are G through J, which offer a good sightline for the enormous screen. Other theaters I've been in have been clean, with seats, screens, and audio systems that are fairly well maintained. ScreenX (larger than regular screens) and 4Dx (with motion) also offer a unique theater experience. The bathrooms are clean, and the men's room has plenty of urinals and stalls. I haven't had any issues with the staff or services provided. You can purchase tickets on the mobile app or at the self-service kiosk inside the lobby. Earn and redeem rewards through the app as well. I look forward to watching another blockbuster movie here.

We arrive to an extremely long line for concessions. An employee recommended using the app instead, except the app kept giving me an error, forcing us to wait in the line. Tell me why concessions is nearly twice as much as Cinemark. A small soda is $10.49. A small popcorn is $11.49. A small water is $6.99. In terms of quality of the food, it was awful. I had to wait 20 minutes for my pizza; the pizza was thin and tasted like cardboard. And the popcorn could not be saved by butter or salt. A complete waste of $50 for my family. We finally make it into the theater. Trailers and commercials lasted THIRTY ONE MINUTES. The movie start time was 12:30PM, but in reality, it didn't start until 1:01PM. In total, for my family of four to see one IMAX movie with concessions set us back $170. I would still consider that expensive if it was a perfect experience. But the fact that we had low quality food and seats that weren't comfortable makes the experience almost criminally pricey. Moving forward, I would rather go to Cinemark with a smaller screen.

It was highly abbreviated though, in my opinion. Tickets were for General Admission so we chose our seats upon doors opening. Every seat (approximately 750 seats) in the house seems to have non-obstructive view. We went for the first row center on the balcony level. Love this view. If you need a snack, there is wine, beer, water, soft drinks, and packaged snacks like cookies, chips, and candies for sale. Parking is in the structure right next to the theatre. (US$10-15) Ushers and all staff were very polite and courteous. Enjoy!

Today I had the wonderful opportunity conversing with the homeowner again he loves to share how he made each individual character from common items, such as washtubs, potato sacks, Water cans, etc. He mentioned that he does it for the community, especially the children. Furthermore, I found out today that as we grow closer to Christmas / winter holiday the outdoor decorations transitions/change into more of a Christmas theme (as the movie itself does) And as we get closer to December 25, he's going to put up a Christmas tree, and then the stockings! I love slowly driving by here, especially with a passenger, who's never seen the house before and is shocked at how beautifully done it is! In conclusion, we give Much thanks to the homeowner and the neighborhood for having this heartfelt display for all to enjoy !

For years we hoped to stop by, but life kept getting busy and we never quite made it--until now. On our very first visit, we were lucky enough to meet the homeowners themselves. They generously walked our four kids through each creation and section, encouraging them to ask questions and even sharing their own favorite parts of the movie that inspired it all. Watching our kids light up during that interaction made the experience even more special. What makes this display even more incredible is knowing that every single character in the yard is handcrafted by the homeowners themselves. The time, care, and love poured into this display is undeniable. A truly magical experience created by genuinely amazing people. We are so grateful we finally made the visit--and it's now a holiday memory our family will cherish.

He somehow remembers what people like, makes every drink perfectly, and keeps things moving even when it is busy without ever seeming stressed. What really sets him apart though is how he treats people. He is not just making drinks, he is creating an experience. You can tell he actually cares, and that is rare. Honestly I am not even exaggerating when I say I am a little disappointed every time I walk in and he is not there. It just does not hit the same without him. If you get the chance to have Marcus as your bartender you will get it instantly.

I would avoid this Dave & Busters in the future…read more The first time was okay. Their food overpriced. The service was crappy. My son's surfboard popped from the $30 spent for 2 items at "The Human Crane." He was really upset about it and begged to go back and win another one. So we went back today Tuesday during the week to buy another one. The sign says they are always open and to ask a team member. Each team member did not want to help and pushed back. Mind you there were no other guests there. I spoke to two different team members. The female bartender and another man who was lazy and gave every excuse not to operate it. We were on our way out and I mentioned to the hostess at the front what happened. She got the manager. Segue to a fourth convo with the manager and I'm like, hey I was gong to spend $30 more on Human Crane and more on games. At this point can they just replace the surfboard. I showed him the picture from this past Saturday. He kept repeating he didn't want to make my life hard but he needed me to bring in the popped surfboard remnants. I mentioned I had a knee surgery and it's hard on me to walk. He continued on he would just be need the surfboard to damage out and kept cutting me off. I would not spend a dime more of my money at this location. They are a joke. Not only are they massively overpriced; it has to be the worst customer service I've experienced at any Dave and Busters nationwide.
