Non-likes: - The tricky thing about their scheduling system is their policy that you'd be charged (I think $20) if you cancel within 24 hr of your appt, and their office is closed Thu, Sat, Sun. This means that if you need to cancel your Fri or Mon appointment, you gotta cancel by Wed or Fri afternoon, respectively (up to 3 days in advance). On Fri night I considered cancelling my Mon appt, but since they may not receive my request until Mon morn, I refrained from cancelling to avoid the late-charge fee. - I asked the receptionist how much my visit would cost without my insurance. They said still $65. However they would bill my insurance, and if my insurance covers part of the cost, I would be reimbursed later. Thing is, it is preferable if the health insurance fulfilled the coverage (in part or full) upfront. - I have notified the attendant almost 2 weeks ago that their Yelp hours need an update: they're closed on Thur, yet their Yelp page still says they're open. I cannot praise and thank both Dr. Kroes and Dr. Goda and their wonderful team enough! I was involved in a very serious car accident a few months ago and was in search of immediate back pain relief. Dr. Kroes' office accepted insurance through my auto insurance provider, which was a big plus for me! With my first consultation visit, Dr. Kroes layed out a recommended treatment plan. For the next few months, I would visit the office three times a week for an adjustment, therapeutic massage, and trigger point injection. The office staff was extremely friendly and understanding -- they accommodated to my pain and greatly helped relieve the tension and backaches. I have had an off and on neck issue for about 16 years. Recently it was ON and I was struggling with different chiropractors and PT's. Everyone meant well but things were getting worse instead of better. My dear friend recommended this establishment and my appointment with Lynne changed everything. I still need to see an orthopedic surgeon, but the wait until that appointment is now manageable thanks to her acute diagnosis of my pain and multi level approach to relieving it. If you've ever been in that kind of pain, you can appreciate someone who goes above and beyond to help you. It's not about getting some narcotic, that didn't help me at all! Dr. Kroes and his team of masseuses are fantastic. I went in here regularly for two months with my back completed crocked from a camping trip. He's patient, and very knowledgable with what he does. He does ask you to be patient for results to show but they definitely do show. After a few weeks I had no pain and within a month I could start lifting weights again. I went in for my initial consultation in immense pain immediately following my accident and Dr. Kroes explained a treatment plan that he thought would work well with my case, and thoroughly explained everything to calm my nerves. ive been going to Dr. Kroes for a couple years now. I actually found him online while looking for doctors who can treat vertigo patients. His staff is very friendly and the facility is really clean, so thats definitely a plus. Dr. Kroes is very friendly and takes his time to answer any questions you might have. He's a great chiropractor and I highly recommend him! An added plus is the massage therapy he offers either before or after your adjustment. All the therapists are extremely friendly. My favorite is a woman named Nim. She is HANDS DOWN THE BEST. She knows what shes doing and always makes me feel like a million bucks after my massage. A lot of times there is either too much pressure or not enough, but her massages are very consistent and she always fixes all your problem areas. I can't say enough about how much Dr. Kroes and his staff helped me. About a year ago, I developed a pain in the left center of my back that would wake me up in the middle of the night. I thought I just pulled a muscle and it would go away. 4 weeks later it hadn't, and I went to ICC on a recommendation of a friend. ICC has a multi-disciplinary approach to treating joint and muscle issues. They employ not only chiropractic adjustments (Dr. Kroes), but also use an RN (Lynne Hunt) for health reviews and occasional pain treatments (painless trigger point injections at pain sites with FDA-approved supplements), a PT (Jessica) for muscle flexibility and strengthening, and massage therapists (April, Deb, Cambria, etc.) for muscle relaxation. They also provided me with a neoprene back brace and a electro-stimulation unit which allowed me to address things at home as needed when occasional acute soreness came back from say, golfing or working out in the yard. This comprehensive approached really worked. It was really life changing not to wake up in pain every day. I had always had back pain for over 20 years (I have a form of kyphosis), but after regular appointments for several months, not only was my initial acute issue cured (within just 3 weeks of weekly treatments), but my chronic issues have nearly completely subsided. It really helped to that my insurance happened to cover all of this too. As that goes, Dr. Kroes recognizes that, as my treatment progressed, I didn't need to come in every week. He had me come in only as medically necessary. This isn't one of those other places that has you come in every week just to see underlings so he can bill your insurance company. Thanks to Dr. Kroes and his friendly staff I'm able to sleep through the night and can do the things I want to do without pain like golfing and picking up my kids. I have been going to Dr. Kroes for over a year for everything from chiro and massage to immune therapy shots. Dr Kroes and his entire staff are unbelievable from top to bottom. They are very good about appointment times so there is never a wait. My major issues have been properly diagnosed and worked on by the good Dr. and his staff. Every masseuse has their own way and technique. It's suggested that you try each one to find the perfect fit for you. Nurse Lynn has been awesome with everything I've needed and has even given me additional reading material or other ideas to help me outside of coming into the office. I still go in monthly for 'maintenance' or any time I need after travel or something I've done to myself through sports. Great doctor!! My wife and I came to see Dr. Kroes after we got rear-ended. He was able to quickly diagnose a case of whiplash and recommended treatment, which consisted of a series deep tissue massages and neck/spine adjustments over the course of 6 weeks. I have been going to see DR Kroes for over ten years now. I started seeing him because of a few car accidents that me and my mom were in. My mom had been seeing him a few years before me. Because I started going to see DR Kores at a young age (around 11 years old) naturally I was a bit scared to get adjusted. But Doctor Kores calm demeanor helped me calm down and relax in order for him to adjust my back, sides, and neck properly. Since then I feel more then comfortable and I look forward to getting adjustments regularly. After your adjustment you feel like a new person. DR Kores has always kept the BEST staff in his practice I have never been disappointed with a massage, the environment is very relaxing and easy to let loose, and you literally walk out of the room after your massage feeling like jello. I have paid for expensive massages in spas and at resorts but I have never gotten a better massage then Deb or Nims. They have studies at some of the best massage schools and it shows they know how to focus on your knots and really knead them out.
