Polite staff. + Ample parking. + Conveniently located near various shops of The Square as well as the 405. Non-likes: - The tricky thing about their scheduling system is their policy that you'd be charged (I think $20) if you cancel within 24 hr of your appt, and their office is closed Thu, Sat, Sun. This means that if you need to cancel your Fri or Mon appointment, you gotta cancel by Wed or Fri afternoon, respectively (up to 3 days in advance). On Fri night I considered cancelling my Mon appt, but since they may not receive my request until Mon morn, I refrained from cancelling to avoid the late-charge fee. - I asked the receptionist how much my visit would cost without my insurance. They said still $65. However they would bill my insurance, and if my insurance covers part of the cost, I would be reimbursed later. Thing is, it is preferable if the health insurance fulfilled the coverage (in part or full) upfront. - I have notified the attendant almost 2 weeks ago that their Yelp hours need an update: they're closed on Thur, yet their Yelp page still says they're open. Lemme try. . I appreciate that they send reminder texts. Sample text: "OC Health & Physical Medicine: Reply C or tap https://txt.care/sample to confirm John's appt on Feb 30 at 11:30 AM. Questions? Call (949) 862-7499 STOP=End msgs HELP=Help" I wish there was a quick response for cancelling the appt, eg "Reply CANCEL to cancel appt." That way, even if it's a Thu, Sat, or Sun, you could still cancel well before your appt without getting charged a late fee.

"When I went for my first appointment, I immediately felt at easy in this nice cozy location, especially when meeting Dr. Cynthia in person, she has a truly vibe that makes you feel, not only genuinely welcomed, but like if you are meeting with a close family member or lifetime friend, something beyond reasonable explanation, she is, no doubt about it, a truly gifted person that was meant to help people, she is extremely kind, respectful and knowledgeable, while making you feel understood and at peace with yourself. She is a great listener and knows how to interact in a soft and effective manner, with many responses filled with wisdom" During this time when I have already attended over 15 sessions, having started with hypnotherapy and switched thereafter to hypnopuncture, a unique approach from Dr. Cynthia where she combines acupuncture and hypnotherapy, I cannot other than reaffirm my original comments posted in my first review but on steroids, Dr. Cynthia has been an immense blessing in this healing journey of mine, I have no words to express my gratitude and joy to be able to have her on my side, she is one of a kind, with an innate optimism mixed with empathy, kindness and knowledge that makes you feel safe at peace and understood. The hypnopuncture experience has been wonderful, where body and mind are taken care of with a holistic approach. I have been improving significantly on this complex healing process of mine and a big part of it is, no doubt about it, due to Dr. Cynthia therapy. All my gratitude and elevated emotions are aligned with the blessing of having such a special professional and human being on my side.

However, it was never my goal to manage symptoms, but to find the root cause and cure for the illnesses. I was very sad and frustrated, as I felt almost no one was truly listening to me, and almost no one had any answers. Meanwhile, I was losing years of my life to terrible days. I purchased the ALB Fresh Start package, and I wish I had found Cindy sooner! Cindy was very thorough and took her time with me during our first meeting. She even explained some of my doctor's notes and tests better than they had ever explained them to me. From the very first day, she was adamant with helping me and remained consistently focused on finding potential options, solutions, and answers for me! Cindy far exceeded my expectations and she truly changed my life! At the time that my package concluded, I had made some good progress, but was still struggling with some symptoms (it is understandable that the body would need more time to heal). Cindy left me with helpful advice for potential next steps to explore. She also led me to some solutions that ended the daily headaches and migraines I had been experiencing! I am so grateful to have experienced this miracle come true for me, and it's highly possible that I will purchase more sessions from her in the future! I had a far superior experience working with Cindy than I had with most doctors and practitioners over the years. Working with her is well worth the investment -- in fact, the value is priceless!
