    Where to begin. My husband and I are looking to move and we schedule an appointment to view these apartments yesterday July 19, 2020. We knew that because of the pandemic we would have to do a self guided tour and we were okay with that. We arrived at 2:00PM (the time of our appointment) and the office was closed. We asked someone from maintenance for Elsa, the person we had the appointment with. He informed us that Elsa was off and we should wait for someone in the office to come back from lunch. I truly dislike when people are late but we waited, we were there already and we were very excited and ready to fill out an application. A little over 10 minutes later someone from the office arrived and gave us a map. She did not guide us so we were on our own. Once we arrived to the apartment we were welcome by a no so pleasant smell. We kept walking and noticed that the apartment was duty, some things were broken and on top of all someone had been doing their laundry there and had left the washer duty (with dogs/cats fur) and their clothes on top of the kitchen stove. we were beyond disappointed. Nevertheless we decided to tour the second apartment. Same conditions. it smelled horrible. feeling like we waisted our time we went back to the office and told them about our experience. All we got was an "okay", she did not address our pictures or issues and she let us go. Checking online, there are around 14 units free but the lady from the office couldn't find it within her to show us a different unit that was not dirty or stinky. We are sad that our time did not matter but we hope that by writing a review and complaining they fix these issues so future tenants do not encounter them Thank you.

    Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish…read more I moved into Legacy at Livermore in July 2023 and was one of the first residents in the building. I actually found the property through a Google search while living overseas, which could have been stressful, but the leasing team made it incredibly easy. Diane was my first point of contact and she was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and went above and beyond by taking a video of the exact apartment I was interested in. That level of care and transparency immediately gave me confidence in my decision. Shortly after moving in, I had two vehicles delivered while I was out of state in Texas picking up my dog. Faye stepped in without hesitation, received both vehicles, and parked them safely, one of them being a stick shift, which deserves extra appreciation. That kind of support is rare and speaks volumes about the team. The property itself is easily the nicest place to live in the Tri-Valley. The downtown Livermore location is unbeatable, the amenities are top-tier, and the apartments are modern and well maintained. Diane and Faye were always quick to respond whenever I had questions, Todd (the property manager) was outstanding, and the maintenance team was consistently professional and efficient. Pros: * Prime downtown location * Excellent amenities * New, modern apartments * Responsive and caring management team Cons: * Some residents not picking up after their dogs * Occasional garage gate damage caused by residents (Neither of these are management issues--just a matter of resident accountability.) Both my move in and move out processes were smooth and stress free. I received my refund promptly, minus the standard cleaning fee for the professional crew used to ensure everything was done properly. If you're looking for a newer apartment, great location, safety, and peace of mind, I absolutely recommend Legacy at Livermore.

The safety issues have been addressed, maintenance requests are now completed with impressive speed and efficiency, and communication has taken a noticeable turn for the better. I truly appreciate that management appears committed to improving the resident experience. No place will ever be perfect--and that's not my expectation--but given the high prices, what I do expect is clear communication and timely maintenance of the communal spaces that were originally key selling points of the building. I'm glad to see meaningful progress in those areas. Thank you Legacy management and maintenance team.

From the beginning, Daisy gave us a tour of multiple units and we actually retoured again with Darren the very next day because we were interested but wanted to know more specific details before making a decision. We ended up loving this place so much that we applied and moved in within 3 weeks! I want to give a shoutout to Darren for going above and beyond for us. We mentioned wanting a washer without an agitator when we were touring and we were interested in a specific unit that had a washer with an agitator. Darren surprised us on our move in date and had the washer replaced for us! They also left us a thoughtful welcome gift when we got our keys. The small little details is what makes me believe that we made a great decision choosing this place to stay. Everyone here was very nice, friendly, and professional. Our experience with the maintenance was very positive as well. I was not home when Freddy came to fix a couple of things, but my partner mentioned he was very quick and efficient. We submitted a work order the night before and he came the next day! Overall, all of our interactions with the staff here are very positive! As soon as you put a maintenance request in they are on top of it. If it's after hours they are on site to you within an hour or less. All the neighbors are friendly. It's quite no matter what time of day or night it is. I get home sometimes at 4 or 5 in the morning and sometimes have a hard time getting parking. Other than that we love it here. Walking distance to downtown. We walk to dinner and the movie and get coffee. Don't hesitate if you're thinking about moving here. Just do it!

    ************************UPDATE*******************************…read more Stay Far Away from Maralisa Meadows - Rodents, Roaches, and Corrupt Management! Living at Maralisa Meadows was beyond disgusting. Rodents were running across my kitchen counter, and despite months of complaints, management failed to find or fix the source of the infestation. I was the one who discovered a large hole in my kitchen, which they had overlooked the entire time. Even after multiple reports to management, they never properly addressed the issue. The Public Health Department (Vector Control) and the Livermore Housing Authority had to step in, placing the property on abatement due to the severe rodent problem. By the time I left three months later, the property was STILL under abatement, meaning they never fixed the infestation. When they inspected the roof, they even found rat droppings! To make matters worse, they stole over $8,000 from my deposit, which included the interest I had accrued. The property manager is inept, a habitual liar, and completely untrustworthy. FPI Management as a whole is unscrupulous and disgusting, showing zero accountability for their negligence. By the time I left in January, roaches had joined the rodents. My next-door neighbor killed five mice in his kitchen in a single day. On top of all that, many tenants don't even pay rent and feel entitled to enter your unit without knocking. So, if you enjoy living in filth, dealing with dishonest management, and sharing your space with rodents and roaches, then Maralisa Meadows is the place for you! Otherwise, run far, far away.
