In my last 2 months at F45, I could sense that my progress had plateaued (which always eventually happens if you've worked out consistently for a solid period of time). Due to my move to the area, I fortunately happened upon Life Fit while taking a new route home from work. I took the free class and was hooked (despite the no air conditioning, which eventually is a small price to pay for the tremendous benefits). In just 3 months of going to Life Fit, I feel as strong and healthy as I did in my 20's (I'm in my mid-40's), have reached an ideal bodyweight and BMI, and truly enjoy EVERY workout (as grueling as they are!). The foundation of this gem of a gym is the owner and employees. ALL of them genuinely care for each person's health and well-being. It's nice to be greeted each time you walk through the door and given a verbal and figurative pat on the back when you leave. In addition, it's motivating for me to hear a trainer (i.e. Fabian) say my name attached to a "good form" or "keep it up" while I'm in the midst of a tough set. Both Adrian and Fabian have helped me with my form on numerous exercises so that I could maximize my efforts. Fabian has sat with me for over an hour to educate me on eating for my body's needs. Valeria and Ms. Maria are always helpful and generous with a personal greeting and smile. All in all, I am grateful for this gym and what it's offering the community and what it's given me. Go to the site, pay, sign, lift. Gym is extremely well equipped for strength training , dumbbells up past 120 and well beyond my 1-year trained ass. Tons of benches and deadlift areas, solid cable cross, good arms area, and a good posing room. Everything a growing lad needs on the road. I don't think I'll miss out on a single lift this week. Everything was clean, in good repair, plenty of gym wipes, weights organized and properly racked. The people who work out here are also solid gym goers I'd guess and that makes a difference. If I lived in Houston this would be my main gym. They get it, and it's clear their customers do too. It's my kind of spot. If you're looking for cardio options are light, a few treadmills an assault bike and a few stair masters. Perfect for warmup and cool off but if you're looking to run for an hour this may not be your spot.

This place has an indoor lane pool, a sauna, relatively clean restrooms, squat racks, wall wide mirrors, plenty of machines, and folks with pretty ok gym etiquette. As you can imagine, weights are never organized but I never seem to have any issues finding what I need. For more negatives, some treadmills are missing the capability of inclining, some stair masters just dont function, and some seats are pretty beat up. You can find a hole where weights are being dropped near the dumbbells and benches. But I would consider myself a longtime subscriber here. I love going with the wife and the staff members are pretty cool.
