The ambience was friendly (there was a game of darts happening, plus it seemed all the dudes there knew each other or were at least familiar -- I was the only female in the joint), but a bit warm + humid. I didn't have layers on and wished I would've worn a t-shirt to be able to strip down to. Plus the prices were cheap!

The old place closed and has reopened as a brew pub (although they don't offer their own branded beer, just beers from various local breweries). The new menu is limited and many old favorites are gone (although they kept a couple of the sandwiches). The new menu includes very overpriced hotdogs ($12 for a hotdog?!) and the drink menu is limited. What we were mostly disappointed about though was that the atmosphere lost a lot of its charm with the removal of the beautiful old lighting and ironwork. The bar is still there, but forelorn looking without a full liquor assortment. The backroom is now closed (we think that's where the eventual brewery equipment might go?). Its just not the Last Turn as we knew and loved it, and there isn't enough there to bring us back in any more.

The menu has quite a variety and I was there over lunch with limited patrons throughout, but I would imagine it would get busier as the day goes on.
