This is rapidly becoming our favorite winery in the area. As you start with the white wines, you will begin a pairing adventure that will take your palate to new heights. The servers make it a true experience, and you will be left either joining the wine club or at the very least walking out with multiple bottles. My personal favorites are the Grenache, the 2020 Zin, and the Semillion any year. The photos don't even do the scenery justice, so you must go for yourself.

The owners are out there pouring there own wines. So first hand we were able to learn about the beginning of the winery and all the wines being produced here. The Jones' were very down to earth and made us feel at home. The tasting room building id architecturally stunning as you come up the drive. Plenty of parking in two large gravel lots. Inside had a great industrial vibe, but on a gorgeous fall day head outside. Their massive patio has many comfy seating options. We took the living room like area in the far corner next to the vines. What a fantastic leisure experience. Along with the wine menu Iron Hub offers a snack menu to upgrade your tasting. It was also delicious. The flight that day- 2021 Chardonnay, I enjoyed it's light pear and apple notes. 2022 Rose, perfect for the Nevada summer to sip. A bit of strawberry. 2020 Clockspring Zin, I liked that the cherry over took the raspberry note for me. 2020 Barbera, definitely this was choice to purchase. I love barbera and this one had a soft cherry and blackberry taste. Mmm. 2020 Petite Sirah, was a blackberry and plum jam with a bit of spice. Also very nice. Absolutely a spot to try again.

Our group was in town for a long weekend of wine tasting in Plymouth. We visited 9 wineries and every winery visit was great, except for Iron Hub. It was recommended by two people separately and so we expected a great wine tasting experience. Unfortunately it was just ok. I think it's just the stark contrast to the superb, friendly, and warm service that we were getting at the other wineries that is the problem here. The service from our hostess Ruth Ella was friendly but I think she wasn't very accommodating. Might be the winery's policy. We asked about other wines and were told that we can only try what's on our menu. At other places, they usually would let us try before buying and we usually buy a case of wine in the end to be shipped home. We did buy a bottle of their aglianico blend to try and purchased two of that to take home. We did meet the winemaker Spencer and his cute dogs. Spencer was really nice and chatted with our group for a bit. It's a beautiful winery with a sweeping vista but unfortunately we just felt like service wasn't all that great here.

Wine tasting is always a good idea after the holiday festivities. Came here the day after the Christmas celebration and inevitable stress of the holidays. We were a party of 4. Ben, Gloria (the wine members) , Nana and I... Iron Hub Winery is perfect. We decided to sit outside on a rainy & chilly day. We had a firepit, heaters and a glorious view. Frankie was our sommelier and was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Wines: * Chardonnay 2021: notes of pear, floral, and vanilla aromas with a hint of honeysuckle. * Rosé 2022: Aromas of strawberries, with lush berry flavors and a crisp finish. * Sangiovese 2020: Cherry and strawberry aromas. Bright dark cherry and spice flavors with a long finish. * Old Vine Zinfandel 2020: Blackberry, plum, cranberry aromas Rich blackberry, boysenberry, plum flavors. * Resolute 2020: Plum and black currant aromas. Blackberry, cranberry and currant with smooth tannins. All the wines were delicious. My favorite was the Resolute 2020. We ordered a bottle to share. Also ordered olives, nuts and brang our own charcuterie board. * Another wonderful feature this winery has is; they allow you to bring your own food to enjoy whilst wine tasting, which is rare. By far my favorite winery in the Plymouth area. Wines, service and ambiance exceeds perfection. I will definitely be back...

We visited the winery on Saturday afternoon in fall. The tasting room was packed with people from a local event. However, the staffs were friendly and very accommodating. Hubby & I split a wine tasting since we weren't a big wine drinker. We tried Chardonnay 2021, Rose 2022, Barbera 2020, Esola Zinfandel 2020, and Cross Creek Zinfandel 2020. My favorite was the Barbera. They have limited indoor seating but plenty tables outdoor. The outdoor seating was very nice during that time. The view around the vineyard was beautiful too. We might come back another time when it's not too busy.

Wow! I've always wanted to try the wines and visit this venue! OMG, so happy we finally got the chance! What an amazing experience! The drive up was beautiful and the setting and scenery was absolutely stunning from this venue. It's such a beautiful winery...amidst the vineyard, you are greeted by the view and sounds of the rolling hills. The tasting room is absolutely gorgeous with its modern architecture! The service for our wine tasting was top notch. We not only had a chance to taste what was listed on the menu but also some bonus wines! Our hostess was tentative and very knowledgeable (wish I could remember her name). She took care of us from our tasting to finding us a table on the patio to enjoy the delicious food and live music. What great customer service! Everything met our expectations and we were so pleased by not only with their delicious wines, but from the ambiance to the service. A+! Of course, with all this said, we found ourselves joining their wine club! Cheers to a long relationship!

First time at this place, this was our second stop on a 3 winery tour in Plymouth. The wine selection was nice. Staff was friendly. Zin & Smokey (winery dogs) were so cute and just hung out by the tables as we drank. Didn't explore the venue too much. I was a little disappointed with the food. We ordered a charcuterie plate and the cheese, meat and crackers came out in packages like we just picked it up at the grocery store. Maybe I misunderstood but I was expecting a nicely plated spread. Would come back again.

Friday, 7/07/2023 - my GFs and I went to Iron Hub Winery to wine taste. Address is 12500 Steiner Rd, Plymouth, CA 95669. Beautiful winery. Wine tasting is like $15 per person was what I was told. I don't drink so wasn't into the tasting. Upon arrival.. Pros 1) plenty of parking when we arrived. 2) gorgeous winery 3) staffs nice. Very informative. 4) clean winery. 5) they have a small menu. Light. Like cheese, crackers and bread. You cut it yourself. Tasted good. 6) Beautiful view in the back. Cons 1) service was extremely slow. 2) in 2 of the wine cups, there were hair and particles in it. While the other 3 did not have anything in it. The other 3 were clean. Conclusion This winery was ok. Beautiful views. Staffs nice. Wines were ok. We didn't buy any at this location. Parking was good.

LOVE this spot! Great wine, great atmosphere and our semmolier Ben was so knowledgeable and friendly. Joined their club and so excited to be a part of it!

Love this winery. Delicious wines, beautiful views, and friendly, chill staff. The grounds and gardens are inspiring, but in a relaxed "I want to spend the afternoon sipping wine and soaking up life" sorta way. Must try their red blends (GSM - "Triad" is delish).

In my opinion, they are doing so many things to enhance the wine tasting experience, it could blow away the competition. Examples are as follows: 1. Rebuilding, refinishing and updating the tasting room and facility. 2. Hiring the former Sous Chef from Taste restaurant to create food offerings/pairings and provide a small bite sample with wine tasting. 3. Display unique and unusual art in and around the property. (They have seven full size panels from the Berlin Wall adjacent to the tasting room.) 4. Staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. 5. The wine pricing is reasonable when compared to the quality. 6. Both the food and wine are excellent. That said, I think the one possible stumbling point could be their attempt to blend in their east coast sister wines and styles with this region. It might be an interesting idea, but I am uncertain people locally will appreciate or understand the effort. The Amador wine region is not Napa Valley, and I don't think it possesses the international appeal, notoriety or demographics that will support the concept of bi-coastal wines. In any event, we will return to further experience the ongoing evolution of this remarkable winery.

It is quite big and open. I think someone can host an outdoor concert or a wedding. We got to taste about five type of wines (Sauvignon Blanc and few blended red wine). They were all good. I particularly like the 2020 Interlude and purchased a bottle for my sister. We also got to sample from their gallery collection library club that's like 20+ years old ( I forgot the exact year) and that was special. They also have dumplings and spring rolls for purchase. I skip that because I wasn't sure if that would go with the wine. We bought some cheese with us and we had that with our wine. Of course, we asked for permission before bringing in our own cheese and crackers. The gentleman that served us was really nice and friendly. We didn't feel rushed and wine was poured at a good pace. I do want to mention that most winery at Amador will comp at least one tasting with purchase, but not at Di Arie. If you're not a member, be prepared to pay the full wine tasting fee per person.
