Avoid Jose Flores at Iron Horse. In my experience, his workmanship was horrible. He took a deposit and then disappeared--no follow-through, no accountability, and no responses despite repeated attempts to contact him. I later discovered that the references he provided were not legitimate. He is not licensed, and there are multiple complaints filed against him with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, which is public record. He has also been featured on ABC15 in Arizona for taking people's money and not completing work. This fake contractor wasted my time and money. Do your homework before hiring--had I known then what I know now, I would have walked away immediately. read more

Iron Horse Welding Work - they will get post up-and never come back to make you think they are doing what they agreeded to do - Fences & Gates Near Me - Tolleson, Arizona

Previously used this business. They always had some excuses as to why they delayed completing the fencing job. After numerous discussions with them, he decided that he didn't want the disclosure of how bad it would be to have their name exposed as a scam company. They finally completed the job after several months of delay excuses. The price was significantly lower because he didn't complete the job per the agreed completion time frame. I don't recommend this company!!! read more

I found this guy on Facebook marketplace .he told me he could build a shade structure for me , and he quoted me 5 grand . I agreed, and he charged my credit card 2500 dollars . And then he asked me to zelle him 500 , so I did . After reading all these negative reviews on him , I told him I changed my mind and I wanted my money back. I was able to get the money back on the credit card , but I was unable to get the cash back I sent him on zelle . This is a pattern with this guy . I can't get my money back , but if I could prevent this from happening to anyone else I would like to help in any way I can . DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN ANY MONEY !!!!!!! HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY !!!!! read more

Iron Horse Welding Work - This is a letter stating he would give my money back . I don't feel he has any intention of giving me my money back . - Fences & Gates Near Me - Tolleson, Arizona

Jose was very prompt in his initial estimate for a new gate at my home. However, when it came time to begin work on the gate Jose consistently rescheduled the start date for the project after failing to show up in the first place. I had to follow up with Jose multiple times to get the work started. Finally after I filed a complaint with the BBB Jose followed up with me to complete the work. Jose finally finished the gate almost 2 weeks past our original completion date. On inspection of the gate, Jose's team had spray painted the posts and over-sprayed onto my home. Also the latch to one of my gates was too short for its housing and would fall out of the latch mechanism. Overall I would not recommend Iron Horse Welding. read more

Jose A Flores who owns Iron Horse Welding Work LLC has no morals,no ethics, and no intention of building you a shade cover.Jose will sell you an igloo in Arizona. He has 5 lawsuits against him.He doesn't show for court. His accounts have been garnished by the courts for refusal of paying a court judgment. There is a news story about this conartist.I ended losing $4500 to this guy.He started playing the "not showing up" game. I admit I screwed up,I should have done my due diligence and researched him and I didn't.He initially showed up as scheduled and installed 4 metal posts for an RV carport, then the games began of not showing up.After a few weeks I was finally able to get him to show and install 4 more posts only after I told him I would cut my losses and not sue him if he would just install the posts,he agreed. At this point I didn't trust him to do the work correctly, plus if I sued it would be a waste of my time since he obviously doesn't show for court or pay his judgements.Jose has no intention of doing your project but every intention of taking your money. Don't believe me, Google him and his company. Then look his company up in civil court with Maricopa Co Superior court to see the multiple lawsuits. What a POS. read more

Iron Horse Welding Work - Jose A Flores. - Fences & Gates Near Me - Tolleson, Arizona

I found Jose Flores and hired him to put in pipe fencing for some land I recently purchased. He came out and met with us at the property, in trucks and shirts that had his name, "Iron Horse Welding" on everything so I thought he was legitimate. He had pictures (lots of them) showing the type and kind of welding he has done for other people and he seemed to know what he was talking about in terms of the gauge of steels and size of pipe. He needed 1/4 of the money down before beginning and so I paid him $2500 plus another $400 for him to make me a metal sign with my ranch's name on it. He has never come back out, marked bushes that we were to take out for him that were in the way, brought out piping or posts or concrete to the property like he said he was going to and half the time you can't even get him on the phone. He always has an excuse for not showing up, either a doctor's appt or his truck broke down or something. He is believable so do be careful He wants paid on Zelle so there is no recourse if he doesn't do the work. He only came out once on the 10th of November and has not been back since. He is a scam, do not give him money, and don't use him at all. He won't do the work! read more

DO NOT GIVE THIS SALESMAN YOUR MONEY!!! DO NOT!!!!! I wish I would have seen these reviews before using Jose. Even though most of these reviews are old, they still hold true. What you will get with Jose is a crappy salesman who at first appears to be a stand up guy. He'll take half the money for a down payment, then he will show up on the first day and say he has to charge "tax". So the estimate he gives you isn't the actual estimate. He then won't remove your old fence even though he worked that into your verbal estimate. The two guys who actually do the work did a great job. They need to find a new employer. read more

Takes the deposit, then does not do the work. He is a Scammer. Jose will not respond to request for refund either

Do not ever hire iron horse welding works or Jose A. Flores. He will Como to you give a estimate. A good price to get your business, he will send you pictures of his projects, and will insist on selling you his work. Once you say ok. He will make a contract get 50% down. He sets a date to start the project, and he calls with an excuse why he can't get there, then he shows and works few hrs and leaves and doesn't come back. Every time I call to ask when he is coming back, he has an excuse to go and get the job done. It has been a month already, and nothing has been done. EVERYTIME HE HAS AN EXCUSE. DO NOT MAKE ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY. YOU WILL REGRET. PLUS HE IS NOT REGISTERED WITH R.O.C. but his has an LLC. It's hard to get your money back. read more

Update: Final $ was repaid to us. It has taken about 10 months to get full refund (since contract signed). This was our experience.... Read the reviews from other sites. I sure wish we would have! I sure wish we would have! Same story as so many others... gave down payment to build additional covered horse stalls and hay storage, and about a week or two later Jose was asking for more money (not having completed a thing). He finally did place 6 posts in our ground...promising to come on certain days and he was always a no show. We asked for a full refund as there was absolutely no way we believed he would ever finish the job. Very unprofessional and dishonest business dealings. read more

This guy is a total fraud and scammer. After being scammed by him for 3 months, I started researching him online, only to find out that he steals money from people claiming to do Welding Work, and never returns the money. He took $3500 from me back in June, never started the work. He then promised me a full refund. For over the past 2 months, he has given several dates to come by and pay my money back. But every time, he doesn't show up, and comes up with an excuse. Please beware. read more

Before you hire Iron Horse Welding Works, checkout this guys' reviews on Google reviews and the BBB. We had a positive experience with this guy three years ago, and his crew did great work. But today, Jose is totally unreliable. Anything he says cannot be trusted. If you decide to use him, do not give him any cash upfront. If he requests a deposit, demand that it be a credit card deposit. This way you can get your deposit back when he does not complete the project. Consider yourself lucky! Many of us who hired Jose have been left with unfinished projects and for all practical purposes lost our deposits. Jose, we are still waiting for the refund you promised about a year ago! read more

Same issues as everyone else. I wish I had done my research. Came out, gave an estimate, took my down payment and then set six posts and never returned. DO NOT USE HIM! It is a complete scam. read more

We want t thank Iron Horse Welding Work for overcoming the obstacles we found in our new premises. He took the time to run the extra mile and leave us a perfect shade for the yard. We had to wait couple days extra but the waiting was worth it read more

got the feeling he was a total scammer after several similar leading questions I was asked when I was almost scammed by another person. But was willing to take a chance on him. I figured it out. The reason he doesn't have time to go to do any jobs is that he is so busy soliciting and writing up contracts. If you all notice, he is very eager to come out to get a contract started and collect a deposit. He is right on time, if not early for that. read more

Jose Flores is a scammer. Check out the google reviews for this company. He will take your money and never call back or return to complete the job. Jose makes promises to extend time and never makes good. I had to threaten legal action multiple times over the course of 8 months. He is a scammer and this company is not legitimate. He is also not a licensed contractor....go figure. read more

I only wish I had looked at this crook's reviews before I gave him my hard earned money. I gave him $1875 on March 20th 2019 and he came by the next day with a contract and asked for another $1875 which I was dumb enough to give him. This was to construct a car port to store my motorhome in. The total was to be $7500 and balance was due at completion. The start date was to be 4/9/19 and completion date 4/30/19. He first showed up on 5/23 and installed 4 posts after numerous excuses why he hadn't showed up before. on 7/2 he showed up and installed 5 more posts. After numerous calls to him and every excuse and lie he could come up with I finally fired him on 8/2/19. Stay away from this guy! I still can't get back any of my $$ that he owes me. Giving him the benefit of the doubt he owes me at least half of the $3750 I gave him. HE IS A DEADBEAT CROOK!!!!! His name is Jose A Flores and his company is Iron Horse Welding Work. read more
