Nice setting to enjoy some beer, music and pizzas. We had the pretzel bites as an appetizer - they came out fresh with tasty mustard and cheese sauce. The two pizzas we had were also tasty and wood oven baked: cheese and sausage. Highly rated.

Cubano sandwich.

Great brewery, cubano wasn't a traditional one which I asked about. But the side salad was amazing. The sandwich was good but wasn't what I asked for. The bartenders were okay but didn't check on me during my meal. The beer was great though, merchandise was on point. I would go back to check it out again. Also didn't know there was outside sitting area. Ended up buying a hat.

Stopped on way to airport for dinner on Sunday .... Expected it to be good based on reviews. IT WAS SPECTACULAR..... will return on next trip thru Spokane. The Beet salad is almost worth a day trip to Spokane .... We had the special of day pizza, beet salad & mixed green salad. I can't rave enough. Delicious. Flavorful. Perfect balance among savory flavors. Pizza crust not too thin and not too thick - chewy but only just perfectly! My husband had beer which he liked a lot - was very happy with selection. I had a kombucha like soda they make. As with the food ... beverages did not disappoint!! Give it a try .... I can't wait to return.

Two IPAS as in the text.

Good brews after a hot day. The squeeze had Sheep Go to Heaven IPA and I had the King Puck Northwest IPA. Both very decent beers. Lots of room in this brewery. Friendly staff but again, $3 stickers. A star off for that. We didn't eat there.

Fun spot to visit! We got a pizza and sat in the back patio where they had live music. Pizza was great and so was the service! Would recommend a visit!

We parked our Class C 25' RV on the street on a Saturday and went inside. Everyone was friendly and the beer was good. We had potato jalapeño poppers and they were delicious! Try this place!

The bartender is friendly. The beer is cold and delicious. My lunch was tasty. What else is there? I dropped in because I needed to kill 45 minutes and I was hungry. I made an excellent choice in stopping at the Iron Goat. I love their industrial chic space. They have a nice selection of beer and beer-adjacent drinks. The dude behind the counter was relaxed and helpful. I just like the vibe, man. Check it out.

Good vibes, really good food? Who knew a goat could sling side salads and sandwiches that good

2nd Ave combo
Taylor V.

My friend and I were driving through and were looking for lunch, we wanted something fresh, we also like breweries. This place was perfect. I ordered the 2nd Ave combo pizza. My friend ordered the turkey sandwich. She said it was good, but not what she was craving. The pizza was delicious!! I like a thin crust where the toppings get all the shine. The sauce was simple and not over powering. It's a shame I live so far. The staff were patient as we were deciding what to order, the chef accidentally dropped the pizza coming out of the oven so we had to wait 10 ish minutes for the next one. Meanwhile my friend had already been given her food. She insisted on waiting for my food, so hers wasn't as fresh. We weren't looking to make a fuss, accidents happen not a big deal. But our pizza got refunded, which was more than we would have expected. It was very generous of them, seeing as how I still ate the pizza for 3 days!

Sheep Go To Heaven

I had the recommended IPA 'Sheep Go To Heaven' an excellent hazy IPA. with a Bahn Mi Burrito Pork. Very large, all the flavors you expect and more! Great atmosphere, family friendly. Custom pizzas to order. Table games to enjoy while waiting. Some of the best brewery food I have had in a long time!

I got the 2nd Ave Combo Pizza, substitute sausage for more pepperoni. This was my first time eating here, I got it to go. It was still delicious and fresh even as a to go order! Staff was very friendly as well.

Average service. Bartender was too preoccupied to take my food order. Manager got behind bar and had to do so. Was average.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I loved the atmosphere and the setup. The pizza was good but very spendy.

Now this is my place! Tried several other Spokane breweries. Cozy but expansive, service was great. Really enjoyed hazy IPA offerings.

Wooden City - Spokane

Honestly, Wooden City really lives up to its hype. It's an upscale spot right in downtown Spokane,…read morebut still feels warm and lively instead of overly formal. Definitely one of the best-quality restaurants in the city, where every dish was thoughtfully made and packed with flavor. What we ordered: Starters: - Spring Salad: Super fresh and well-balanced. The snap peas were crisp, with strawberries added for sweetness, and the goat cheese + pistachios gave it a creamy, nutty contrast. The lemon & tarragon vinaigrette tied everything together with a light, herby flavor. - Jerk Cauliflower: Crunchy cauliflower with Caribbean spices with a creamy jerk sauce, good as a side Appetizers: - Peel 'n' Eat Shrimp: Really juicy and spicy from the Cajun spice. There's butter to dip in but I found it too greasy and prefer lemon instead. - Blistered Hungarian Peppers: Smoky pepper with some sweetness and savory from the sausage and cheddar. Served with a toasted focaccia that soak up all the sauce. Main dishes: - Chicken Schnitzel: One of the must-orders. Crispy, golden breading, super tender inside. The lemon & caper butter sauce added acidity and richness that elevated the whole dish. Yoy have to order extra because it's never enough for the table. Yes, it's that good. - Marbled Duroc Pork Chop: Another favorite . Juicy and tender, with 'nduja salsa brava bringing a spicy depth, while lemon tahini and marcona almonds added creaminess and crunch. I always missed tasting this dish like my first time - Beet Ravioli: Earthy and slightly sweet flavor, nice texture but I hate goat cheese so I'm not really a fan of this dish - Pesto Bacon Pizza: Delicious crunch, loved the combo of mozzarella and gorgonzola, kind of creamy with a bit of funk. Balsamic do help balance and gave it a sweet tangy flavor, or else it would be too heavy for me (yes, not a pizza fan) Drinks & Dessert - Not Mai Tai mocktail: very aesthetically looking drink, but a bit too sweet to my liking - Apple crisp: cozy and warm, with baked apple & pecan crumble and served with vanilla ice cream on top. Delicious ice cream. - Pumpkin cheesecake: My 3rd favorite of the night, I still dream about it!! Rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, you shouldn't skip this!!! That said, I do have to take away a couple points for timing. Our foods took 45 mins to come out even though I had reservations and note the menu items via the email, and the wait time between each dish was also... very confusing. It broke the flow of our meal. But once the food hit the table, it was hard to stay mad, so I forgave them.

I feel like I just went to a dress rehearsal about a play about a group of friends who got together…read moreand said "How about we open a restaurant? That would be fun!" Tonight was just so strange. First, I had no idea who was an employee. There were two girls that were going around together over and over, they kept stopping at tables so I think they worked there...but they never had anything in their hands. Our server seemed to keep forgetting we were there. Or just forgetting she was employed in general. Seriously just not with it. She was very nice...when she remembered we were there. I will say the pizza crust tasted amazing. So many places that serve pizza think of the crust as just something to put toppings on, but this had great flavor. Sadly, it was rolled too thin and said toppings made it somewhat soggy. Caesar salad was ok. Romaine was really fresh and crisp and the homemade croutons were still a little warm. Very good. However, the dressing was rather bland. And when I asked for pepper for it, our waitress first had it in her head that I expected some kind of peppers on my salad. When she finally understood I meant black pepper, she went away. Eventually she returned. Not with a pepper grinder or a shaker, but a sauce bowl that had about 3 tablespoons of black pepper in it. I wouldn't use that much pepper if I cooked for myself for a week and used it with every dish. Had to ask for knives for some of people's meals. I will say the spicy lamb rigatoni was amazing, pasta just right and the sauce and flavor was peak. I am just not sure what to say, other than this was the strangest and most disorganized dining experience I have ever had. I think if a grown up showed up and brought the kids into line, this place would be amazing. Also, for what we paid, I expected to be wowed, not left wondering what I just experienced.

The atmosphere is really fun, there's things to keep the kids busy, TVs to keep the adult entertained, and just overall a fun environment. The service was fantastic. All the ladies that helped us out were amazing, referred to us by name which was a nice change. It was really great. We didn't wait too long for our food. It arrived fresh and hot and was delicious. We got fries, my daughter got a pepperoni bar pie (perfect for little eaters!!! And so cheap!!), our friends got the Honolulu hot Hawaiian pizza, we got Parmesan garlic wings, and the buffalo wings. Everything was so good. Their wings are the best wings in town, hands-down. And that pizza oh my God, I wish I had some more right now. We will definitely be going back.

The restaurant had a salad bar, large tables for big parties and a spacious dining area. There was a dedicated bar area, no minors allowed. There were lots of TVs playing sports, definitely a restaurant for any crowd. We ordered a large white pie and pepperoni pizza. The large pizza had 8 slices. My husband ordered a mug of blue moon. It took about half an hour to get the white pizza. We were almost done with the pizza, still waiting for the other one. My husband couldn't flag the server down for another blue moon for about 20 minutes. Another server got confused and tried to give another table our pepperoni pizza. The server took the pizza back to the kitchen and then came back to our table. It took almost an hour from arriving to get the second pizza. The white pie was overwhelmingly oily, too much cheese. The pizza was soggy and droopy because the cheese. The oil was dripping down our hands. The pepperoni pizza was better, classic and less oily/cheesy. The service was lackluster. There were only 2 servers, which was shocking for Sunday lunchtime. I would come back but not during the same time. The bill was $85. I didn't feel like tipping 20% after the service, but I did because I've worked in a restaurant before. I found it distasteful that there was an option on the menu, "round of beers for the kitchen $5." I tipped 20% that goes to the entire staff. I googled if that's a common menu thing at bars, it's not.

The restaurant itself is located at the bank of the river in Spokane, so it is in a nice, appealing location. The service was actually a lot faster than I had expected and at first, that made me a little bit more weary. I liked that I was able to order a slice of any of the toppings and I could order a whole pizza and have half of one kind of topping and half as another kind of topping. It allowed me to try three different toppings. The Green Goddess was excellent and I highly recommend it. The Sausage Arugula had really well made homemade sausage and I would definitely get it again. I also got the chicken pesto which was flavourful and also amazing. The pizzas were Neopolitan style and were cooked very well. Prices however are pretty steep for pizza. I had one whole pizza (two different toppings) and two slices and was close to $50. Definitely not somewhere I would go regularly because of how expensive it is, but otherwise the food is great!
