It was already late in the evening when we found Pine Ridge Campground on Google Maps and decided to take a chance. When we arrived, the office was already closed. A maintenance employee noticed us pulling in, stopped what he was doing, and took the time to hear our situation. He immediately contacted the property manager, and despite being off duty, she came to the campground, opened the office, found us a site, got us checked in, and made sure we were taken care of. The maintenance employee even had a golf cart ready for us to rent so we could get settled in quickly. That level of customer service is rare these days and made a lasting impression on us. We've now been here for three days, and everything about this campground has been outstanding. The grounds are exceptionally clean and well maintained, the facilities are spotless, and it's obvious the staff takes great pride in the property. Everyone we've encountered has been friendly, professional, and willing to help. The pool is excellent, the campground is peaceful and well kept, and the golf cart rentals are very reasonably priced. Most importantly, the entire staff genuinely seems to care about their guests and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. Whether you're looking for a long-term stay or just passing through for a few nights, I highly recommend Pine Ridge Campground. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we're in the area.

The staff and owners are all kind good folks. Got the propane tanks filled while here, the maintenance guy picked them up and dropped them back to me at my site in under and hour easy, and it was very reasonable. A fairly level gravel base site, with water, power and sewer all within a few feet of each other making hook up straight forward and simple enough. Low maintenance established landscaping between the sites adds some privacy. The pull through where we stayed in the park had a picnic table, along with a gas grill and a covered pergola with a bench swing in the front. All overlooking a field with horses. This is a solid choice for a park, safe and secure. Easy in and out, and good people. 4 Stars good for an overnight or longer 01275

There's an onsite bathhouse and laundromat too! I visited here today and as I've mentioned, I have an interest in alternative housing of all kinds. This place is dog friendly and has a fenced area for them to play in. It's within easy walking distance to a Dollar General Store! Quiet, friendly, and beautifully landscaped; this is a nice one!

The shower houses were absolutely awesome but not cleaned very often as I had to wash some hair dirt ect down the drain before I showered. Sites were EXPENSIVE compared to other campgrounds nearby with level spots. The park is under some construction so I hope they can figure out leveling the spots and the uphill septic but until then we will not be back. This has the potential to be the best campground around but it's just not up to that standard yet or worth the price paid for a spot at this moment.

The owners keep an eye out for any problems that are quickly delt with in a kind considerate manner. Being close to the interstate means that we are only minutes away from major metropolitan areas if we need to go shopping for groceries or other needed items.

I was booked to play a gig last Oct at Carolina Foothills Resort in Chesnee SC. CFR is a campground…read morefor nudists. I had been looking for venues where I could play outside and somehow or another Google led me here so I sent them a request letter. I quickly got an email back from CFR inviting me to come play, they had no problem paying my asking price. They even offered to put me up for the night. When we pulled into the campground, it just looked like a normal campground. Campers everywhere, kids playing, people on golf carts...then we passed by a naked guy washing his car. My wife looked at me with big eyes,said "That guy was naked!" and started to giggle. We checked in at the office, and the lady who checked us in, Bev, was fully dressed. We signed some paper that basically said we would behave, and were given a key to a cabin. We drove over and took our stuff in. I asked my wife if she was coming to the pool for my gig. She just laughed, gave me a kiss, and told me to go have fun. On the way out the door I stopped, looked at my wife and said screw it, and I got undressed. "When in Rome".... I'm not going to lie. I was not in my comfort zone. I was contracted to play from 3-6. Audience response was good. I got laughter at all of the right places, people came up to say hi and thank me for playing, people were dancing. I'd say the average age was mid 50s and up. There was every body shape and size you could possibly imagine. Stretch mark's, flabby bellies and boobs, saggy butts, old faded tattoos and when they start dancing all that starts moving around... But after 10-20 minutes something in your brain changes. You stop noticing all of that and you just see people enjoying themselves. At one point this young 25 year old woman with a perfect body, meaning not a blemish, not a scar, not a stretch mark, with great perfect muscle tone walked up and threw me a tip. Her nudity didn't even register, at least not in any sexual way. I noticed how nice her skin was. I was jealous of her youth, I noticed her smile and how warm and friendly she came across. Any sexuality related to nudity was simply non-existent. at some point later I was talking to one gentleman and remarked how incredible it was to see how accepting everyone was and how comfortable everyone was in their own skin. He told me "That's because we're all perfect just the way we are" He is right. After I was done with my gig (I played 2:45-6:15 with no breaks) I went back to the cabin where my wife was resting and we went to the bonfire. There were people there from age 20 to 70. Some wre nude, some were dressed. Being nude was no different that not being nude. Nobody acknowledged one or the other, except to compliment one of the younger girls on a pair of boots she was wearing. If you want to be naked, be naked. If you don't want to be naked, don't be naked. It was no different than wearing a ball cap or a watch. My wife is very modest and had earlier told me that she was not getting naked, no how, no way, simply ain't happening. CFR is CLothing Optional and the only places where nudity is required are the Hot Tub and the pool. We went to the hot tub and she got got naked and got in. A little later she got in the pool as well. A couple of people walked by and she tensed up, but she held her ground and walked thru her anxiety. Sunday Morning we awoke to rain. We decided to go hit the hot tub before leaving and once again she got nude. This time several people came by and they all thanked me for playing. The entire weekend (Sat noon - Sunday noon) the people could not have possibly been any more friendly and welcoming. They would make it a point to say hello, ask if we needed anything, people offered to feed us. It was the most welcoming, inviting, accepting group of people I remember ever encountering in the last decade or two. When we left I was a bit down. I wasn't looking forward to having to return to the real world, the one that makes you wear pants. Visiting CFR is a life changing experience. I don't know about any other resort, but when this one says it is family oriented, what they really mean is they treat each other, and the guests, like family. They are interested in you. They want to get to know you. The nudity is just an added benefit, the real draw here is the camaraderie, the sense of community. I guess the nudity helps to facilitate that but they treat the sense of community as the utmost, primary principle here. We have be come regulars here, visiting one weekend a month. Our favorite time to visit is in the winter. There are less people, Things are quieter and slower, The pool is closed, but the Hot Tub which is at a constant 104 degrees is always open That Hot Tub is something else.

Everyone made us feel so comfortable and like family. We were lucky enough to be there on Buff circle night and for a $20 donation we were able to eat all we wanted of some really delicious food.
