Enter River Pointe RV Park & Campground - A brand new midsize RV park currently boasting 55 level, roomy lots, designed by dedicated owners who are devoted to this gem of a park; The park is easy to get to in a scenic area near historic Morganton. The owners are very accommodating and I just can't say enough about what wonderful people they are. They've created a very nice, quiet park surrounded by untouched forest on 3 sides, above a scenic river. Beautiful lake, nice boat ramp and a small beach area. Bath houses are old need to be upgraded but had good hot water. Most of the camping sites are permanent sites. Only ten sites that rent. Any site you that you may rent are all great. Graveled full hook ups and picnic table. A nice tree at every site so you do have some shade. Not far to bathhouses. Will be going back there for a weekend.

Great opportunity to experience tiny home living in a beautiful country setting! Traditional RV sites and tent sites are also available. Weekday rates for the RV sites and tent sites start at 49.00 and 31.00 respectively. Weekend rates for these are also a bit more expensive. Many amenities here including a pool, camp store, and restrooms. If I understood correctly, with notice; hot tubs are available for rent. When she gave me my surprise and I realized the mistake I immediately contacted Broad River campgrounds to try to get a refund nobody answered the phone there were dozens and dozens of messages left by family members and even the owner of lake Hauser campgrounds himself stepped in to try to help us get a refund they ignored each and every message I finally got a hold of somebody in the office today for the first time and tried to get this problem solved and I was hung up on. Once I parked, I was not disturbed by anyone or anything. From the lot where I was parked, there was no access to the park's wifi but I had four bars of LTE on Sprint. The park's water was cold and clean. As clean as the stuff I get out of the tap at my own home. As I mentioned, lot 47 was quiet. It was also level and had a water tap, power hookup and sewer access. I hooked up when I arrived and had no issues at all. One note is that the Harris Speedway is about a mile and a half away. There was some engine noises one evening but it ended by 9ish.
