Made an appointment 6 weeks in advance for a general engine check up, a "grinding" noise when coasting between 20-40mph and to have the headlight assemblies replaced along with right turn signal wiring. Coming down from Alaska, I had sent the headlight housings and wires ahead of me so they would be there ready to install. Showed up on Tuesday 4/16am Was told that the grinding noise was probably the differential. The initial quote for $1200 to do, what I thought, was all of the work described seemed very reasonable. G texted Tuesday 4/16 afternoon that an updated quote was $2200, again.. thinking this was for all work previously described, seemed reasonable and I approved. The next afternoon, Wednesday 4/17 G called and let me know that my brakes were completely shot, needed all new rotors, calipers, brake pads and was quoted $11,000 to repair. Being from Alaska, I expect to pay premium on many items. When I called my local mechanic, he looked up all of the parts I would need and was told it was about $1100 in parts. Even with a 50% markup, I have a hard time believing that the labor to repair would be $9000. Now.. not being mechanically inclined but not dumb enough to fall for it, I said I would be picking the rv up in the morning and needed to decide about the brakes. Thursday am 4/18 I come in to pick up the rv, my bill for JUST the headlights, turn signal and whatever diagnosis was done was $2800... I was shocked. The extra $600 from my previous approval was for light bulbs that are $20.. I paid because I wanted out of there. To take advantage of someone who is on a time schedule, trying to drive home to Alaska, a female... is TERRIBLE business practice. I am so appalled that I paid $2800 for headlights. Had I a few tools.. something I could have done myself. The front of the RV is also damaged, from where the headlights were installed, cracks in the fiberglass front. Noticed at the time of pick up, but again.. because I was so throughly disgusted and wanted out of this business.. I chose to pay and leave. The bulbs are no brighter than the ones I came in with, which was disappointing. Also.. when I took the rv to another shop for a second opinion, the brakes were hardly worn, with only 36k on the engine these brakes were fine. They were dumbfounded your company said they were shot. Also to not warn someone with "shot" brakes driving away further shows that your company was trying to pull one over on me. Potentially if I had not said I was driving to Alaska, or not in time constraints or not female I would have been treated differently. Would be zero stars if possible. They were incredibly dishonest with their estimate and then the work they actually did. They charged us $700+ for an oil change as they did none of the other work they promised to do. If you must come here, be sure you get very clear direction as to what work they will be doing and how much it will cost BEFORE moving forward with their services. I recently took my Class A RV to JE-CO for an emissions test. I am very happy with the service and friendliness of the staff. The tech, Jason Jimenez, was friendly and knowledgeable. Held onto my unit for 2 weeks. Had a hard time reaching them and when I finally did they said nothing they could do and still charged me

​ Avoid JE-Co like the plague!!! 8/18, 5pm, called JE-Co.  They stated they accepted the Good Sam Extended Service Plan managed by Assurant.  They agreed to look at the problem that evening.  At 9pm, we arrived at JE-Co with several RV mechanical problems.  The problems consisted of a squealing A/C fan, a nonoperational generator, a leaking hydraulic line and an inoperable high speed windshield wiper setting.  By 11pm, they said they diagnosed all four problems.     8/19, 8am, JE-Co misidentified the correct replacement A/C fan motor twice before successfully installing the correct motor. They informed me the original diagnosis for the generator repair the night before was wrong, so the parts wouldn't be available until Monday.  We chose to wait on repairing the generator and the other repairs until we returned on 8/22.  In keeping with the service agreement, we would need to get the authorization on Monday, 8/21, for the repairs done on the weekend.  I requested they hold off on closing the repair ticket until we had the authorization for the fan motor and other repairs.  They refused, so I paid the full $566.50 even though Assurant later covered $70.14 + tax for the motor and $258.00 for the labor.    8/21, Although JE-Co agreed on 8/19 to obtain approval from Assurant they failed.  They dismissed my reminder and follow-up phone calls.    8/22, at 10am, we returned to JE-Co for repairs.  At 2pm, JE-Co contacted Assurant and received approval for the repairs.  JE-Co stated the insurance reimbursement labor rate of $129 didn't cover their rate of $155 and I would be responsible for the difference.    8/22, 10pm, JE-Co removed the wiper motor; repaired the hydraulic line and replaced the starter for the generator.      8/23, 7am, JE-Co informed me they misdiagnosed the wiper problem. They learned the problem was the switch, not the motor.  I told them I would have it repaired when I returned to Virginia.  They made me wait from 7am until 4pm before the technician reported to work to reinstall the wiper motor.    8/23, 5pm, JE-Co presented an invoice W10092 for $2,188.92 with an attached credit card receipt for $1,255.01 from Assurant's payment.  They told me I owed $861.11.  The $2,188.92 was substantially more than $1,592.80 initially approved by Assurant that included the A/C repair on invoice W10063.   Upon analysis, the -$337.79 difference in Assurant's initial authorization and amount of the credit card authorization is likely an adjustment for not correcting the wiper problem.   However, JE-Co was charging me for both parts and labor for repairing the wiper motor.     8/23, 6pm, I questioned the wiper motor labor and parts charge and the extra 2 hours labor for the generator.  I also pointed out I should be getting a refund for reimbursement from Assurant for the W10063 invoice. They said they needed to get the owner's approval for a refund the next morning.  I told them we'd need to resolve the refund via the phone because we were leaving the area.   8/24, I called JE-Co.  They told me I wasn't going to receive any refund for the first repair. They wouldn't discuss the $895 in excess labor and parts charges or why they charged me for 3 hours when the Assurant approval reflects they requested only 1 hour for the generator repair.  They told me if I wanted to get my refund I would have to dispute the charge.    8/25, I filed a dispute with American Express.  I determined the amount of the credit card dispute by subtracting the $100 deductible from the $330.94 that Assurant covered for the parts and labor for the A/C fan repair (W10063).  The $100 deductible could have been applied to the work performed on invoice W10092.  To avoid having the deductible amount as part of the dispute, I was willing to absorb the deductible as part of the first invoice amount.  Given the fraudulent charges on invoice W10092, the $100 deductible should apply to that invoice, not the first invoice.   11/2, American Express notified me I prevailed in my dispute against JE-CO.  They refunded the $230.94 that I requested.   ============================= Here's a warning to anyone seeking a repair from this "shady" shop.  If a technician doesn't complete a job on his shift because of needing a part or in my case, buying the wrong part, your vehicle will sit on their lot until the next day.  This is especially problematic if the work begins during second or third shift which determined entirely at their discretion regardless of when the vehicle entered the yard.   Sebastian - Dispatcher, Failed to follow through with his assurance he would get the warranty approval before we returned to have the RV repaired.  He "misrepresented" his failure to get approval stating it was due to the difference in the approved and charged labor rates.  G" - Manager, Overcharged me for amount of labor 2 hours above what they requested and received approval for and for labor and parts they didn't install. read more

I took one of my semi's to Jeco for a diagnostic check I was charged $148.00 dollars for this service when I was told the actuator's were not working. They charged my $1400.00 dollars to fix the problem and told me the truck was fixed. When I picked the truck up it made it about 20 miles away when the same problem with the engine cutting out happened again. They told me to bring it back and they would find the problem. When I took it back A sales rep named G told me there was no charge for looking it over again but that I needed to agree to them removing the valve covers, after doing that they told me it needed $7000.00 dollars more worth or work to fix it, so I went to pick it up then they told me I owed $600.00 dollars more for the diagnostic test...And when I asked what's the meaning of this G continued to lie to my face saying that this is what I preapproved after asking him if there was gonna be any other charges for looking the truck over a second time . And he kept saying no. Then when I asked to speak to the owner or manager they refused to speak to me and hid in the back. So between the lies and over charging I spent over $2000.00 dollars and still have a broken truck. If you take your equipment there to be fixed just know your doing it at your own peril...so be prepared to be lied to and over charged for work that won't fix the problem. Don't trust the owner Jim. He is a liar and makes empty promises. He hires uncertified guys and doesn't train them, and then assigns them to YOUR expensive truck, and STILL charges you the full rates. They'll charge you for premium oil, but that's not what actually goes in your truck. Don't get hosed -- read the reviews for yourself and take your truck to someone with a better rating. read more

Red Flag! DO NOT USE! We bought a recently retired ambulance from a firehouse and unfortunately ran into a hiccup where our driver all of a sudden lost momentum and acceleration, was able to pull off to the side of the road, and the engine died and he was un-able to restart the vehicle. JE-CO was the responding roadside assistance company and they hooked up their computer and determined it must be a high pressure oil pump. They did no checks of any other components, or fuel systems and just went off of what the computer said. They then said they would take care of everything and opted to tow it to their facility instead of the repair shop we had in mind. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, we allowed them to replace what they said was wrong, costing about $4.5K, then they said it still wasn't working so they needed to replace the IDM, which was going to cost us another $4.5k, when asked for the part numbers so we could do some research, they refused saying we don't give out our part numbers. They decided to try to "re-flash" the IDM, and was able to get it working but then they told me they had to repair/replace fuel injector #1. We asked them to do a full vehicle inspection to make sure the vehicle was road worthy and we were not going to have the same problem. After numerous repairs, we were told it was ready to be picked up, we drove the vehicle to car toys for some audio installation, and it broke down there with the same issues. JE-CO sent out a roadside service under warranty repair to try to fix the problem and then told me the "computer" is now saying it was injector #3 that went bad. They then on their own accord decided to tow the vehicle back to their shop without our permission, and replace an injector harness and add diesel to the vehicle, after they did this they told me I had to spend another $3k on other potential repairs. During our questioning of these events, we were called numerous vulgarities, insulted numerous times, and even were refused access to our vehicle until we paid for parts that were installed that we did not approve. I wish it ended there, I finally get the keys to our vehicle after being forced to pay, get into the vehicle start it up, pull forward 5 feet and it dies again. Can't get it started to even pull it out of their repair yard. We now have to have the vehicle towed to another repair shop because they are unwilling to honor their warranty and guarantee the work! So it turns out after all the "needed repairs" and JECO doing nothing but throwing parts. They completely missed the correct diagnosis resulting in a more reputable company having to replace the engine. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. read more

I spent over $4k for repairs. They didn't properly diagnose the problem but threw in over $2k part which was not the issue. Since the problem was not fixed and the van was doing the same thing I took it back to them few days later, not only they charged me again for the diagnostic fee but again didn't fix the problem. I finally took it to the dealer who was able to fix the problem. *I asked to speak with the owner but the manager refused to let me speak to him. They have poor communication as one of the service writer told me he will waive the diagnostic fee but the manager did not want to honor that. There are a lot more issues during my visit from pricing to not repairing the issue, customer service and the list goes on. I would not recommend them because they do not listen to the problem, not apologetic and poor work ethics. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Total crooks. Fit all of the horrible stereotypes you hear about mechanics and mechanic shops.They charged me $800 for an oil change. The only reason I paid it was because I thought they actually did the other work I asked them to do. And they wanted me to believe it was done. Nope. They just confirmed that all of the things I brought it in for were indeed broken and still not functioning when I left 4 days later. $170 to tell me that I needed new batteries. $340 to tell me my air conditioning didn't work. I asked for a refund and they literally told me to leave immediately. If you want a lesson on the wrong way to treat a customer and how a business rips people off this is the place for you. Total criminals! They were the only place in town that actually had availability. That should have been a red flag. I learned they tell everyone they have availability because they don't actually fix anything. They charge you for bogus hours. Will definitely be turning them into the BBB and NADA code of ethics. I've give this company about 3 jobs. First two were diesel emissions. At the time the height clearance is limited so if ur exhaust pipes are a couple inches higher then normal go elsewhere. The last job I gave them they decided to play the guessing game based of the ecm code solution steps. I believe there was 8 steps for my code. The problem is these guys don't have the experience or want to understand that you can jump in between steps to remove sep 4,5,6 leaving you with 50% less solutions. I'm sure from a business perspective it's better to try to complete as many solutions before finding the problem and charge for every step. The problem I had was with the dpf system automatically my mechanic told me it was the nox sensor but would have to force regen while checking with coumpter he was unavailable and I wanted to get home. Turns out the nox sensor was step 4. They called me 3 times to approve jobs. By there 3rd try I was at $4,000 with the same problem while they are calling asking to authorize step 4. I pulled truck out took it to my friend he forced regen and noticed the nox sensor was not performing normal. Pointed at the sensor and told me replace that one. Turns out it was a $300 sensor. Also the owner will buy parts and charge double for them. When I asked why are you changing $700 for nox sensor if its $300 at freightliner. His response was "you dont take eggs to dennys when you sit down and eat breakfast I have a business to run" I wouldn't reccomend this company. They have 3 shifts just robbing everyone. Everyone who's been in this industry knows mechanics overcharge and this company is definitely one to stay away from. I know at least 5 owner operators who have also got robbed from them. read more

This is the WORST place we have ever had to deal with- Over rated mechanics that don't know what they are doing. They claim to be certified Sprinter mechanics and we do not believe this is true. They broke a major part (Which did not even need to be repaired) on one of our business vehicles and made us pay for the repair. When the part finally arrived put part in, said they test drove it to make sure everything was ok (they didn't), I guess they don't realize that we track our trucks thru the elog and can tell when its moving and how fast....Driver picked up truck went about 2 miles and broke down AGAIN with the same problem he went in to the shop with.
