Now suddenly, if contracted through AAA, they say the road is not maintained and they can't service us unless an additional fee is charged. They never had a problem with the road when it was all dirt. Now it is mostly paved, and there's a problem? Excuse after excuse to not have to say we're greedy and AAA doesn't pay us enough. We put in a complaint with AAA, but I was angry enough to warn others of their lack of integrity. There's a nice, helpful company in Idaho Springs you can use instead, Big Daddy.

One of the few nearby companies who stated they had a multi-car carrier accessible without a day's wait was Field Spring Towing & Roadside. After arriving with the necessary tools, the driver carefully loaded both cars and inspected each one's rigging before departing. When they arrived, neither car had any problems. Before the carrier departed, the pricing was determined for each vehicle. The cost breakdown was visible to me, and the things that were moved were fairly priced. For the distance, the turnaround time from call to delivery was fair. Logistics are important when moving multiple vehicles in a single run, and everything proceeded without a hitch.
