This place is AWESOME! Just went back to fix a broken iPhone screen. Long story short we got the returning customer discount... major bonus points... plus the Yelp check in discount so yet another bonus. Phone was as good as new (actually better because no scratches on the glass) in literally 30 minutes. AMAZING! Will come back to for all my iPhone repair needs! Also another great tid-bit. I was looking at replacing my otter box because mine was chipping and I was suggested to just contact the company because they would replace it. You heard right, the employee directed me to replace it for free and not pay for a new one at their store... TALK ABOUT HONESTY. This is everything you want from a business. They were nice, didn't have what I needed at one store, but called around till they found it, sent me over to another store where they were expecting me. Repairs were swift. Everything worked great. Four instead of 5 stars just because they didn't have every single phone screen at each location. read more

I started out on a good foot (no pun intended) with my visit to this store by making it a part of my morning run. I grabbed my daughter's badly damaged iPhone 6s and ended up at this place based on yelp reviews. I presented the phone (of which I thought they were going to promptly shake their heads "no" and send me on my way) and the guy took a look at it, said "no problem " told me how much it would cost and told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. I walked to Whole Foods, bought an iced coffee, sat outside at a table and listened to a podcast. Thirty minutes later I made my way back to the store and they handed me a perfectly repaired phone. I checked in on yelp and got a little discount. No one tried to sell me anything else and no one told me that it would cost more than expected. It was a simple, honest transaction and I didn't have to give my money to apple. If you need an iPhone repair, go here. read more

I put my laptop there to replace a screen, they said it would be fixed in 2 weeks. 2 months later it's not fixed and I received zero information or communication. I'm taking the laptop back and bringing it somewhere else. Absolutely ridiculous I don't care if they make some honest mistakes or order the wrong parts or whatever but delaying for 2 months with zero communication is absolutely unacceptable for a business. Update: I got the laptop back, nothing changed, they gave some excuse like "the laptop is weird and the parts they ordered didn't work." Even if that was the case, they should've communicated. I took the laptop to another shop (Phone Repair Philly) and had it repaired in under 4 days and back to me. Don't waste your time here. read more

Honest and fair estimate of replacing the shattered screen on my iPhone XS Max. Phone was ready as promised. Will definitely use iRepair Works again!! read more

The guys there are super informative and friendly. I bought my PS4 to get the fan and interior clean up. Also to check on a minor issue where it always go safe mode when I turn it on. They were busy but will have it ready ASAP. I figured it'll take two to three days. Nope, it took them on day. They cleaned out the fan and interior. Then ran a diagnostic test and found it was the wire that connects to my 3TB drive.(external 3.5) It was a faulty wire and needed a new one. Sadly they don't carry it because it's a aftermarket not factory. The good thing is they found the issue and gave me some good advice. Great guys great work and great honest price read more

Phone made to look like new in the amount of time it took to get my nails done. Price was less than I expect. I hope I don't need to, but I'd come back. read more

Disclaimer: probably not a typical experience but indicative of service. Be careful of the owner. I came in just to get my laptop power button fixed. First, they told me it would take 2 days, which soon became 3, 5, and then 7 days. On the 7th day, I get a call that my laptop's been stolen. I had to call and negotiate with them three times to figure out how to replace the laptop. For a place that just lost a customer's laptop, I should not have had to go through the hoops and trouble that they put me through. They finally ended up purchasing another laptop for me. Came to realize it's a refurbished machine (normally understandable but the owner had agreed to purchase a new one for me) and it has proven to be buggy within a week. Again, this is probably not a typical experience but the owner is a shrewd businessman to be wary of. read more

Been to a few of these places and have had the best experience here. It may be a little pricier than others but they only use Apple parts for their work on iPhones. Very happy with their service. read more

My boyfriend took my ipad mini in for a backlight fix. He also brought the screen along just so the tech can make sure that the backlight does work. He did not ask the tech to place the screen on the board but the tech did it anyway. They charged me and arm and a leg for a quick fix but now my lcd screen is messed up and they would not fix it. The tech claimed that he noticed that the screen was bad but did not say one words to us. My thing is, if the tech noticed however many chips were broken when he went to fix the backlight and mentioned it to my boyfriend and gave him a price, you would think he would also mention about my lcd screen IF it was bad then. But no, he claimed that he had left a note about it and when we picked it up nothing was said to us. What kind of customer service allows their clients to leave without mentioning "oh btw, something else needs to get fixed". On top of that, the guy that I was speaking to was playing dumb, telling me that I must have called the wrong store when my boyfriend was in there for a half an hour arguing with them. But he was the same person who mentioned "oh you came in yesterday with him to pick it up". Never again. read more

As I sat in the waiting room, it's no wonder these guys can operate with an 11am-6pm schedule. Maybe Monday's are their most popular day (not that weekend drinking and dropping your phone have anything in common...) but there was a solid crowd of people dropping off their damaged goods. This place is amazing..30 minutes and $100 bucks later, my shattered iPhone is now back to functional! I walked in at 5:20pm and had my phone back in my hand by 5:50pm ready to go as promised. They did a great job... I just HOPE I don't have a reason to come back... read more

Great service at half the price of an apple store! I had totally shattered my screen and got it repaired for $100. My boyfriend had a scratch on his iphone camera lens, and they replaced his back piece for just $30. The guys were fast and friendly. I will hopefully not be going back (They also sell cases, so I got one of those to protect against future accidents!), but definitely will if I need them! read more

Wish I had known about this place sooner. Quick, effective, affordable iPhone repair with no-nonsense explanations as to work performed. I would recommend Philly IPhone repair to anyone. Tip: save money and have multiple repairs done at once. I had both the dock and battery replaced and saved 20% when having the work completed at the same time. read more

Brought a friend here who had a dead iphone & sprint was trying to get $100+ to even look at it. Less than ten minutes after walking in, these guys fixed a loose battery connection, the phone was working. And it cost all of $10. Cheaper than a trip to the Genius Bar. read more

My iPhone got some water damage at work. It still functioned fine but the screen had a lot of cosmetic damage due to the water. I tried the rice thing but it didn't really work. I took my phone to this place and they checked to see if there was any internal damage that would cause later problems, and they said there wasn't so all I would need was a new screen. (Thank God). New screen cost $110 (plus tax) which is kinda pricey but my phone is good as new and it took about 30 mins. They were very professional and polite. Would recommend to anyone. Convenient location as well -- 30 second walk from the Lombard South stop on the BSL. read more

Oh yes- Yelp just reminded me that I need to write a review for those folks. So here it is. Stellar, no frills service. This place is a god-send. I broke the screen of my iPhone TWICE in less than a week. Felt horribly ridiculous but they didn't judge. They work so fast but you'll leave with quality repair. Both times my phone was fixed in a half hour. I cannot go a day without my phone (with work emails and such flowing through) so I needed to get this fixed fast. Just a bit of a walk from my job in center city. I spent $140 for a screen replacement. There is a 6 month warranty on the work but not for physical damage. If there's a pixelated screen because of the screen replacement, they'll try to correct it for free. Of course it hurt to spend that amount of money twice, but what can you do. Getting a Lifeproof case ASAP. read more

Went here to get my iPhone 4 Lock/Power button repaired. It was fixed in about 30mins or so, even less i believe. anyway, these guys are awesome and comes with warranty. Fixed my phone twice in one week! First, I had a cracked screen. Once I had the phone home and looking perfect.. I washed it in my washing machine. I freaked out and left the phone in some rice overnight, which did nothing. I brought it back to Philly iPhone repair the next day and my phone was working within a few hours! read more

Great service! Brought an Android tablet with a broken charging port. They had the part in stock, repaired it for only $65, and the fixed tablet was back in my hands in a couple hours. read more

I am highly disappointed with service after my initial interaction with the company was splendid. The second time I called on their services it was two weeks before status was updated when I had to call them. They claimed they were waiting for parts to arrive, not a problem. Two more weeks passed and I attempted to call but could not leave a message because the mailbox was full. I called again a few days later to leave a message and the voice mail informing that the store was closing early was nearly a month old. I decided to call back and leave a message anyhow, someone picked up and told me they could not fix it. I usually don't fill out reviews but the service was so poor in somany aspects I felt compelled to respond. Despite the wonderful treatment I received in my first experience, I would not use them again. read more

These guys are great. I went twice and both times they got my device fixed quickly and were pretty cheap. Replacing my iPhone camera was $80 and installing a MacBook battery is $140. They went out of their way to make sure I got my MacBook back the same day, I really appreciated that. read more

I stopped by since it was next door to my son's barber. My son's phone had lost mobile data (signal) and we tried troubleshooting thru the provider with no luck even after resetting the network settings multiple times. So they (the provider) wanted to send a replacement but due to my son having a small chip on the phone, it voided the warranty. Long story short...we took the phone into here and he said we ahould try updating or doing a factory reset. So we backed up everything, went into settings, clicked on Software Updates and once it was done and rebooted...SIGNAL WAS BACK!!!! They saved me a few hundred bucks!!! If I need a nice condition backup phone, I won't hesitate making the drive to iRepair!! read more

I'm really disappointed on their service and also their quality. I just got my new screen replaced for a month and the screen is starting to strip off 1 side of the phone (I can slip my nail into it). It would not possible to happen if they are professional technology. Email them and did not get any response. This is my first time and I don't mind how much as long as the quality is good. Looking for the reviews on yelp and thought their service would be good and here we're, it turned out as nightmare. I paid $98 dollars and did get nothing. Your phone will not have any warranty. For my experience, don't trust these reviews, guy, your money deserves more than that. read more

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about this review; about a month and a half ago, I had a broken yet totally usable Minidisc recorder I wanted to get repaired. Called these guys up, explained the problem, took it down there and they fixed it (yes, they are electronics geniuses!) I know Minidisc is an older technology, but I have a lot of vintage recordings I've done and I've been meaning to transfer them (plus, it's a lot cheaper than DAT and the quality is virtually the same really.) Anywhoo, it took them two days to fix it, and now, it works like brand new; again, I say thank you Philly Iphone Repair for another great job (3-0 so far; if only the Phillies can emulate what you guys do! hehehe) :) best, Mike read more

Fast, fairly-priced, and with a warranty. What more could one ask? Delighted to find them, and within walking distance (South and Broad).

I would not recommend going to this place. I went here to get my Sony Xperia Z screen fixed. The glass on my screen was not at all scratched or cracked!!!! The digitizing screen was the one that was broken. They said it would be 3 days that became 4 to 6 to 2 and a half weeks. When I got my phone back 2day later I had a scratches on it. There is no reason for my phone to have scratches on it. I took the phone back they said oh you did it with your keys. They said it was an original SONY SCREEN. They lied my Sony screen never scratched in fact he gave me the old screen back and me and my friend repeatedly went over it with keys and chargers IT DID NOT SCRATCH MY OLD SCREEN. I asked them where did they get my replacement screen from they said SONY they lied. If they got it from SONY it would have the SONY logo at the top. MURAL OF THE STORY THEY LIE AND USE KNOCK OFF PIECES to replace your item. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.... NOT GOOD QUALITY!!!!!! read more

My iphone 4s died on Fridayand I though I plugged it into the wall and my computer with 2 different Apple brand cords, it would not charge. I though the battery or motherboard died inside and I'd lost everything (well, except for the last back up) I found this place on google, went down to the University City location and Parshwa had replaced the battery connector and had my phone charged to 23% and working again, all for $54 Thank God I did not have to get another 2year deal and a whole new phone again! I'm glad to have a place I can visit instead of sending it through the mail. read more

Good service. Dropped my iPad off and got a call a few hours later it was done. Definitely would use again.

Thanks to this store for fixing my phone every time I break it within an hour.

My iPhone 4S screen cracked . Although I have insurance, I really didn't want to spend the $$ to replace the whole phone. I found this store online, and the reviews were good enough that I decided to try them. i didnt realize how many of their reviews yelp filtered out. Bringing your phone here is taking a CHANCE. its very clean and neat inside the waiting area but i should have paid more attention to the work area in back. Everything seemed fine when I picked up the phone an hour later. However, when I went to take a picture with the camera app it ceased to work. I know the camera was working cause I had taken a pic only hours before dropping the phone off. I tried deleting old pics to free up some space and I tried restoring the phone to factory settings, still no good. After waiting a few days hoping it would start working again i took the phone to the Apple store. The first Genius I spoke to told me that the screen was changed by a third party,I didnt say anything about it but they could tell because it wasn't an original apple screen. After they saw how upset i was another genius technician took my case and checked the phones camera. he found the problem and said the way it was damaged could only have happened during the repair not from me dropping it. It can't be fixed because there is damage to the actual internals of the phone not the camera itself. So now i need a new phone and im out over $100 for the screen repair. read more

Even though they could not fix my water damaged iPhone I am still a fan of this place. The guys who work here were very helpful and patient. I came in last Saturday with my iPhone and they fixed it in 2 hours. My phone was working great until my battery died. I tried charging it but it wouldn't work. I called the store after they closed and I was surprised and relieved someone answered. He was very friendly and said I could come back in on Monday. Over the weekend, I decided I just wanted a refund. Without hesitation, he gave me a refund. Philly iPhone repair has fast and friendly service. read more
