If I could give both IRA Lexus sales AND service zero stars, I would. 1. I wondered why they wanted me to bring a personal check when picking up the car I purchased. The reason? The $34k cost (after trade-in) I agreed to ballooned to $41k when the business manager stepped in. I thought I had refused every extra warranty but I get not. Good thing I took a photo of the "internal" sales doc I signed originally. After seeing $7k of added costs on them three different lines, I pulled up the agreement in my phone. He was caught and Poof! and the cost went back down to $34k. I have an MBA from Harvard so I'm not an idiot. They are just underhanded, plain and simple. 2. I wanted a roof crossbars and they referred me to parts & service. I went online and ordered from "IRA Lexus Danvers" OEM crossbars for $360. They came without installation instructions, just a blurry one-page photocopy of removal and re-installation with no reference to the nicely color-coded and Letter-coded pieces. So I asked service to put them in when I visited to get my inspection sticker. They asked for $99 to install. I was furious. If you don't give proper instruction on a somewhat complicated installation, you should be willing to help install. They would not even take a refund because the lady in parts said that's a "3rd party". I called customer service in the email I got when I ordered the part and it rang right to their phone. Still no refund offered. Finally, a parts guy printed out installation instructions which were actually legible and referred to the stamp on the parts. Well, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Guess this is what it takes to get some service at IRA Lexus. PLEASE GO TO WATERTOWN LEXUS OR TO A NEW HAMPSHIRE LOCATION. There are better places to buy what is otherwise an awesome car. Horrendous customer service!!! Steer away and find another dealership that will treat you right! I've never been treated so poorly when trying to spend so much! Sunday, the 17th I stopped by to check the Lexus GX460 with my son. After a brief wait I was greeted by a nice salesman Jake, who offered to show me the car and help with test drive. I'm in the early stages of screening the market for a new car. My wife's lease will be up soon and she liked the GX among other large SUV's. After test drive we got down to the financial part where I asked about a lease offer that Lexus.com has listed on the website for $449.00/month (terms and conditions may apply) we all know that. Long story short, I had to wait at the salesman's desk for him to go to the manager to get the numbers. Among other things I asked about, money factor (APR), residual value, multiple security deposits, MSRP, if selling price was negotiable, if there are any incentives, etc. The salesman left and was taking longer than usual so for that reason I told him that he can email me all the specs. When I was ready to leave, the sales manager rushed through the door intruding himself also promising that he will send along info requested. Monday I get a follow up email with nothing but a greeting and another promise. I replied back asking a detailed price quote and never heard back from anyone. By Wednesday I emailed back the sales Mayans cc'd the general manager. As of today I'm still waiting to receive an email. Salesman called and said over the phone that this dealership does not send price quotes to clients by email because they fear that a client may go to another dealership to try to beat their quote. This is plane stupidity and an easy way to loose a customer. Any other dealership I purchased or made inquiries with had no problems sending me information by email. It almost seems like they try to wrap your head around so bad throwing numbers at you and rush you into making a decisions. A price quote was disclosed over the phone in a voice mail and none of the information required was provided. Dear General Manager, if you are not in the business of selling/leasing cars you should close the doors of your dealership or simply release from duty people working in your establishment who refuse to do the job. The only reason I walked into your dealership is because I wanted to do business with you, but being treated like that, I doubt it. Brought my Ford F150 in for service - new tires - as I received a great deal from Ira. I was offered the option for wheel alignment, which I said yes to, but because the truck was too big for the alignment machine, alignment was not possible. That makes sense because Lexus has no full size pickup trucks. The Service Department did an awesome job with the installation of the new Michelin tires. Ira went the extra mile to clean and polish the inside of the rims for no charge. Who else does that? No one that I know. Checkout was quick and easy. To my surprise, Service also washed and vacuumed the truck without charge. Met many great people in the Service department who were very helpful and informative throughout the entire process. I recently purchased a RX350 from Ira Lexus. I purchased my previous Lexus from Lexus of Watertown and was more than pleased with the experience there, so Ira had a tough act to follow. I worked with Chuck Festa and I absolutely loved his laid back approach. I don't think he was pushy with me once throughout the entire several weeks of dealing with him. Good salespeople know their audience, and an overly pushy salesperson is enough to make me run in the other direction. My husband and I took multiple models and years of SUV's on test drives, which couldn't have been fun for Chuck to have to put up with, but he didn't show any degree of annoyance or aggravation with my husband's multiple requests. When they didn't have exactly the right model (year/color) I was looking for, I left and let them know to contact me if they found one. Sure enough, I got an email from the sales manager Willy Moy a few days later following up on the experience. I appreciated the email correspondence with both of them, as it was easy to communicate my preferences and concerns back and forth during a busy workday. Willy was able to pull the car I was looking for off the loaner fleet. It was exactly as I had hoped for. After a thorough examination, they tackled everything on our list of "to-do's" before selling me the certified pre-owned vehicle. I found both Willy and Chuck to be a pleasure to negotiate with (as pleasurable as this whole experience can be.) They were direct, and honest, and for lack of a better word- did not bullsh*t us in the least bit. I look forward to doing more business with them in the future. read more

I recently took over her car and went to get a check up and it was the worst customer experience I've ever dealt with. None of the physical work that was supposed to be done with the car was done. When asked about it in-person they said the gave me a discount off, which I later found out was not true. They double charged me for services that were part of the package I paid for and when I called to complain all they only offered me is a partial credit, no refund, for the work they did not do and admitted they did not do it right. I hate the idea of car buying just as much as anyone else but Kal and Brandon are truly exceptional. My lease was up and I was trying to decide between purchasing my vehicle or leasing a new one, especially with how the market has been. Kal was very efficient but took time answering my questions. He showed me multiple different options and colors so I could see them in person. He was incredibly patient as I took an excessive amount of time deciding what was the best option for me. Although "Customer Service" condescendingly replied to my review they would not give me a name or contact to discuss this further or "fix the issue" as they say on their other half-hearted responses, I would like to respond and point out: 1.) The customer service reply stated they refunded my purchase- this was only after many calls and me having to argue with them because they said they would not accept the return and claimed the body damage (although not significant) was likely my fault. They were not willing to refund my purchase until my husband got involved and called them out on their lies. Eventually, they cowered down and apologized to my husband for lying about emails they said they sent and didn't. I guess these men thought they could take advantage of a woman? I ended up losing $3000+ on this unfortunate purchase because they forced me to use their shipping company so I had no control over the price. 2.) He claims their certified mechanics reviewed the vehicle and it was "100% safe"??? Yet when I was arguing with Ahmad Khraibi because he wouldn't allow me to return the car he said that as used car dealers they did not care about the condition of the cars as long as the mechanic says they pass, it is the buyer's problem as soon as it leaves their lot. 3.) They say "what occurred here" is "hear say". This is yet another lie from this awful group of people. I have posted pictures to show what the condition of the car was. Just as I stated in my original review they are lying. Why would I pay over $3,000 to return this junk car if this wasn't a real issue? 4.) The company immediately dropped the price of the car for resale after I shipped it back to them because they knew they messed up. I only hope no one else bought this car and it was sent to auction like they say they do for cars that are not up to their standards (which from what I have seen are very low). 5.) He claims this "undercarriage rust is common in New England and 100% safe"- how about the excessive rust damage to the engine cradle, transmission cradle, entire exhaust system, entire brake system and all the suspension components? Every single bolt under the hood was rusted too including the spring that pops it open. I understand that used cars and cars from the north have rust- that is not the issue. The issue is that I specifically asked multiple people at this dealership about rust and was guaranteed every time that the car had NO rust. My problem is that they flat out lied then gave me the hardest time when I wanted to return the car and they refused. Not to mention the car had very obvious body damage all over that was not shown in the pictures (attempted to cover up with poor quality repairs), would not start, was missing all of the floor mats and a set of keys... As "Customer Service" said- lesson learned, never buy a car without personally inspecting it because scumbag dealers will lie even if you ask them direct questions about the condition and leave out important information to benefit their horrible company. Hopefully, Ira is using this as a "learning experience" as they like to say. I would recommend Ahmad Khraibi, Steve Mathieu, Mark Gordon, Michael Walsh, Willy Moy and anyone else who lies, cheats and takes advantage of car buyers for their own selfish reasons reassess their life and occupation due to their lack of integrity and common decency. read more

I went in thinking they would be willing to negotiate on the price of their vehicle. The car I wanted was a 08 Lexus IS250 AWD. Sticker price on the lot $27k. Other dealers were selling the same car for $21 or $22k and lowest I saw was $19k for same car. They refused to budge on the price whatsoever. I asked for an evaluation of my trade in, they said it was junk and they would do me a favor by throwing it away for me but that they could not give me anything in return for it. I ended up buying the exact same car elsewhere for $8k below what Ira was asking with 30k miles less on it and I got almost a $1000 for my trade. My husband and I went to 4 different Lexus dealerships in eastern Ma. I think all the dealerships were great being that the representatives pride themselves in service and brand. I'll throw one under the bus though: Watertown Lexus could use a someone with better jokes. The sales person made a "joke" to me telling me to go shop somewhere else b/c they weren't the first place I visited. Whelp their wish came true. Okay back to IRA Lexus, it was my last stop due to me being in the southshore/boston area. By the time I visited them I had a pretty good idea of which vehicles I wanted. That morning I test drove both the RX350 and MDX. My husband and I then left to eat lunch and deliberate. After lunch, we made the decision to go with the Lexus. We had gotten numbers prior to entering IRA from all the dealerships so we were prepared to accept if we received comparable numbers. We met with Mike for the test drive and Nick to complete paperwork. Everything was smooth and relaxed. We never felt pressured into making a decision. Fast forward to the next day I picked up the new vehicle. I also had my vehicle to trade in. Again, Nick handled everything quickly and smoothly. The only sadness was me saying goodbye to my vehicle as I drove home in my new RX. I hope everyone visits IRA and had a great experience like I did. If I had to throw in a critique I would say the showroom is on the smaller side. There were side entrances that I used b/c I didn't know there was a main entrance. Overall though, what matters most is I got the car I wanted at a competitive price so how the showroom looks is not important. read more

I purchased my leased Lexus back in March and being that this is a new purchase I wanted them to upgrade the GPS system as it's basically useless. It does not understand any commands and I end up using the GPS on my phone. For such an expensive car and a new purchase you would think they would upgrade the software at no cost at least the first time after a purchase. I've called the manager and he said someone would get back to me and they never have. I've called Toyota financial and they said I had to deal with corporate. Was working with Mike Walsh who knew I was helping my mother in law and kindly added a discount of $488 bringing the price of the 2020 ES 350 to 36,500. I explained I was an hour away and would head there to look over the vehicle and purchase. We arrived 10 minutes early and were brought to a salesman who informed us that the car we wanted was out on a test drive and had to wait to see it if would sell. They told us we would get the car then proceeded to make us wait another 20 minutes probably to try to sell another vehicle. While understand it was a busy Saturday and money talks so to speak, he could not hold the car for 1 hour! Always after the profit and the sale, thinking nothing of my time. Whoever bought VIN 58ADZ1B10LU071073 did not get my discount. The very next Lexus dealership we went to we purchased a similar car in cash. Not sure how this place acquires/retains customers. Was approached by Saena and we ended up spending the afternoon looking at different cars, models, etc. Saena was really easy to deal with and quite funny as well. We almost bought a car from Ira Lexus Danvers today. I say almost because everything was going fine until the 'business managers' got involved. They screwed up what was going to be an easy sale. First they ultra-lowballed my trade in, offering about 1/3rd of of its value. Then when I said I would sell it myself, they said I would be subject to Massachusetts Lemon Law - which is wrong - only dealers need to comply with lemon law. Finally when we asked for financing options, it felt like we walked into an alternate dimension where numbers and math took on a different meaning. Business Manager #1 came out, started fast talking and saying he didn't know what rate we would qualify for. Then he works up a grid of payments, based on down payment and term. We asked what the interest rate was. He contradicted himself twice before confirming the rates. Then we checked his math - and the rates were 2-3% higher than what he told us. Polite savvy saleslady ditches BigMgr1 and replaces him with BizMgr2. Now BizMgr2 is a little more transparent, but when asked he said the interest rate was 6%. We said no, it's 6.99%. "Yeah well that's 6. We round 6.99 down to 6". Huh?? Is this Ira-math?? Oh Good Lord. This was a slam dunk cakewalk sale. We loved the car. Dealer just needed to be honest and not twist things. We walked out. Then savvy saleslady comes running out when we're about to drive away for a Hail Mary, offering to knock $2K off the price. No thanks! Can't be trusted. I am not your typical service customer as I am very mechanilu inclined and do a lot of my own mechanical work. So when I bring it in for service it usually a very involved repair that requires. Sometime I bring it in just for the diagnostic to see if its something I can do myself. Richard Chase was service advisor and he was awesome as I worked him like a dog and he still smiled. I had very specific questions about the work that needed to be done and wanted to see for myself. Rich was very good, while he called to report the intiap findings I had several very specif questions that he got answered for me through the tech. When I arrived at the dealership to see for myself he broughte right out into the shop to show me my car and to meet with the tech that was servicing my car. I've nothing but good luck with service here and bought a few things from parts without issue either. read more

First and last time I will go to this location. I went because they had a coupon for oil change for $39.95. When I pulled up the valet guys were all sitting around talking instead of coming over to my car and asking me if I needed assistance/needed an appointment. As soon as I sat down with the service advisor he was trying to "up sell" me into to getting "brake fluid" done for $150 bucks. Without my car even going to back first....I told him I needed front brake and I would wait on that service. He said it would be $50 for my car (6 cylinder) not $40 because....okay. Seeing as this was my first time there you'd think he show me or take me to the waiting area...nope! He later came in the waiting area while I was making a cup of tea, I asked him how to work the machine and he just open the spot to put the tea and said "come see me after you've had your tea".....when I did go to see him, he had an old couple was in his office, he walks them to the waiting area and made them a cup of coffee! Okay...not cool When I get my car back I get no notification of any "needed" repairs but I know for a fact that I have a few outstanding "minor" issues from a previous dealership giving me the printout. When the valet brings the car, he didn't drive it all the way in to the "drop-off" location,he just left it at the entryway got out and walked away.... The service at Danvers Lexus is just POOR POOR POOR all across the board...... read more

I've been shopping for a used car for almost two months, and needless to say, it's been an exhausting ordeal. Unfortunately, visiting dealerships as a lone female often comes with the expectation that you aren't as capable of negotiating and buying a car as a man is, which is what I experienced at the majority of the places I went to. Additionally, I am an Aspie, and that comes with its own challenges because I don't like making eye contact and I can get frustrated and irritable really easily when I'm under stress. So being swindled and pushed and outright lied to for entire afternoons on my days off from work have not been the best for my overall health, to say the least. :) But working with Ira Lexus Danvers was the easiest and best experience I've ever had purchasing a car, and I wish I could properly express my gratitude towards the staff and my sales consultant Mark Gordon for treating me with dignity and respect. I only had to spend two hours at the dealership to test drive and complete my financing, and between Wednesday when I visited and today when I picked up my new (used ) car, they were incredibly helpful and pleasant when dealing with my insurance and registration issues. I knew exactly what I wanted, researched for months and even test drove the car at a different dealership first (if it weren't for the judgmental salesman, I probably would've gotten the car there) Luckily for Ira of Danvers, my decision was made before I walked in the door and I had my checkbook with me ready to sign, it was just a matter of how the package was sold. I'm glad I came here because Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with. He made the whole process so easy for me. It was honestly like hanging out with a friend all day, not someone who's selling me a car. I think what I appreciated most was the fact the first thing out of his mouth wasn't about my income or how much I can afford. Being a 25 year old girl walking into a Lexus dealership by myself looking for a brand new car, I understand the judgment.. but keep it to yourself until it's time to talk about money. I brought in my RX in for 50K service. Next morning there was a puddle of oil under my car. Car has not dripped any oil until that morning. Brought the car back in and they said oil pan screw was stripped and that I would need new oil pan ($850). I had 40 K service performed by another Lexus dealer previously and they blamed the other dealer for stripping the screw. I had never lost a drop of oil previously yet they blamed the other dealer? I spent $2800 the day before at Ira for 50K service, brakes, tires, etc. and now they want $850 for an oil pan. I had no choice but to have the oil pan replaced. I have purchased 3 LX450's and an RX from Ira sine 2000. They have lost a long-standing, loyal customer, they won't be seeing me again! read more

My husband and I were looking for our compromise car going from 2 cars to 1. We researched and narrowed it down to 2 cars-each favoring a different one. We nded up choosing a Lexus Nx300 (husband's 1st choice). Love the car!..but sales experience was vastly different. We wanted info to look over at home to make final decision.The other maker dealership, had car fax report (both cars 2020 with under 10k miles) and copy of list posted on car of all features without our asking. Salesman there was very pleasant, respectful and low key. He also sent us trade in by email as requested. IRA Lexus, salesman was pushy and not willing to give information easily. When asked about getting car fax and copy of fact sheet on the car, he called for manager to sit and talk. They engaged in bad wife/marriage jokes since we had different preferences.We didnt sit and said we would go home and salesman could send us info by email including trade in value. I emailed request again and had to call to request he respond to email. Then manager called saying he was told we wanted to buy the car. I said we wanted information requested. We finally got most info (not copy of actual fact sheet on auto, but list of standard and options). Despite this, we went with Lexus because the car was better for husband's need. I set up an appointment to have repair/replace the plastic beneath the front bumper which had minor damage, with scheduled a loaner car. I arrived to drop off my car at the service department and after beginning the process of dropping off my vehicle and picking up the loaner, I was told I actually needed to go to the Ira collision center. Fair enough. I went over to the collision center, where the extremely rude woman behind the counter informed me that I did not have an appointment, and there was a wait period of over a month. I showed her my scheduled appointment with my confirmation code and advisor, Michael Walsh. The unpleasant woman simply replied "I don't know him". She offered no additional assistance or guidance and was impolite during the entire interaction. The fact that nobody seems to know what's going on at the service center or the collision center is pretty disappointing. I used to go to Ira Porsche before it closed, where I had always received impeccable service. Ira Lexis is clearly a far cry from that. This is the closest Lexis dealership to my home, however I will unfortunately have to find another dealership, which has its act together. read more

I would give this a 0 stars if I could brought my Lexus rx350 here for cosmetic repair on a passenger door dent. I was told it would take 5 days. Instead it took 24. Upon pickup I found them jump starting my car, zero gas in the tank, and a shorted out sat/nav/ radio system. They also charged me for detailing (119$) that was never done. The car never left the lot from there. The Mikes at collision waived any knowledge of how this happened and sent me to the service dept( who were very nice) it's been a week and Ira wants me to pay $3000.00) to fix the system they broke. Let me just for starters, start by saying Friday the 13th was for sure one of those days!! Michael Carbone and Joan Smith you both made what was a horrible day turn out to be a great end of my day! I was on my way into Ira Lexus Danvers to finalize my trade for my new vehicle and my lovely car broke down! After leaving my car on the side of the road for three hours and getting to Lexus I spoke to Joan the service manager and explained my dilemma with no hesitation she promptly said "Let me see what I can do" and let me just say she sure did "DO!" She grabbed her Shop Foreman, Michael Carbone and Obi (I believe that's his name) and got me into a shuttle provided by Lexus, and the three of us drove down to route one not once but twice- yes I said TWICE (because the first time we went down the car now wouldn't start- what a surprise, again keep in mind it was Friday the 13th). At this point I threw in the towel and was just going to say forget it all, but Michael was oh so generous when we got back to Lexus he requested of Joan to go back out and jump my car and the second time was indeed a charm! He (Michael) got into my lovely vehicle (May it rest in peace lol) and drove it right down to Ira Lexus! And because of this I was able to seamlessly trade in my vehicle for my brand new baby that day! Again Joan and Michael I truly appreciate all your help and extended efforts that day to make me a happy camper- I wish Ira Lexus a great year in sales and service XOXO! read more

This is the third time I've been to Ira Lexus in Danvers. I'm usually a fan of dealer auto shops because even though they're a bit more costly, they're the experts and get the job done quickly. The first time I came to Ira I was met with a great experience. This year, twice, it's been the most horrid experience x 2. I went in for an electrical problem and was quoted on about an 8k job when all was completed. Absolutely ridiculous. Even further insult to injury is the fact that when I said I needed to think about whether or not I was going to spend that kind of money on my loved but old car, I was told to immediately bring back the loaner car. My car, when picked up, was not vacuumed and what makes my dealings with this dealership even worse is they left the area under the hood in disarray. The battery ended up dying due to the connections being left loose. Also one of the compartment's that house one of the ecus was left open and unshielded from the elements. How completely unprofessional! I drove the car home and parked it. It then needed to be towed to the dealership after not being able to start it and the wheel locking. Remember the loose battery connections? I had the car towed their facility and was going to have half the work done. I then received a call that my car needed to be towed from the dealership's parking lot to the service bay and that they don't have tow trucks on site. I'd have to call triple A to have it towed from the parking lot to the service bay. Does this sound incredulous to you? Because it did to me. Lastly. On top of the steeping several k's they already quoted me- I was told I'd now have to add $400 to that bill for a diagnostic service. This is on top of my tow bill. Ok. This is the last straw. Stay far far away. I don't know what's been going on this year, but if you value honesty, respect, and great service, this isn't going to be the place for you. read more

I had a great time working with Mark Driscoll, when buying my pre-owned Lexus. Though this was the first car I test drove, it had many of items I was looking for in a used car and a price that I was really surprised to find available at a known and reputable new car dealership. I really liked buying from a dealer who's been in the area for decades and the experience has been excellent. We noticed that the car needed a routine maintenance repair made when I bought it and the though I was able to leave that day, Adam and Mark from the service department scheduled my car for the service, explained what was being repaired and had me back on the road with impeccable friendliness and a great loaner in the meantime. I'm glad that I bought my car from Ira Lexus and would recommend them others. read more

I must say that my experience here greatly exceeded expectations. I ended up at this dealership by accident (due to serious car trouble with an "advanced age" car that happened to coincide with a trade-in opportunity). So I have now dealt with both the service department (Rick, for my 2005 Lexus RX 330), and sales (Gil, for my 2012 certified RX 350). The people here are professional, helpful, and kind. After I decided to trade my car in, Gil went above and beyond to help me find the right car for me. He was kind and really cared about building a relationship with Ira Lexus and me. I HIGHLY recommend working with him. It sounds strange to say that I now feel loyalty to a car dealership, but that's the truth. If I'm in the market again, I will head straight back here.
