IPIC is a perfect date night. You can have dinner while watching a movie. Parking was free and easy in the parking structure. You can enter the theatre from the parking garage. The theatre itself is gorgeous. It doesn't feel like a movie theatre at all. Service was impeccable! The servers responded quickly when the service button was pushed. The food was top notch. The filet mignon sliders were something you would get in a 5 star restaurant. The drinks were very good too, especially the espresso martini . Perfect night out.

Upgrade to a movie experience. Perfect for a date with pod seating. Automatic 18% gratuity added to your pod service. Blankets are provided on request. Food is above expectations with beautiful decor!

This is my 3rd time going to IPIC. I'm not a huge fan of movies but if I go to a movie IPIC would the one. I love the reclining seats, the blanket, and the bathrooms are very clean. The Parmesan truffle topping added to the popcorn was perfect! My only complaint is the whole experience is very pricey. But I guess you get what you pay for.

My go to place when I want to see a good movie and be comfortable. The menu selections are great and the reclining seats are awesome!

Over $100 and the seats are ripped. Would not recommend. Star Cinema in City Centre offers better for same price

Safe to say I'm ruined when it comes to movie experiences. The private cubbies, food service, blankets and seating is IT FOR ME! I went 3 times in one week after finding out about this place.

It's still perfectly acceptable but has defintiely gone a bit downhill since it's been open. It's still a slightly better experience than a regular movie theater, but has fallen behind some of the similar dine-in options like Alamo Drafthouse. It may be in need of a revamp sooner rather than later Price: Being in the river oaks area it is a bit pricier for tickets. The food is priced reasonably though Food: They have the usual food fair. Everything is pretty good but nothing is particularly mind blowing to me. They have a button at each seat pairing to call your server. Each seat pair shares a table which can be a bit limiting depending on how you're ordering. Seats: The seats recline fully and you do get a blanket. The blankets are not as nice as when they first opened. I do love that they have a divider between each seat pair so you have a bit of separation between guests. Overall space: The space is starting to show its age with scuffs and cracks around. Especially noteworthy was the entry to the women's restroom no longer has a glass door and has a little black curtain hanging in it's place.

Ipic is such a comfortable and upscale theater. The seating inside the theater is comfortable and feels semi-private because of the two seat booths that are partitioned off. If you are a solo movie goer like me this can be awkward if someone books the adjoining seating because they are pretty private and intimate. This place is great for date nights. Dine-in, drink, and snack while you watch the movie or you can dine-in and drink at The Tuck Room. I didnt eat food off the menu because me and a friend had dinner reservations but we shared churros (which were amazing), m&ms, and we each had our own tub of popcorn. I had the cheddar (i loved) and she had the truffle parmesean (did not like). We both had alcoholic beverages as well. I rated them down because we told the waitress we were on separate checks and she did it anyway. We had tine to spare before dinner reservations so we got drinks at the tuck room. The staff was great but they did the same thing. They cashed us out on the same check. This is a great place for date nights but I probably wont be a regular here unless I am with someone. Its expensive but I do think the price is worth the experience. So highly recommend!

IPIC Houston is an excellent theater with reclining seats and blankets. The screens are large, the service is great, and they have a lot of food and beverage options to select from. They also screen many of the latest films.

Pepperoni Pizza - thin-crust, surprisingly good!

The food was delicious and the service was great! They also provided blankets in each seat! However, the blankets are small.

Ask the Community - IPIC Houston

Are the movies in spanish?

We do not currently offer any movies in Spanish, thank you!

Can you get the full menu inside the theater?

Yes

Can I go with a wheelchair?

Yes Carlos, you can. We sell Wheelchair Seat tickets, as well as Companion Seats (look for these designations on the seating chart once you select a movie and showtime). Thank you!

Can we bring our own blanket?

I don't see why not but I may ask that you contact them just to make sure. They do have nice soft blankets though.

Face masks still absolutely required?

They are encouraged but not required

Is this the kind of place where I could drop my middle schoolers off at and they could buy the ticket there themselves safely and call me when it's done or do you need an adult to be present?

Hi Kylie- They would need an adult to be present. Thank you!

So they still do the free unlimited popcorn? 2021

Nope. But when I asked, they snuck me some (but I ordered other things). So doesn't hurt to ask. Lol.

Does the arm go up in between the seats? Can the table with the seats be moved?

Thankfully, the armrests between the seats are fixed to help clients maintain some dignity. People should "Netflix and chill" at home.…

Do we really have to order the food from the theater?

You don't HAVE to..You can eat in the Tuck Room prior (I recommend having a reservation if you go on the weekend) or If you purchased the premium plus, they will bring the food to your seat.…

In most theaters, the front row is way too close to the screen. How does this place compare?

I would not recommend the front row or standard seating. The premium plus seating is definitely the way to go or go to a "regular" theater. Hope this helps!

For the price of the tickets, this rooftop parking garage cinema was not as nice as we expected. It was giving the vibes of a dog park, and it is only on the fifth floor, so there isn't much of a view. The screen quality was pretty bad, and there was a random white rectangle in the middle. They gave us headphones for the audio, which were fine, but it would've been nice to also have some level of audio playing externally for when you want to take your headphones off for a bit. They have a bar, concessions, and you can order food from your seat with a QR code, but we brought outside food in. The tickets were advertised for $20.75, but after fees and tax, two tickets totalled to $51.70. The chairs, albeit cushioned, were not that comfy and quite small. There were no cup holders or counters to put our food or belongings on. We got the regular Adirondack chairs, and we realized when we got there that this meant we were relegated to seating on the side. When purchasing tickets online, it showed rows that went all the way across with the same type of seating. They instead had it where the loveseats were in the middle, and those would've added at least $20 more to the cost. Make sure to use the code WELCOME10 to save 10% or put in a student or military discount code if you qualify to save a little bit.

After a recent visit, there have been several upgrades and things are looking up!…read more First off, the parking garage (tucked away in the back, in case you didn't know!) got a paint job, and looks a lot friendlier. Fun colors! The theater seems to have really upgraded its higher level theater situation. By that I mean IMAX, RPX, and 4DX, etc. This past weekend I saw my first 4DX movie, and let me tell you, it was an EXPERIENCE. You need to go into it literally thinking about a rollercoaster. I was truly not expecting the seats to move as much as they did - we're talking lifting, tilting, twisting, and turning. There are light effects, wind, snow, water - the works! During the previews they give you kind of a practice run, and I was worried I was going to hate it! They basically showed off all the effects at once and it was overwhelming, but once we were in the movie, it was awesome. We went to see Resident Evil, which is loosely based off a video game, and seeing this film under those conditions really brought everything to life! We had a ton of fun, and with the right movie would definitely do it again. Definitely recommend, but only if you know what you're getting yourself into! Don't choose this option if you are prone to motion sickness.
