Came here with friends and we had such a good time! They usually have a person stationed outside the doors to assist with the food and beverages your carting into the theater. The seats are oversized which is nice! You don't feel like your personal space is being invaded. The food is a little pricey, however, in the overall picture it's worth it! I don't always splurge at a movie theater, but when I do, it's at iPic. What part do you want first, the good part or the bad part? THE BAD. I'll give you the bad first since this kinda stunk. I went to see Avengers Age of Ulton with some friends. We got the premium seats, we were seated and given warm blankets... next came the popcorn... then a menu with food items.... oh yeah, there was booze on the menu, why not right? I fell asleep 30 minutes into the movie. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Yeah, I was the guy snoring. Did I mention the seats recline electronically? It's like they don't want you to watch the movie, the get ya drunk and comfy... it's like a $25 nap. IN CASE YOU CAN'T TELL BY THE 5 STARS, the bad was really just a joke. I love this place. THE GOOD I've been here several times and the service is always great. I love the bar area and pool tables, I love that you can order out of the theater and hang out, so you can arrive early just to chill. My food was great, I had the buffalo spring rolls again, that's all I ever order and they are always awesome. It's pretty hard to screw up a movie theater; that being said, it's pretty hard to make it better. They made it better than better. After one visit, I'm in love! Before you even walk into the theater room, there's a full bar with pool tables to get you going before you're ready to watch your movie. Then, once you enter the room you have your own secret pod, which is very romantic, that comes with blankets because it is cold in there. The food was great, I had the nachos and chicken and waffles! I attended a movie at the IPic theatre in Fairview on Thursday 12/28/23. The waiter asked to put a card on hold when I ordered my food. he never stated that a $75.00 hold would be placed on my debit card. when the movie ended I found out that another lady in our group had paid my ticket. They did not remove the hold and today is Jan 3rd and the money is still on hold. The manager told me they had signs. there website excludes hold on food purchases. Not happy with the inconvenience this has caused! Bank will refund and made me get a new debit card which I had to pay for it to be rushed! Make sure the waiter tells you about the hold. read more

I love this theater! I have been wanting to go to an iPic theatre for some time now. I use to live nearby one in CA but thought the price was too expensive. Definitely the menu can get pricey, however, tickets are definitely good. We are good members now since we thought it was worth it. It was a flat price for a whole year and it comes with a discount on menu. The seats are so comfortable. They are recliners and they even offer blankets to stay cozy during a movie. The food service can be slow at times so we always plan to head over early before our showtime and order prior to even trailers starting. With COVID this has definitely been our go to theatre because we feel like the spacing makes us feel more comfortable. It's really private for two seaters. If you have a group, it may feel like you're watching a movie with just one other person. Each seating is grouped by twos. They are very accommodating to someone who is celiac. They have options they can make gluten-free or just a healthier choice in general. Their drinks are definitely priced a bit higher, however, they are delicious and never disappoint. I had once experience here once where the chef created something off menu for me as I asked prior via phone call due to a scheduled booking after teeth surgery. I thought that was amazing for their customer service. I recommend having this iPic experience. It's cute for a date night or something fancy like dinner and movie all at once. read more

I used to LOVE this place but the quality went off a cliff. Wife and I went to see a movie about two years ago and when we got to our seats, there were layers upon layers of cloth napkins all over both of our seats. Waitress told us that since this was a kid's movie, there were recent spills and they did everything possible to cover the wetness and that manager would give us free tickets for our inconvenience. Needless to say the napkins didn't work, by end of movie our clothes were soaked. After movie I asked for my free tickets that were promised to me, waitress and manager said they would be applied to my account (I was a sapphire member). Few days later I checked my account online... no free tickets applied. Called to inquire and no one answered... left voicemail asking for someone to call me back about the free tickets promised to me... never got that callback. After some time passed, we went to see another movie and asked hostess about free tickets owed to me and she said she couldn't see them in my account and took my email address, promising me I would get an email resolving this... still haven't received anything via email either... guess I shouldn't hold my breath. During our final visit, we noticed the blankets had a peculiar smell like dirty rag... table between chairs was uncontrollably wobbly and this was something we had already experienced on more than one occasion. This was our final straw. This is a shame... this place really was GREAT a few years ago, but obviously customer satisfaction has dropped in priority, along with cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. With so many options in the immediate area (with new Moviehouse and Eatery down the road and local Cinemarks upgrades and new location on 380), I'm just perplexed at how this place would take their eye off the ball in such a significant manner. BTW, this was originally posted on FB and there was a response that we would be contacted to resolve this... it's all actually still all there. Never got a communication from anyone. The AC in the bar area is no longer functional, I guess... which means that if you want to spend $100 on some pre movie food and drink, you'll probably be sweating while you do it. They have the coolest seats-you feel like you are in a spaceship pod...except with blankets! The buffalo roll was amazing! I was not as big of a fan of the sliders even though they were good, but the roll blew them away. In my last review, I mentioned price as a negative but I'm going to elaborate since that's the main reason for removing a star this time. Catching the next Avengers film, we decided to enjoy more than the complimentary popcorn and indulge for lunch. Knowing that it's going to be pricey, we hoped the portions would make up for it. It was a sheer disappointment to say the least. I ordered the Lobster Roll, subbing the potato chips for sweet potato fries and my husband got the Southern Bird. Let me tell you, the Lobster Roll is not worth the price (the menu will say it's $22 but our bill said $25). It was tiny; about the size of my hand, and for $25 I expected something more substantial, loaded. Nope! As delicious as it was (probably a 4 out of 5 in taste), I would not recommend it. The value isn't there. The Southern Bird is basically a chicken sandwich. My husband said it was "okay," but you could get something better at Chili's -- a 3/5 for taste and meat quality. We somehow ended up getting a full side of sweet potato fries in addition to the subbed fries for the Lobster Roll. I'm not sure how that happened and it was on our bill, but whatever. We paid for it so we ate it. 1 thing IPIC should absolutely fix is how they give you food. Our fries, sandwich, and roll were all wrapped in the loudest paper on the face of the earth. And it was disruptive to have to unravel it in a quiet theater, during a quiet scene just to enjoy our food. I ended up waiting for an action scene to dump all of my fries onto the plate because there was too much crinkling and I didn't want to be THAT person. Another negative is the staff seemed behind this afternoon. When we entered the theater, no one was around to guide us to our seats and it was around the time the movie was supposed to start that someone finally took our order. We were there roughly 15mins beforehand to put things into perspective. 15mins into the movie, they finally came around to give everyone popcorn and our past experience is they try to dish it out during the previews. From this point forward, I'm going to go back to eating food before coming here. As convenient as it is, there's minimal value. The price compared to the taste and portions is not aligned. I am a huge fan of the iPic concept and this location mostly pulls it off. The recliners, blankets, and pillows make this a top notch movie going experience. The service is not as great as other locations, I have been disappointed each time with the slow service. If service were more consistent, it could be an effective method to discourage inappropriate behavior. During a New Year's Eve viewing last year a couple next to us was engaging in loud sexual activity. It was pretty embarrassing as I was watching the movie with my daughter. This is a danger that the theatre should consider as the seating is designed to be semi-private. read more

It's been awhile since we've been to iPic, we use to go several times a week until it started smelling wet all the time. The chairs were broken and also always felt damp. I am happy to say that was NOT the case last night, everything had been redone with non porous surfaces and it felt clean. The food wasn't as good as I remembered and most of the items were the same as the last time we were there. Comfortable and was a nice quick date night, thanks for changing things up!! Will certainly add it back into our rotation of places to Update 5/8/2019 My daughter and I saw Detective Pikachu this after at 4pm, this review is solely on the food alone as I'm still a fan of the new seats etc. She order the buttermilk fried chicken and I ordered the loaded tots. She couldn't eat the Chicken as it smelled of fish and tasted burnt. We never were able to figure out what sauce she got with it but our button was never answered and we then had to stay ten minutes after the movie while the cleaners were in the theater to get our bill bc our server thought we were apart of another group. I'm not sure if they were charged for our things or not but he was confused when we asked for our bill ‍ I'm still not a fan of the food, it doesn't warrant the prices that are attached to it. read more

Completely terrible. Loved the movie we saw. Disliked the theater and staff. Though it's a $16 ticket...You have to order at the bar and take it to your seat. The Express bar wouldn't let us order, they insisted we order at the other bar for popcorn and drinks. We ordered and the waitress had to go wait at the Express bar to fulfill our order. We missed the previews waiting on the service. Not sure why since it's supposed to be full service...but no, you have to buy the premium plus ticket for that. I ended up getting pretzels and a glass of wine. Sadly, I liked both items. The pretzels were ridiculously priced but the wine was normal. For a movie, glass of wine, and pretzels I paid $40 and had terrible service. If you're outraged, just wait because it gets better. At the climax of the movie they come to being a bill for all of us...one bill. And we have to have a conversation about how to split it. We then wait 10m and go out to see what is happening. We ask them and the woman rudely says they are still trying to split the 2 pretzels, 2 wines, and coke among the 3 people since we weren't supposed to get service it was an issue. My sister went to pay her bill of $5.50 for a Dr. Pepper, without any refills ever offered because remember she didn't pay for the ticket with premium PLUS. When she went to pay for the coke with a $10 the guy didn't give her change. When she requested it, he said "really?" And took forever. Then conveniently forgot who she was and asked who wanted change again. We were the only people in the theater at that point. He then only gave her $3. It's the principle of things rather than the $1.50...It took away from my movie going experience. I felt like an inconvenience to be at this establishment. I was so uncomfortable and unhappy that I cant even tell you about the theater. Ugh McKinney grill is much better and less expensive somehow...for reclining seats and service. The new seating upgrade has improved our opinion of iPic Fairview--so glad they've decided to utilize the entire in-theater space for all premium plus seating. Now all auditoriums feature privacy booth-like pods while retaining the blanket/pillow + recliners that made movie-watching such a pleasure here. While the menu appears to have slimmed down slightly, we still have our faves, including the cheddar drop biscuits, chicken skewers, tempura green beans and truffle fries. iPic Fairview is an excellent example of what a luxury dine-in theater experience should be; it's now back in our rotation for movie going. Now if they'd only improve their online ticketing system and make it more mobile friendly! read more

My rating was 1 star except there was one employee who realized how poorly we were treated and came over and tried to make up for the actions of the bartender. For the last 9 years this has been my favorite theater to frequent for movies and we have always had an amazing movie experience! I would have given it 5 stars or greater every single visit. Over the years this area has gained a lot more competition in the dine/drink and view category of theaters but I have alway been willing to pay more because of the total experience at IPic. I am willing to pay more for the quality of the movie experience but tonight was different our movie experience was amazing the theaters have been upgrade but after our movie when we came out to the bar area after we were treated very poorly by the bartender. And the bartender told us if we didn't like it to just go! We have been coming here for the last 9 years and have never been treated like this. We have spent a lot of money here over the years and I am completely shocked by the way we were treated tonight. I would never allow my clients or customers to be treated the way I was treated tonight. read more

Ooooo niceeeee is what I said when I first sat my butt down on their comfy chairs! this is a four star movie theatre compare to the other ones! Seats are between premium or premium plus. Premium, just leather seats and premium plus is the recliners. Those go fast! you should buy your tickets online! they are cheaper with when you join membership (free) The premium plus seats are leveled up so you don't have to look over anybody's shoulders. Every seat has a blanket and a pillow for comfort. For the premium plus seats, waiters come take your orders before the movie starts and come back at the end of the movie to bring you your check. All orders go in at one time so they don't keep walking back and fourt to disturb you. I don't think there is waiter service for the premium seats. You have to order your own and bring it in there. The food is gourmet and it's chef prepared. OOoo lala!!!! can the chef give me a massage, too? Can I put in a special request? hahaha justtttt kidding!!!! :) We ordered bbq chicken flat bread, turkey sliders, and the meatball sliders to share between my group. They were all delicious!!! bbq chicken flatbread is must try! If you order water, they give it to you in a big cup so you don't have to get up and ask for more! how thoughtful! Everything we ordered was great but I loved the flat bread the most! ask for ranch! Theatre is kind of far but plan a whole day trip out there. It's near Allen outlet, do a little shopping first and then come here for a movie. It's worth it! You could easily spend the whole day here! We went to see Sully this evening at 7:05 and after spending 120.00, 60.00 at the bar, not including tip and 60.00 for the premium seats we had very poor service once the previews started. We had a soda and two waters that we had brought into the theatre once we left the bar area from great food and service by both bartenders. We were greeted by the server once we got into our premium seats but that was the last time we saw her for the following 2 hours of the movie. My wife and I were wanting our free dessert from the survey we completed and two coffee drinks but we never had the opportunity to even request it. We have been to ipic on many occasions in the past and have been members since 2011. Our previous experiences at ipic weren't always perfect but tonight was extremely disappointing. I came to Ipic in Fairview Texas during a short stay in Texas. I checked out this particular Ipic since the one in Westwood, CA has been closed since the start of covid. This particular location was excellent. The setup/layout & ambiance was impressive. You printout your tickets when you first walk in & take the escalator up. We walked in & our temperatures were checked & we were told where our theater was. This location has several pool tables & a bar once you come up the escalator, followed by the lounge area. This location seems very spacious compared to the Ipic in Westwood CA that I normally frequent. Our server Kevin was awesome! He informed that there was no complimentary popcorn anymore. We ordered 2 orders of Buffalo chicken spring rolls, a turkey burger, Norma Jean, strawberry delight & chocolate s'mores dessert. Our bill totaled $97. I will definitely be back to this location if I'm in the Texas area again. Excellent customer service, vibe/ambiance & food. read more

I bought tickets for my 8th anniversary and was completely blown away by this place. This is not a place you'd go to on a regular basis as it is pricey! Before entering the theater, I knew this was a place I would like to come back to as the bar and lounge area had a hip feel to it. I paid an extra $5 for the premium seating which was totally worth it. The extra $5 seating pays for a plush recliner, blanket and a bag of popcorn. Next time, I'll skip the fish n chips as the fish was way too greasy. The sweet potato fries, however, were the best I've had. The one small part I didn't like was the waitress standing over me as I wrote in a tip. True, she was providing a flashlight so I could see, but it was during the movie and pretty annoying. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will visit again on a special occasion. read more

Truly love this place, my fiancé and I live in Allen and it's actually our date night spot even when we don't go see a movie because we love the food. The only reason I can't give 5* is because of the inconsistency. I always get the spice+ice drink, but it always tastes different. Even the consistency of the rim of spices taste different. Sometimes the Brussel sprouts have apples sometimes they don't. Sometimes service is amazing and sometimes they forget to ring our stuff in. I wrote an extensive review and a few updates from when this theater was known as Gold Class Cinema (as of this writing, the review is still available on Yelp). Some things have changed since those days, but it's still a great place to enjoy a movie, and you can even do it on a budget if you're careful. The theaters feature two distinct "classes" of seating and service: the upper rows are the full service seats, with full electric assist reclining and small tables for food and drink as well as waiter service throughout the show (including complimentary popcorn), and the lower rows are non-reclining without waiter service, but make no mistake, the seats here are still much nicer than your average megaplex. The full service seats command a $5 premium over the standard seats, and to me, it's worth it. You can reserve your seats online so you don't have to rush in to get the best seats. The food and drink service is still spendy, but the menu is streamlined and they have a wide selection of beer and wine options. My friend and I enjoyed a couple of large Zeigenbock drafts on our last visit, along with sweet potato fries, The beer was cold, the fries were hot and crisp. A nice snack overall. Bottom line, despite the changes (and, in some cases, such as price, because of them), this is still a great place to watch a movie. The prices tend to keep the crowd to a more adult demographic, and the picture and sound quality are first rate. Give this place a try if you want a premium moviegoing experience! read more

Love going here to watch a movie. There is a lounge here where you can hang out and have a few yummy cocktails before going into the theater. The premium plus seating is very comfortable. I felt like I was watching the movie at my house. They provided a blanket in premium plus seating area. I had such an amazing experience here. This is a really nice theater that is well worth the drive. It is pricey but I believe you're paying for the experience here. You can become a member and get a discounted rate.
