Wondering how many bad reviews about customer service and management are necessary for them to handle this situation properly. Definitely don't recommend it for friends and family. I was invited to leave because mistakenly sitting in the wrong seats. After apologizing so many times the "manager" screamed like something major happened. Completely disrespectful. I never felt so embarrassed. And the answer from customer service tells a lot about who we dealing with. Never again!! We need to do better!! I am beyond disappointed. In the last 2 months my visits to this location has caused me to no longer want to watch any movie here at all. The customer service has gone down the drain from the lack of greetings, to the late order taking, Ipic no longer stand behind their values anymore. Movies are expensive enough these days, you might as well go for the best of the best and choose iPic for a date night out. This is the luxury version of a movie theatre and baby you are worth it. It was my boyfriend's birthday and he loves watching movies. You can pre-purchase tickets, picking your seat ahead of time. We chose the upgraded lounge chair with pillows, blankets, waiter service and unlimited popcorn. I kept spilling the popcorn on my guy, so many times it was almost a joke how much popcorn flew on him. It's a good thing they will bring you as much as you want. I ordered cocktails, first the Prickly Pear Margarita and later the Millionaire Mojito - made with champagne instead of club soda. The drinks were a little pricy, but worth every penny. Just having these options at a movie is amazing. My guy went with the craft beers on tap, which you can choose large or regular sized drafts. They have a nice selection of beer, wine sprits and cocktails which suits almost anyone. We ordered one price fixe dinner for $22, which we shared as appetizers. You can choose from several selections and each plate is easy to eat during a movie. We ordered the pretzel bread with cheese, the angus beef sliders and the brownie ice cream sandwich. It was a perfect meal to split. This is by far the best movie experience you can have for the price. Small private like theaters with excellent food and beverages and fun new movies. This review is based on multiple visits since iPic's opening. SEATING/RESERVING SEATS: some people have complained about picking seats and not knowing where they are sitting. Frankly, I'm confused by this, as I select my seats from their website and the seating chart is unambiguous. The screen is noted and the two front rows are NOT the premium plus (full recliners with blanket and mini-pillow). And yes, those rows are closer than I prefer and thus, I NEVER sit there at iPic. Nor would I sit in the first few rows in ANY movie theater. Select premium plus and get to sit where you want. More expensive? YES. But you should know that from the start and not complain afterwards. Free memberships offer reduced pricing! Is it sometimes a challenge to find seats when films first open and on the weekends? Sure. The auditoriums are not huge, which has disadvantages of limited seating, but advantage of a more intimate viewing experience. SERVERS IN THE THEATERS: I have never had a server with a poor/negative attitude. All appear to be young, energetic, service oriented, with smiles on their faces. THE FOOD RUNNERS are efficient. I always engage servers in convo, and for those who are extra attentive, responsive, and offer what I feel is something extra, I post their pic on YELP and compliment. Hey, why not? My tip speaks loudly, but the public notice is appreciated. We all like it, right? FOOD: it's damn good. Tasty. Hot when it's supposed to be. Fresh. Easily shared. Not overpriced for portion size, quality and East Boca. Good wine and beer selections. I avoid their esoteric mixed drinks. SERVICE BEFORE ENTERING THEATERS: I've never gotten confused where my auditorium is located, as some have noted. There is a podium at the top of the escalators, always staffed by host who checks your ticket and directs you to the location. Self serv ticketing kiosks in lobby upon entry. Well staffed ticket counter upon entry, as well. RESTROOMS: well designed, chic, immaculate, nicely lit, scented candles. Considering high usage they obviously pay attention to cleaning details. AUDITORIUM AMBIENCE: it's got an ultra feel to it. Very clean. The blankets and pillows are cleaned after every use. Yes, I agree the mini lighting on the mini table where your food is served could be enhanced. Maybe that's planned... Hearing all these people talk so much about the iPic just made me think " who needs a pillow and a blanket to watch a movie, who needs to be fully reclined, who needs a server to bring you food & drink when your watching a movie?", well it just so happens that I do!! (I just didn't know it). One visit to the iPic and you are hooked... Now every good movie you want to see you check here first for show times, not only that, if they dare say the $24 all reclinable chairs with server are sold out, and only the $14 leather seat are available, you check other show times. On top of all the above, you also get free perfectly buttered and salted popcorn, and get to order food and/ or drinks from Tanzy. For In-theater dining they have a pretty good variety of appetizers, salads, flatbreads, desserts, and more. I ordered the Angus Burger trio - not but have definitely had better. The one thing I will definitely go back for is their full glass of refreshing, cold, fruity, absolutely delicious Sangria. (I want one right now). Another great thing about the IPic is their restaurant and bar area. You get to have before or after movie drinks by one of their mixologists, a list of specialty drinks to chose from. Only problem with the iPic is that it's a smaller theater so they don't get to show all movies or for as long as the other ones but still my go-to for must-see movies. read more

So many reasons to give this place five stars so here I go. I heard about iPic a long time ago. People told me, "once you go you'll never want to see a movie anywhere else." Ok, ok, they were right. What an amazing experience. First of all, in the premium VIP seats, which, if you're going to go, why wouldn't you pay the extra? The ticket is already a lot, so what's a few more bucks? Be American and splurge on the unnecessary- YOU GET A BLANKET AND A PILLOW TO USE! (side note: I pray those are fresh pillows and blankets that are passed out) The chair is a large orange lay-z boy type chair that essentially turns in you a bed for you. The waiter comes, you order tons of food because you can and all is right with the world. What's even better? If you're in the VIP seats- FREE POPCORN! Just what I want after spending $30 on food, but best believe I always take it with me. Another perk is having the call button so the waiter brings you free refills on your soda. No having to move unless you absolutely have to which is ideal for me. The other day I called because I double booked myself and had a movie ticket purchased on the same day as something else. I left a message with my issue and within five minutes they called me back, switched my ticket and put me in the same seat, same time just different day like I wanted with no hassle. The customer service experience here is bar-none to any place else. For that, they have a loyal customer in me. Yes, it's super expensive. Yes, I could see a movie anywhere else, but you won't get the same experience anywhere else. Try to save money by not ordering food there, but I'm not sure how you can pass up their tator tots with bacon ketchup or any of their sliders. Note: If you're on a budget like me, book the first showing of whatever movie you want to see. You can save $6 on a ticket usually. Also, there is valet. I don't think it's free, but with the amount of money you're going to spend there, save your tip money for the valet by parking yourself. This is one experience you'll definitely never forget. You're going to come out spending about $40 at least if you have a meal there and paid for your own ticket, but you're multitasking; dinner and a movie is now dinner at the movies so to me it's win/win. You'll remember the experience more than the movie you came to see, that I can guarantee. read more

I don't go to the movies much but you bet that when I do from now on I will drive 30 miles north to come here. We order our tickets online and reserve our desired seats. The theater as a whole is spacious and all the seats are recliners! yes! I watched the movie with my feet up nice and comfortable. When the movie was over, I did not want to move. They also provide blankets and pillows. I am a little apprehensive to use those although they are often washed but you never know. I did use the blanket over my jeans and that was good enough for me. You can order menu items before and throughout the entire duration of the movie. You just press the (almost) whenever/whatever button and voilá! I have gone twice now and I have had great service each time. The waiter did forget to put in one of the menu items last time though. I will not remove a star for that because he was very apologetic about it. We also did not press it because we were actually full! This last time we brought our own wine like we usually would in a restaurant setting . The corkage fee is $25.00. (like most S. Florida restaurants). However, it would be nice if it was a little less given that after they open it you pour your own the rest of the night. It's not like they decant it either. There are several parking options available. You can valet, use the garage or metered street parking. Tanzy is also downstairs which is a nice restaurant option and beats movie nachos any-day!. Review of that coming soon. They pass out hot pop corn in the beginning of the movie as well. You've got legs up, wine at hand, food at your fingertips and you are ready to go! This would be one such review For overall bad-assness of a movie theater experience, 5 star. As said by many, the theaters, food options, valet, walk-in area are all pretty cool. The kick back seats and kindly staff make it even better. The price, 2 star. It is Boca, and the whole idea is an elite cinema experience, but 50.00 for 2 tickets is past the proper price point. There are many theaters of this type now in South Florida and this is the most expensive one. Coral Ridge 10 is a much better price. The Movie(not added to the over all review), "Theory of Everything", was 4.5 stars. They bring unsalted popcorn to you(complimentary), but the people we asked said that there wasn't salt provided or the popcorn seasonings that other "fancy" theaters are offering these days. Long story short, if you want to spoil yourself and your in the Boca area, Go to the Premier Theater. Why is the women's bathroom ALWAYS a disgusting mess at the iPic located in Mizner Park? Every time I go in there is no soap (literally no soap to use), paper towels & toilet paper on the floors, toilets not working. Its obvious the women's bathroom is not checked & maintained. Please note I attend movies during the day, so the condition is not because its the end of the night. This has been a problem for a few years. The women's bathroom downstairs in the restaurant is fine. I always tell an employee about the condition of the bathroom but every time I see a movie there the bathroom is the same mess. I love iPic. We do our annual Galentine's Day here. It is a bit of a splurge for a movie, but you are paying for the comfort for sure. The seats are really comfortable and recline back nice and far. You get a blanket and pillow as well to keep you warm and cozy. There are call buttons to order food or beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The only complaint that I have is the black blanket gets lint and fuzz all over your outfit if you are wearing light clothes. I had on an off-white dress and came out with black stuff all over me. Behind the premier recliners, the theater offers seats that don't recline or have call buttons for ordering but are more inexpensive. Very disappointed with my last experience here. Arrived to my seats and not only were the floors disgusting but my seat had popcorn and food all over it I couldn't even sit. I proceeded to ask the server for a towel to clean it. I had been waiting 15 minutes so I took it upon myself to go get one from the stand outside the theater which they could not find a towel nor any sanitizer ( which grosses me out and makes me think they do not clean anything) for the pricing of the tickets this theater should be a lot cleaner.. so I finally got sanitizer and cleaned my seat. We ordered a bottle of wine and a popcorn. Popcorn never came and the bottle of wine was old and tasted like vinegar. The server felt bad so he got us two glasses of a different wine and took care of them( which I appreciated) but all in all. Let's get it together you guys are not a cheap theatre. read more

We have been here many time in the past. I never thought to do a review. This is the place my husband an I come to watch a movie when we really want to see a movie. No interruptions. The service is amazing much like sitting at a restaurant but We can be comfortable like watching a movie at home. It is truly the best of both worlds. I'd say we come here maybe twice a year to a movie we really like to see for a birthday or anniversary. It is expensive but it is worth it. The drinks are amazing we usually get the Illegalito pitcher to share (they changed the name but the server can tell you the current name) we can share a starter, we had nachos and get our own main course I had the buffalo chicken rolls my husband had the shrimp tacos. The food is simple yet delicious and easy to eat. Every seat in the house gets a bag of popcorn and a blanket. The more expensive seats recline and are further back in the theater. With the push of a button a waiter comes to you instantly to take your order and bring you anything you might need - what service! South Florida IPIC locations have recently been running a promotion for kids movies with adults only $14 and kids $11. This is definitely worth it considering tickets are $20+ otherwise. I came here last weekend to see Onward and it was a great experience. When you walk in, it's more of a restaurant/bar setting vibe and it's somewhat difficult to find where the movie theater is. A hint: it's further into the establishment and you have to go up the escalators - I would've appreciated some signs here. The only thing we ordered was a ginger ale which was house made. I wasn't a big fan of it, it was more of a ginger lemonade, with no fizz to imply it was soda. This was $8, and I didn't think it was worth the price. Otherwise, the seating is comfortable and the staff is friendly, polite, and quick. I would come here again for sure. I'm hoping to see Mulan or the latest Trolls movie here. read more

Wow, things have really changed since we were here two years ago and unfortunately not for the best. If you don't mind traffic in the parking lot and a crowded theater then Friday and Saturday nights are for you. We came on a Friday night to watch the Maverick movie. I didn't mind the theater being crowded but it appears they were not ready for the crowd. We got there about 30 minutes before the movie so we could order some food. Disappointment number one - the menu has changed and not necessarily for the best. They have a pizza on there menu but they remove their flatbread pizza and they got rid of their red velvet bread pudding , which was actually one of my favorites. OK I understand that you have to change the menu every once in a while so the only thing I can say is you have to judge a menu based on the taste of the food. Issue number two, we received our food almost an hour later. And while you could not necessarily fault the server, when asked about the delay on the food - all the server could say was that the kitchen was backed up. Yes that's probably true the kitchen was backed up but again why weren't they prepared for it??? With regards to the food, I have a prime rib sandwich which is actually pretty decent but it seems like it was left to get cold after being prepared - since it was basically cold. Another issue was with their calamari. That didn't come out very good at all, as it was chewy, barely warm, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Overall the food was not worth the price we paid for it and the service was pretty lousy. I know many restaurants and stores today are having a hard time finding good employees, but if you're gonna keep your kitchen open and charge high prices for the seats and the food - then I expect to have good food and good service. Another thing that has changed in the last few years - and I know they're saving a whole dollar on this one - does it really hurt your bottom line to give a small warm bag of popcorn to your guest for free - like you did before ????? (never mind I think I know the answer that question) Anyway I think the management has a lot of work to do at this place and maybe we'll give it another try in a couple years to see if things are better..... We come here almost every weekend. You get a nice, comfy chair, a pillow, and a blanket. Adult beverages (wine and cocktails) are great but the food is greasy and/or sugary so beware. They hand out small bags of popcorn which it's nice. Servers (who receive tips) are great and very friendly. I forgot my keys once and the server ran outside to find me. Employees who don't get tips are not as friendly. I had an issue with the attitude of the prison guard ticket checking person. I made the mistake to bring it up with the manager but he just argued with me so that was a waste of time. He did say that he'll have a chat with the ticket lady but the tone and him loudly scoffing as soon as I turned my back tells me he won't. I still some every weekend. I have always enjoyed watching a movie and having dinner at this iPic location, until last Friday. Not once were we informed of the remodeling occurring that led to half of the menu being omitted; no price differences for a small selection of appetizers, entrees, and dessert. The seasonings for the popcorn were not even available. We decided to order the "Prime Rib Sandwich" ($20 ea.), since we had already spent the $ on the tickets. The menu failed to mention that this sandwich would come out cold and in a takeout box reminiscent of what you would get out of desperation from an airport kiosk. We exited the theater without touching our food and informed the manager that the experience was not what we were expecting from iPic and requested compensation for our food. The manager was extremely unapologetic and frankly seemed annoyed about our polite complaint, as if we were the ones creating an inconvenience. After belittling our complaint by saying we, "should've been informed twice," on our way to the theater, the manager reluctantly tried to get in touch with his server (who was fabulous) and told us he would retrieve us from the theater once the bill had been edited. After 30 minutes, we walk out to find them both occupied with other things. The food was comped, but not the tickets we bought for a movie we weren't able to enjoy. Absolutely no effort made to rectify the experience or entice us to return. iPic's reputation is that of a luxury theater and its prices reflect that - you would expect to have a luxury experience, or, at the very least, be accommodated when it falls short. I solemnly write negative reviews, but this was an appalling experience and I would be hesitant to patronize this theater anytime in the near future. read more
