For example, I was looking for a specific item for a DIY birthday centerpiece and they didn't have enough in stock, so without hesitation they called the Escondido store to check their inventory. If DIY isn't for you, don't worry they have plenty of items (Pinterest worthy) ready to complete your party. They have themed party items and traditional party items as well. I frequent this location because there is plenty of parking. They accept cash or card, but there is a fee ($.35) for card if your purchase is under $5.00. Complete scam. We ordered birthday balloons for our son's birthday a week ahead of time. There was…read morenobody in the store and after we called out if anyone was there (1st red flag), the owner came out in Pajama's (2nd red flag). We ordered almost $30 in balloons. When we went to pick them up a week later, they didn't have our order, because he "forgot." He didn't even have it written down to know what it was that we ordered. The balloons were tied incorrectly. So the strings came off. There were no weights to keep them down. He told me that I would have to buy weights, and then said I could take one of the free ones upfront. Because there were so many balloons the weight wouldn't even hold one of the balloons. Mind you the latex balloons were the cheapest kind of balloon you can get. This place is a complete scam, the people are completely unprofessional, and everything that they use is a very low quality. Stay as far away from this place as possible. I hate to be "that person". I was really hoping to support a local business, but the joke was on me when they couldn't care less about their own business. Lesson learned.

Tuesday of the dinner week rolled around, and sure enough, the rain was confirmed for Thursday. I reached out to what felt like 1 million different companies, and most of the quotes were fairly high for a canopy. I found Arael Events here on yelp, and then I went to social media to see if I could find additional tagged photos of events they've done. Not that I needed an elaborate set up, but I wanted to make sure that the set up looked nice and that it would withstand the weather and wind. Her quote came in significantly lower than most other companies, and that included canopy walls, a string of lights down the center, as well as set up and teardown. They are quick, professional, and friendly! When I find a company that I believe in, they have my full support! I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking to rent for their events, so much so that after my event, they took down the canopy, and transported it just down the road to a friend's place for their weekend event, AND I booked them again for our team the following week.

After a quick google search and Yelp, I called Jennae from Party Pax. LIFE SAVER! From the beginning Party Pax was professional, and even had great vendors to help with characters/cakes/cookies. I used all her resources and the party was terrific. The process is simple. Order what you want, pick it up, set up for the party and return when you're done. If I would have bought all the decoration, I would have spent so much more money, plus I would have had to store the decor and I have no more room in the house (and you know I would have never used it again!). Where are they going to eat? How are ugly tables with cheap plastic table covers going to be themed in any way? What have I done????? That's where Jennae from Party Pax comes in! I was absolutely floored at the selections and quality of all of her settings. I ordered seating for 24 girls and 12 boys in 2 separate themes. It is literally the easiest thing ever to setup. Everything comes in very neatly packed boxes with an instruction sheet. The tables break down small enough to fit in a car as do the child sized chairs. As a man who wears jeans and t-shirts and has absolutely no sense of fashion or ability to put something like this together - it was a breeze. I also rented her red carpet roller and hilarious "Musical Princess throne" for my daughter which was a huge hit. I am sure Jennae changes the battery in that thing every rental! Super easy business to deal with - responsive and even accommodated a last minute add of an additional 12 settings I requested. Pickup and dropoff - easy. Repacking - easy. Can't say enough, completely awesome business and owner. I have a 6, 4, and 1 year old - plan on keeping Jennae busy the next several years until the kids are too big for her settings!
