I came in to have my retainer removed and decided to switch things up with a new hoop-style nose ring. Juniper checked me in and was awesome about walking me through my options. Gold clasp wasn't in my price range, but I found a really cute silver hoop with stones that worked for me and was within my price range. Then my buddy Zach took care of the actual switch--removing the retainer and putting in the new hoop. He got the size just right, and I absolutely love the new look! Hau checked me out, and once again, the whole experience was easy and fun. I really appreciate the entire team at Infinite. Bookings are a few weeks out because they're quite a busy shop so plan in advance. The team is super friendly and greets you when you come in. It's a very welcoming staff and space. They walk you through the process, have you pick out your jewelry and sign a few forms, tell you the total price then you wait in their small waiting area until you get called back to your room. Once you get called back, their rooms are super clean and their piercers are very knowledgeable. They do what you need to feel comfortable, whether that's being walked through step by step of what's going to happen or going in completely blind. The rooms and materials are clean and they set you up for success for healing your piercing.

They are all friends and so sometimes that bedside manner is slightly adjusted to assume you're one of them as soon as you enter. They are kind and considerate- and CLEAN. Krystal did request that only I go back behind the curtain- this wasn't Rude. This was so that she had my undivided attention to before and after care regarding my new piercing. I spontaneously went to Hydravolve Studios because I was nearby, it had good reviews online and I wanted to check out styles, prices, etc. I met with Shannon who was just finishing up with a client & happened to be available the remainder of that evening. She went over everything with me and showed me the earrings. It was way too plain for me and the only downfall - they don't have a good variety to choose from in stock. If you wan't rhinestones/more bling or a specific style, etc., you'll need to order it with her, wait for it to come in and then go back to get your piercing. With the fact that I have been contemplating getting this piercing done for a long time, I knew I was ready to get it done right then and there..but also wanted something with bling. Lucky for me, Shannon was able to find an earring with a "little" bling and told me it was available since the person who ordered it, after a month or so, never came back. I decided to go for it and so glad I did. I did tell Shannon to not show me the needle she was going to use or anything because I'd probably run out of the room lol Shannon was very informative; told me everything she was doing, step by step. She was very clean, very nice and super gentle. It happened so quickly with one deep breath. After she was done, she went over in detail on clean/care instructions. Not only is it extremely clean and sanitary, but the artists are talented... REALLY talented. The shop is tucked away in South Jersey, but don't let that deter you Philly residents. It's right off of the ACExpressway, and would be well worth the bridge toll home. It's no wonder that Keith has such a long list of people waiting to get work done by him; he's charismatic, gives fair pricing, and does amazing work.

I came in here a little while back to have the piercer remove a captive hoop from my nose (nostril)…read moreand to put in a temporary stud. I'll keep it succinct- The guy who was supposed to do the work was clearly high on something. He was stumbling, had slurred and disjointed speech, etc. I should have walked out right then, but against my better judgement and due to a time crunch, I stayed hoping he'd be able to get the job done. Needless to say, it was pretty unpleasant. He did a pretty good number on my nose, more blood and discomfort than there ever should have been (aka, none. The piercing is over a year old and was not bleeding prior to this). To boot, while he was trying (and failing) to get the temporary stud in, the guy drooled on my shoulder. Yes, you read that right- Drooled on me. At the end of this experience, the hoop was removed and the temporary stud was put in backwards at my request because it was pretty apparent that the guy was not going to be able to get it in from the inside. Figured I'd cut my losses. I let the owner know and he told me that the guy was coming from getting a tooth pulled, and might have still been impacted by anesthesia. Extending the benefit of the doubt... maybe that was the case. But regardless, a tattoo artist or piercer should not be working on clients when impaired to the extent that they can't maintain their balance and they're drooling on clients. On a positive note, I can say that the owner was very pleasant to speak with and was very receptive to the feedback I gave after I left; he seemed genuinely concerned and said he'd go check on the guy. That said, there are far better places to get work done.
