I spontaneously went to Hydravolve Studios because I was nearby, it had good reviews online and I wanted to check out styles, prices, etc. I met with Shannon who was just finishing up with a client & happened to be available the remainder of that evening. She went over everything with me and showed me the earrings. It was way too plain for me and the only downfall - they don't have a good variety to choose from in stock. If you wan't rhinestones/more bling or a specific style, etc., you'll need to order it with her, wait for it to come in and then go back to get your piercing. With the fact that I have been contemplating getting this piercing done for a long time, I knew I was ready to get it done right then and there..but also wanted something with bling. Lucky for me, Shannon was able to find an earring with a "little" bling and told me it was available since the person who ordered it, after a month or so, never came back. I decided to go for it and so glad I did. I did tell Shannon to not show me the needle she was going to use or anything because I'd probably run out of the room lol Shannon was very informative; told me everything she was doing, step by step. She was very clean, very nice and super gentle. It happened so quickly with one deep breath. After she was done, she went over in detail on clean/care instructions. Not only is it extremely clean and sanitary, but the artists are talented... REALLY talented. The shop is tucked away in South Jersey, but don't let that deter you Philly residents. It's right off of the ACExpressway, and would be well worth the bridge toll home. It's no wonder that Keith has such a long list of people waiting to get work done by him; he's charismatic, gives fair pricing, and does amazing work.

My friend and I were under 18 and our mothers had to come with us, and Immortal was so kind and accommodating. He walked us each through what was going to happen. Great! A few months ago my belly ring fell out (loose jewelry, not their fault) and the hole became too narrow for my belly rings. So, I went back for help. The guy at the front desk seemed bored with me, but gave me necessary information to see their new piercer, Lance. Lance was very kind and professional, and helped me stretch my piercing enough to allow for jewelry-- and he only charged me for the new ring! Would definitely recommend for piercings, but not so much for tattoos.
