Having Misty as my career (and life) transitioning coach was incredibly self-empowering every step of the way. In reading her previous reviews, I can honestly 100% attest to those sentiments as they are how I also felt in working with her as a coach. Misty is tremendously perceptive, astute, supportive, direct, knowledgeable, grounded, curious, insightful, responsive, and empathetic. After every meeting / phone call / communication we had, she would provide or offer actionable next steps. Before any of my job submissions, interviews, or negotiations, I would turn to her with questions and sought suggestions. Misty would respond with clarity, re-emphasizing how to specifically lean into my strengths and values, and she would share feedback / tactics / best practices to authentically navigate through these particular processes. She is attuned to understanding who you are and where you are seeking to grow professionally. When you have conversations or meetings with her, she provides the space and tools that allow you to realize how you can key in on your values, and how to actively shape + align those values to the next step(s) through your transition. Whether you feel it's crucial that you'll need a coach to provide key guidance during a time of transition, or you're on the fence (or very skeptical even) about what a coach could do for you - I would, in any circumstance, absolutely advocate for having Misty in your corner! It could be for a few months, or even beyond that. She's worked with an array of diverse clients who were seeking or undergoing considerable career/life changes, as well as with folks (like in my situation) who needed some guidance, motivation, and support through a career pivot. I've never felt more confident navigating through such an unchartered space in my professional career - particularly in the process as a job seeker aiming to shift roles and level up. Happy to also update that this journey with Misty as my career transition coach helped me land my next job/role! Thank you, Misty! ~Highly recommend her as your coach! read more
