After months of shopping around, we decided to have David's team install LVP, carpet and handle all our millwork and casings which included complicated compound angles on our staircase. Their workmanship and attention to detail was very professional and more than met our picky expectations. The old-school honesty and integrity of everyone on David's team was truly refreshing. Eric managed our project and kept it on-time and on-budget. His attention to communication was impressive & timely even at 10pm at night and on weekends. At that time, the wonderful sales person I worked with on my first order was no longer employed and they have this guy Marlon running the show now. I was candid with Marlon about why I had to redo my floors and needed a new estimate. Marlon was initially very pushy about getting directly involved with my claim even tho I told him I already had a contractor to do the work and I simply just needed the materials. After 20 minutes of saying no to his suggestion he finally gave me the estimate. He quoted me $4.19 claiming inflation impacting the price. Okay fine -- I go get the amount approved through insurance. Insurance approvals take a while so I didn't end up going back to actually purchase the floor until today, July 2025. NOW he's trying to tell me the price for the floor is $5.39. As if the cost of flooring skyrocketed up $2.39 per sqft in a matter of 8 months?! He told me to go back to my insurance adjuster and ask for more money and then it was clear to me this man was trying to take advantage of my claim by gouging the price of the floor. He knew my insurance was a grade for grade replacement and tried to leverage that to inflate what he wanted to charge me. Pure greed. Because how else does a floor go from $3 to $5.39 in 8 months?? Especially when I checked nearby competitors and no one else had raised their prices recently. I did love that floor but the pushy & predatory business practices were simply unacceptable (especially as a return customer) and I ended up taking my business elsewhere -- as should you.

He promptly provided a quote, and kept in touch via text message (a huge perk for phone call-averse people like me). When we visited the showroom to pick out the carpet and sheet vinyl pattern, it came as a relief that Erik was not interested in upselling - he'd present options, explain the pros and cons of each, and trusted us to make our own decisions. The first issue occurred on the installation day, when Erik messaged me to say the carpet had not arrived yet. He was apologetic and explained what had happened, but we would still have to wait another week for it to arrive. The second issue occurred after his team removed my old carpet: they found the tiles underneath contained asbestos and needed to be sealed, for an additional cost. This added another day to the sheet vinyl install, but this was a possibility he had mentioned early on. The team also accidentally broke my dryer vent, but Erik agreed to fix it with absolutely no fuss. Finally, there were a few little bubbles in the sheet vinyl I had to push out. A week before we needed to move they said they would be able to start right away. Other flooring services said they needed 1-2 weeks before they could start. We were getting about 1250sqft of LVP installed in 4 bed rooms and a laundry room. After signing the invoice, Vlad's team demoed and prepped all the subfloor two days later. The day after demoing, they said they got the material they needed and went hard at work getting flooring installed. We communicated in advance that there were squeaks in the floor, we marked some of those squeaky locations for them, during the demo and prep they found more squeaking that they fixed for us. Their communication and pricing was amazing. Vlad kept in contact with us every other day via calls and texts. Any questions I had were quickly addressed by him and his team. Some other great details that stood out to me: One of their guys helped me move a heavy package upstairs without me even asking them. They saw I was about to move it and offered on their behalf During prepping they needed to take off all the doors and rehang them. They were able to rehang them better than when we moved in They did a good job at helping clean up a lot of the dust from the carpet and demo. They couldn't get all the dust as some of it required a mop The installers they have work fast and are quite experienced They labeled and organized all the baseboards/trim they took off and neatly put it in the garage. We chose to reuse it and they put it all back well. We just need to repaint it. You could choose to have them replace them and repaint them if you want. We are looking to have our downstairs floor done by them in the future. I was also pleased to learn that the Prestige also does painting at a very competitive price. We'll be looking to have them paint in the future as well. Tips for customers - Make sure you look at floor samples that include the seams, some samples may only show you a full piece so you may not see what the pattern looks like. Some lighter LVP wood samples may have sharp seam contrasts Mark all the areas on your floor where there are squeaks. After your floor is demoed, walk around on it and find more squeaks and mark them with an X using a marker so they are fixed up Get everything you want done in writing and signed off on Make sure the flooring service you go with includes a clause about an installation warranty in your contract.
