I'm a candidate for cervical disc replacement and fusion and I'm trying to avoid it.. recently I had a significant flare-up that caused pain, tingling, and numbness radiating down my arm. After doing some research, I decided to go to Intouch Chiropractic, Dr. Tapia and Dr. Young, who specialize in upper cervical care using the NUCCA technique along with spinal decompression and laser therapy. I'm very glad I made that decision. After just a few sessions, I started noticing real improvement. Now I'm almost completely pain-free, with little to no episodes of tingling or numbness. I've been able to work with no pain and the best part riding my motorcycle, and return to a normal, active lifestyle again. The entire experience at the office has been excellent. I'm always seen right on time, which I really appreciate. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional, and both doctors take the time to clearly explain the treatment process and answer any questions. Parking is always easy, which is another plus. I plan to continue with maintenance visits and am hopeful I can avoid surgery. Thanks to the care I've received at Intouch Chiropractic. Highly recommend to anyone dealing with spinal pain and symptoms. read more

I wish there was a specific section for front desk heroes... Carolina is above and beyond amazing!! I had called around, gone to other places, disappointed... but Carolina saved the day! She took charge, helped me get an appointment, set me up with an MRI referral, worked on getting me an appointment with them, called back to follow up, was genuinely pleasant and helpful! Super caring, well mannered, polite and efficient! Then I met her and she does it all while rocking a smile and batting her eyelashes with so much class... I walked in to my appointment and Yuko was quick to come out to greet me, very polite and pleasant!! I was pleasantly surprised, they make you feel as if you are visiting friends... the coffee is superb! The office smells clean, there is a nice ambience... now the doctor, well he gets 5 stars for sure, he greets you, is intelligent, no bs or unnecessary commentary, he is focused on what matters, and while that should be the standard, after visiting a few places I can tell you, that's not the case. His demeanor is professional, but approachable and genuine... yes so far I got all of that from this place. I will update more as I get treatment... but you can tell a lot about a place on how they interact with you on the phone when they don't have much to gain by spending time on you... the consult is free, which I say is very complete. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE DRX9000 decompression machine treatment is worth every penny, it isn't cheap, but you shouldn't be cheap with your health. read more

Greta place! My results were explained well to me and it's been great to see what my options are.

Dr. Young, Dr. Tapia, and staff are great! always accommodating, caring, and knowledgeable.

I started receiving treatment at Intouch Chiropractic a year ago. It was about a year ago. One morning, I had a sharp pain that started in the lower right side of my body to my toes. The pain medications were ineffective, I couldn't walk, sit and sleep. I just cried and suffered. After a frantic search of the internet, I found "Intouch Chiropractic", and found the most effective 8-session treatment, by very knowledgeable Dr. Young & Dr. Tapia for my sciatica. The combination treatment of [DRX 9000 Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression] treatment is amazingly effective. After the 8-Session, my nightmarish sciatica was completely gone, in fact, I am continuing to receive treatments twice a month to maintain a comfortable everyday life. Thank you to this, I am more active than before. The doctors, staff and treatments are Excellent !!! Intouch Chiropractic is undeniably a true 5-stars. read more

Such a wonderful and welcoming environment from the beginning until the end. You don't feel like a number there, but truly like family. The specialized type of chiropractic care, "Nucca" is truly like no other and so specialized. I encourage others to research who do not know of Nucca. Every single person working there from the receptionist to the doctors are above and beyond, nurturing, caring and validating of feelings. I love that the whole team is trained to be top notch at customer service as people who are going there are going through things like pain and emotional distress from the pain. German New Medicine is also something to research as some doctor offices can literally contribute to making you worse by not being validating or kind to all who walk through their door. This office was nice when I walked in to inquire, when I called in to solidify my pre-qualification consultation, and they were amazing after I paid in full for a program (they could have just dropped the ball after getting payment, but did not). Thank you for all you do staff and doctors! You were an amazing part of my healing journey! read more

Dr Young and Dr Tapia are amazing. They not only listen to where I am struggling but address it with tips how to maintain. I had constant lower back pain in my life until I found Intouch Chiropractic. I don't know where I would be without them! read more

Doctors Tapia and Young have gotten me through both neck and back injuries in the last five years and I don't know where I'd be without them. I truly consider them miracle workers, and I can't recommend them high enough. If you're experiencing either neck or back pain, they're your go to doctors in San Diego. read more

The company is not upfront about pricing. My consult was $300 and the recommended treatment plan was $4000 and would require me to come to the office 3x a week. Had I known the treatment plan was this expensive I would have passed on the $300 consult because I know this is not an affordable option for me. The lack of transparency seems like a money grab/business scheme. I could have saved myself $300 and spared myself the radiation from the dozens of X rays of my head/neck. It doesn't seem that the company has the patient's best interest in mind. It's easy to take advantage of people who are in pain sadly. read more

I came to Intouch about a year and a half ago with low back and sciatica pain that I had dealt with for over ten years. I had all but given up and just figured it was my new normal. I went based on how good their reviews were and thought I would give it one last try after seeing multiple chiropractors. Their method sounded different than traditional chiro. Dr. Young said she thought she could get me to 80% which I was more than happy with yet pretty skeptical. I did the initial program and started to get noticeably better. Here I am over a year later and I'd say I'm near 100% and in the gym all of the time now. Lifting a weight wasn't even an option before. I am truly grateful for what I have been given back. Sorry for the ramble, but people that have tried everything else, should try this. read more

I was looking for an upper cervical chiropractor, and this one had good reviews, so I made an appointment. I should have known it wasn't a good idea when they wanted a $50 deposit. I went to the consultation (no adjustment was given first visit) and they wanted to do xrays and a plan that was $1500 to start with. Later they emailed telling me I was out of network and they were keeping my deposit to pay for the consultation. I never would have agreed to paying that. I've been to chiropractors for years and years and never had to pay anything like that (usually consultations are no charge and first visits only require a copay). They also had a set-up for adjustments in a public room--I prefer individual private rooms, so I wouldn't have liked that anyway. But I'm a senior who doesn't make much money, and this was an expense I didn't expect. Disappointing at best, but feels like a scam. read more

I went to Intouch Chiropractic for over a year and was struggling to see results. I had been an upper cervical chiropractic patient in the past with another doctor in CO and was expecting a similar experience. Dr. Young would always adjust my neck first, if I was out of alignment, make sure I was in alignment and then adjust my middle/lower back. But I still was having upper cervical issues - vertigo, headaches, etc. He tried adjusting on the opposite side of my neck and took more x-rays but I just wasn't really getting better. Then one day he told me that he went through the same process with another lady that he typically did with me, but then checked to see if her C1, C2 was still aligned after her adjusted her middle/lower back and it was not! He checked me and the same happened that day. Seemed like a huge revelation to me - he was adjusting my neck out of alignment a couple minutes after he put me in. He told me that it was not a big deal but it WAS a big deal. I had been going there for over a year - for many months, multiple times per week. I had spent thousands of dollars with him. It quite possibly was not a big deal to him, but I had wasted a lot of time and money thinking we were doing the right thing. Everyone at Intouch is extremely nice and, I believe, want to genuinely help. I started to go to another upper cervical chiropractor about 5 minutes away from Intouch and my experience was much, much better. If I tell you who it is, they take my review down. Just know there is better out there and I wish you the best on your wellness journey. read more
