Target is relying too heavily on self service lines and over whelming the only human on duty. This was not a one time occurrence it was the same situation last month. Hire more human cashiers so the human shoppers don't have to spend their weekends in long slow moving lines. Also had a pick up and if it wasn't for the kindness of the only person at the desk I would still be waiting, long lines in all areas of exit. Employees are courteous but over worked. The pleasure of shopping at Target has long since passed.

The money from sales goes back to their core mission of providing dresses for girls in need. These "frock stars" receive whatever fashion they need for prom or homecoming, at zero cost. I love the cause and have donated for the last two prom seasons, but had never actually set foot in the store before. The store is clean, well kept, and is in line with any "bigger" dress boutique that I've been to. Soooo many options! My 13-year old found a super cute dress for a wedding, tags still on, for $25. I found several items I liked too, and might go back to get something dressy for my next vacation. Black tie, juniors, little black dresses...I saw a little of everything. So here's a review about a brick and mortar store and not, you know...socks. A lot of Kohls are severely understaffed. Many suffer because of it as exhibited by lack of attention to detail. I can't tell you how irritating it is to sort through stacks of what should be straight fit dockers only to find that 1/3 of them are slim or classic fit. That doesn't happen here. This store is clean, one of the better organized I've seen in years, and the employees are great. They give you honest answers, and are genuinely nice. Do I wish they always had everything in stock? Yes. But the store has little control over that, so I'm not gonna knock them for that. I gladly drive an extra 15 minutes further just to visit this location.

Not everything was super expensive, though there were very expensive pieces. Every corner is impeccably curated and filled with beautiful, thoughtful items. Laura of Pembroke is newly on my list of places to visit when I need a gift or want to buy something for myself (you know, for when you get in that mood of just wanting to buy something for yourself).
