This place is so amazing I don't even know where to begin. If you are still going to Victoria Secrets, time for you to advance to an actual bra store. When you arrive you are immediately put in a dressing room and you get a personal bra stylist. They ask what you are looking for, styles you like, what you want your bra to do etc and then they bring the bras to you! I needed a strapless and had 3-4 different styles (who knew there would be so many) brought to me. The one I liked, the band was just a smidgeon too big but going down a whole band size was too tight. They altered that bra plus another one before I left. Blown away by all the service they offer, the women working were so extremely helpful. It feels amazing having a bra that is accurately sized just for me. Love this place. read more

What an experience! A store focused on ones naughty bits! Great friendly staff did a bra fitting and showed me tricks for getting the girls looking thier best! Best of all, they will help you custom fit a swimsuit! They have lots and lots of styles and colors and sizes. Everything from waif to real girl to whole lotta woman. A few weeks ago, I watched 5 hours of What Not To Wear on a rainy day. Stacey told the woman, "Honey, I don't want to say anything bad about the sweater, but it's your BRA! You need a new bra. I'll take you to a place that does bra fittings." I decided then and there that she was actually talking to me. I know good bras are expensive. A good bra will typically set you back 50-60 dollars. That isn't what bothered me. What bothered me was bearing it all for a fitting. Being self conscious for everything including mammos, (hearing the echo..."Oh, a B. This might be uncomfortable" more than once), I shrugged off a professional fitting until I bought ill fitting bras at Macy's. Enough was enough! I gathered up my courage and went to Intimate Designs. I walked in, filled out some paperwork. The very nice lady was the one who fitted me. I was relieved. She was around my age, possibly younger and I was comfortable with her. She bought me into a dressing room, and there were bras left over from a previous customer that were a larger size than mine. She grabbed the tape measure, and I didn't have to remove the bra I was wearing. They have bras of all sizes, and swimsuits and panties as well. She measured around my rib cage...Oh Macy's, I had the absolute correct size, but you had the wrong bra. I suddenly lost my self consciousness. She brought out 3 wonderful bras, all the same size as the ones I just returned to Macys. I changed right in front of the woman! Bared my breasts and tried each one on! If Oprah and Stacey does it, so can I. The bras she bought in to me, I loved. All of then fit They felt like my old bras. She explained to me how to fit the bra, and how to adjust it. I was totally adjusting my girls wrong this entire time! I made it a promise to my self that with each paycheck, came one of the other bras. I bought a special cleaner, and I kept my older bra. It's kind of new. She made note of the 3 bras I am interested in buying. With this new one, I'm donating 5 older ill fitting bras to the thrift store. I love my new bra. Such a great shop, so much better than those chain lingerie stores. They were so professional and knew what they were doing and gave me great advice on general about bras and taking care of them, before I even bought anything. Peyton was lovely to work with and knew her stuff - she pulled out items that really suited me and didn't try to push anything on me. I would never have contemplated going to a custom bra shop before. But a friend strongly encouraged me. That was a few years ago, now I wouldn't buy a bra anyplace else. They cost a little more but they fit perfectly, are of the highest quality and have every color and style imaginable. Plus you can get them altered or repaired so they last much longer and are a much better value. I have always worked with Alayna. Love, Love, Love this place. This is a store to buy bras, corsetes, swimsuits, etc. They will give you a proper fitting and help you find just the right bra for each outfit you have. I have been going here for about 4 years. The great thing aboout them is they actually care about you. They remember your name and what you bought last time you were in. They make repairs on the bras and other items. Lets admit it ladies we are not as nice to our bras as we should be and sometimes they need some TLC. I have had them repair popped closures, tears, had them take bras in and let them out again. They have specialty bras for nursing and post surgery. I can not say enough good things about them. They have items for every size. From tiny size 0 to size me which is, well let's just say I love food. They have every size there is really they do. It was not until I arrived at Intimate Designs that I discovered the excellence behind a good bra and how it should be properly worn. I have moved from Kansas City to Tampa and I still purchase my bras from here. Every time I visit, I make sure I set my appointment and I am always greeted by the staff, even the newer staff. Love them. They didn't oversell me, or even try, they showed me pretty options, and made notes in my client sheet about what I liked. The major difference for me (I'm a DDD-E) is the underwire. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Last week I entered the store for the first time and was only browsing for 5 minutes when my brand new white purse was accosted by their resident cat and scratched. The manager was present and apologized and said she would have the owner call me. When I didn't hear from her after a week, I called the store. The manager admitted what happened was not ok, but said there was nothing she could do and I would have to talk to the owner. When I finally did talk to the owner, (Brenda) it was a complete waste of time. She constantly interrupted me, repeated the same things over and over again that had nothing to do with the situation and was curt. Brenda flat out refused to replace my purse or offer any type of compensation and stated that purses are like shoes and neither stay pristine forever. She also stated that the purse was still functional, so it shouldn't be a problem. I suppose if the cat had ripped the straps off, I might be in a better position. She also implied that I could be lying about when the scratches occurred (as if I would walk in the store, see they have a cat and blame the poor cat for some other cat's handiwork). This owner obviously does not care about the safety and well being of her customers or their belongings and I would rather sew my own clothing than spend one cent in this store (I can't sew at all by the way). read more
