Simply put - this service helped me get a job. I had been unsuccessfully trying to get a new job for about 10 months. I felt comfortable with my cover letter and resume, and I had a decent record of being invited to interviews. My problem was that when it came to interviewing, I became so anxious and nervous, and I pretty much bombed every time. Total total total Scam ... Also bought a groupon and completed their time consuming online submission. Not a word for almost 3 weeks. Sent an email and still didn't hear anything for 4 more days. Called and the person answering said no one was in the office (on a Tuesday morning). Took my name and the very next day I got an email and attached resume and cover letter. So after all that time, they took my very own resume and literally put if bullet points, along with grammatical errors. Not to mention, wrong dates. The form email they sent described resume writing as being time consuming (OF course if you pay more for 'express', then it's not all that time consuming and you can have it in a couple of days) and what it takes to write incredible resumes (surely they weren't talking about themselves). I complained by replying to the email. Got a response from someone who's English wasn't all that impressive telling me sometimes they're imputed wrong in the system. Here's what I suspect. They are outsourcing this to India or Pakistan and that would explain they delay, obvious mistakes and the fact that on a Tuesday, there's no one in the office. I'm sure there are a few companies out there that probably add some sort of value in this field. This definitely isn't one of them. Money wasted! read more
