Yelp's review filtering system banished my recent review of Rapid Resume to the "Not Recommended" section (not sure why), so I'm reposting it below: *********** Bruce is the only person I would trust to fix up my resume. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. A little background: For years, I had been contemplating a cross country move to Los Angeles. Finally, I decided to apply to jobs in LA, but knew that my resume would require a serious revamp in order to attract the attention of local employers, especially as an out-of-state applicant. Initially, I attempted to fix my resume on my own, but quickly realized that I needed professional help. I needed a well done resume and with my background it wasn't easy. I did a lot of research, I called and interviewed different companies. Then I found Rapid resumes. I read Saba's yelp reviews, and he told me he has been doing this since the 1970's. I quickly called him and he took time to talk to me and explain how he works. It's strange with all other resume writers no one would meet me in person. I think this is important to knowing who I am and my background since mine has been quite jumpy. He listened and we made arrangements to send my old resume and then meet in person. The process was simple and clear cut. I liked the fact that he called me twice to clear up questions he had about my background. I could tell he worked many hours on my resume actually researching dream jobs I sent him and understanding what I was looking for and where I wanted to be in the near future. He does go beyond a big resume agency. He spent 3 hours with me in person (and even offered me Turkish coffee where he reads a your coffee grinds;). Here we reviewed, changed and made the finishing touches on my resume. Since I am a bit of a critic he had a lot to handle with me but he was patient and explained why he wrote things in a certain way. After 7 years of not having to touch my resume, I decided to go through a career change. I met Mr. Saba (aka: the Phenom) this past Sunday. I have never used a Résumé writer in my life. But at this point in my life, I felt I needed help with a new life and hopefully a new career. I called him around 11:30 am, Sunday morning and he generously squeezed me in at 1:30 that very same day. As I was entering his place, he had a client leaving and after working with me for 3 1/2 hours, he had another client entering.
