I used Jack's Resume Writing service recently. Being in the office workforce for over twenty years my resume was a hodgepodge of bullet points that I rarely updated. He managed to focus my skills and experiences into a cohesive career minded individual in one document. He also wrote a cover letter to go along with my CV and it made applying for jobs much easier because all I had to do was upload them for each job application I made online. The day I started using what he composed was the day I got more responses for the jobs that I applied for. If you're on the fence about getting your resume professionally rewritten don't wait. Jack Wolf is your go to person for this service -the service is great and you owe it to yourself to be noticed by his well composed documents. I highly recommend his services! read more

Jack is very commutative and is and excellent writer. My resume was a wreck and he fixed it quickly as well as my husbands. Hit him up!

Jack was very pleasant on the phone and give me a list of things he was going to do for my resume. He did seem surprised that I would hire him based on my current resume. He gave me a timeline on when he would complete each step and when he would need to talk to me more after the first draft. He didn't follow the timeline he laid out. I gave him until the day after the final draft was due before I called him. He said it would be completed the next day, then sent it over an hour later. The resume's format looked good. He definitely trimmed down what I had originally written and added a contemporary bullet point format. He did highlight some of the important areas of my resume while throwing others out. The copy he sent me had numerous grammatical errors and a few formatting errors. His cover letter was good. He also said he would do a version for my LinkedIn profile, but he didn't offer anything. I also asked him about adding a section for skills and he said he would get back to me and after 3 months still hasn't. I think Jack's work is geared towards people just entering the job market. read more

I found Jack through Linkedin Resume Writers. He reached out to me and we had about a 15 minute phone call about my resume. He was reading my original resume to me while on the phone and asked me questions about what I wanted on there and didn't want on there. He asked me to send a couple job postings so he could edit my resume to fit into the field I wanted to go into. After a week, he came back with a final draft and I asked him to fix a couple of things and he did right away along with including a cover letter. All it took was one interview where they were blown away by my resume and I got a job that I tried over 2 years and interviewed twice at in the past. Thanks to Jack and his writing, I got the job! read more

This guy got really pushy for me to pay and after I asked him give me a day, he proceeded with "I'll pass... good luck". Used car salesmen tactics don't work on me. And a 30 minute call worth of corny jokes while not discussing the end goal is a total waste of my time. And before you reply to my review...consider I took a screen shot of your pushy messages and I also have recorded the conversation. read more

Jack was recommended to me and i'm very pleased that I reached out for his services. I got two resumes done, both were amazing, and highlighted my experience and expertise in my field of work beautifully. Will be reaching out for service again and I would recommend to others! read more

I don't normally write Yelp reviews but I had a very odd experience with Jack so I thought I would share. I called Jack yesterday and had a decent conversation about Jack's resume services, towards the end of the call I asked if he would give me 24 hours to think it over. He agreed, but his demeanor changed very quickly and seemed in a hurry to get off the call after that. Somewhat understandable, I'm not a paying customer... yet so why waste his time. I read some not so great yelp reviews which gave me the impression that Jack was unprofessional and his services were for very inexperienced people in the workforce. Instead of ghosting Jack, I kindly messaged him on LinkedIn saying, "It was great speaking with you yesterday. At this time I am still reviewing other candidates but I will let you know if I decide to proceed with your services." Jack's response, "I'm going to pass, too busy right now, good luck!" Seemed like a very strange response, I would either write up a service agreement or ask for him to lay out his services in an email if you plan to work with Jack. read more

Let me preface this review with a couple things: 1. I don't like leaving Yelp reviews. As someone who was in the service industry, I think they're petty and too critical at times. 2. I'm very busy - so the ignorance in the first initial conversation from Mr. Wolf compelled me to write the below. 3. I didn't actually hire him, however, I spoke to him on the phone and had sent over my previous resume with instructions of how I wanted it tailored. He starts asking me where I grew up, if the high school I went to was public or private (which is irrelevant in my opinion), makes a super offensive comment about the Cal State I attended, and then proceeds to tell me that he decided to pass on me after I told him I was going to hire another resume writer. LOL! Did he think he got rejected on a date or something? The ignorance and lack of professionalism baffled me and I told him I would be writing this review, so here I am. I've worked with 2 other resume services/writers in the past and they have never made me feel inadequate or ask me one-off questions about where I grew up or comment on the college I attended. You know in someone's tone of voice when they're trying to get to know you or just trying to identify you, aka put you in a box. This was all business for me and it clearly wasn't for Jack Wolf. Lastly, I would like to note he requires payment before even seeing a draft, etc. The resume writer I decided to go with told me they would not charge a single dime until the revision was completed and I was happy with the product. Jack, feel free to comment since you seem to provide a rebuttal on other reviews. Regards, Nicole read more

First call and he felt it was appropriate to bring up the former mascot to my alma mater which was the Red Men - To which I noted was an insensitive term, which he used as an opportunity to go on a rant about the plethora of ethnic groups that have been used as mascots and started rambling about needing to make martians mascots since they won't be offended by everything like other racial groups.... Yea... nuts. It was an off putting conversation to say the least. Not sure if he saw my picture on Linkedin and took it as an opportunity to make racial jokes but it made me extremely uncomfortable. Seems like he has bigger issues going on, namely ignorance, poor social skills, and lack of professionalism. I would not trust this individual with ANY personal information, resume included. read more

Consider this a zero star review. I found Jack via LinkedIn's professional services page and hired him to write me a new resume. I should have figured there was a good reason he charged less than what others had bid (as the old saying goes...you get what you pay for). After a week of waiting, I finally got my new resume after having to reach out to him to check on the status. When I finally did receive the resume it was full of grammatical and a few very obvious spelling errors. In addition, he did not include the cover letters he promised. When I reached out to him to give him my feedback his response was only that he "stood by the work he did." At no point did he own up to the mistakes he made but instead played defense the whole time. Not to mention revising my resume with an obvious snarky jab towards me. Bottom line was he was completely unprofessional about it. After some back and forth I ended up asking for my money back which he refused so now I am having to take this up with PayPal. I'll probably end up losing the dispute but that's not going to stop me from telling anyone and everyone how awful this experience was. Edit - In response to Jack's comment about my review, as he would say "I stand by my review." I guess it should come as no surprise to me that Jack's response would be to call me a liar since this is precisely the problem I have had with this experience. Point out his mistakes and instead of apologizing for them or trying to make the situation right, he will dig in. I am not trying to sully this guy's name or business but instead to leave an honest review of my experience in hiring this so-called professional. Sure he has a lot of recommendations on LinkedIn (which is partly because there is no way to leave critical reviews on LinkedIn) and I am sure he has done good work for people. That was just not my experience and although he claims to have no negative Yelp Reviews, savvy readers would have caught Andrea L.'s 2016 Tip which sounds identical to my experience. Also, you might want to check out his Google reviews. I sure wish I had done so before wasting my time and money with this guy. The bottom line is this - I had a bad experience and instead of trying to do right by me, Jack has acted and continues to act, completely unprofessionally. Go ahead and hire him if you want. It literally makes no difference to me. Just make sure you run a spell check on that new resume because apprently he can't be bother to. read more

Resume, cover letter, strategy session, it was all included and better than advertised. I thought he was joking when he gave me the price because it was so competitive compared to what I heard from others. I literally requested no revisions because the resume was perfect. The one change I asked for on the cover letter was returned promptly. I don't write many reviews unless someone goes above and beyond. This is the nicest resume I've ever had and it was completed exactly when he promised. Jack had great communication, was articulate, creative and even funny. Thanks for your help and expediency. read more

Jack Wolf masterfully refreshed my resume after not needing one for 8 years. I found my self entering in to the job search market, and just knew much has changed since I was last there. I wasn't getting any hits on my LinkedIn for quite some time, so I recruited Mr. Wolf for a new resume. Once I uploaded that , within a day, I received 40% increase on my views, and three phone calls from companies searching for applicants. One of those calls may have landed me the job I was looking for. I am very grateful for his professionalism, his knowledge, and the comfort I felt when speaking to him about what I needed. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing a résumé that works. read more

Working with Jack has been a pleasure. He has helped me immensely every step of the way.

I reached out to Jack Wolf to freshen up my resume, he was funny, professional and efficient. Jack asked me questions about my current position, asked me to send over a copy of my current resume and what type of job I was looking for. Within 48 hours he sent me over a rough draft, asked me to review it and send it back with any comments, I did, and he sent me over the final draft within a day. A year later I realized my resume was on a computer I no longer had access to, so I emailed him for a copy and he sent it by days end. Great service! Thank You! read more
