I HATED, absolutely HATED how they did my cheek makeup and contouring -- the wrong color, and I looked (IMHO) clownish. My eye makeup looked fab, but it started looking more and more goth as the day wore on. The makeup artist didn't remember that I said I use mascara primer. After looking at the proof sheets, we found a some very good photos and some really great ones, albeit the makeup mess and that I needed contouring.
