People may question (as they did in my experience) why you're paying to have your resume rewritten. Let me just say: it's a complete overhaul and the results speak for themselves. My former resume was a boring canvas of black and white. Competing with other creative professionals for job opportunities, there's no doubt that this put me at a disadvantage; however, I still felt lost as to how to proceed in expressing my strengths or demonstrating any set-me-apart flair in my resume. After working with Amanda over the course of two weeks, I finally felt confident--proud, even--in delivering my resume. Of the responses and interviews that almost immediately followed, the one comment that repeatedly came up was that of excellent taste and style. Within weeks, I landed a job I never thought I could. I attribute a massive part of getting my foot in the door for that first opportunity to my decision to work with WIC. In the digital age and a competitive job market where first impressions are key, make the investment and set yourself apart.

The back and forth process of creating my resume was thorough. The writer and editor teamed up to…read moremake the process easy and within the time they said. I'd say that's worth the price tag. They even made suggestions of how to apply properly and with which format, etc. All that being said, I've had my re-written resume for 3 months, have used it to apply to over 50 positions, and have gotten 0 interviews. I'm even applying to jobs that I (believe I) am overqualified for. I've gotten some feedback from people in HR that my new resume is too wordy and challenging to follow. So I don't think it's my career history or me, I think that my newly re-written resume is just not working.

By far, her resume rewrite and overhaul helped springboard my job search. To anyone who has not looked for work since before the pandemic, job hunting has changed! As a former recruiter, Sara is on top of all trends and provides sound advice and suggestions, backed by current metrics. She is an expert in personal branding and helping you stand out from the crowd. This is achieved through her LinkedIn optimization and Total Interview Program (TIP). Sara showed me how to customize each resume for job applications, quickly and efficiently. The group TIP coaching calls were also beneficial, to network with other job seekers and provide support for one another. Having an expert I could reach out to with questions (and there were many) was key -- this gave me confidence and focus with many of the action steps I did (or didn't) take. Sara makes herself very available, by phone, email and text! Most importantly, Sara helped me regain trust and confidence in myself after an abrupt layoff, the first of my career. I will not hesitate to recommend Sara Camilo to others!
