When I found Julia, I was in complete despair. College application deadlines were around the corner, and my daughter hadn't even started the process. My review may sound funny or dramatic to some who are reading it prior to working with Joanne. Well, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for Joanne. The way Joanne showed up for us was above and beyond my expectations. I am an immigrant with no experience of the college admissions process in the USA. My oldest child applied to colleges all on his own. Up on receiving the acceptance letters, he was uncertain which direction to go in the midst of a pandemic. I decided to reach out to Joanne to consult my son and assist with the decision process. Joanne took the time to listen to him, it was clear that she was experienced and an expert with the process. More so, Joanne demonstrated a genuine understanding and compassion to the emotional side of the process.
