Do not waste your time of money on this place. Doctor asked me two questions and did not examine me. Just awful.

Just had my first appointment and cannot say enough great things about this facility. From my…read morefirst phone call to meeting the Doctor everything went smoothly. I was in serious pain and was seen on the same day I made the call, that in itself is amazing. Upon arrival, the staff was professional and very concerned about my condition. They listened closely as I described my ailment and told me everything that they were doing. When Dr. Blake came in I was very nervous and she recognized my heighten state. She took her time examining me and throughout the process she remained very calm and explained what she was doing. She gave me her diagnosis along with a follow-up treatment plan. The staff then proceeded to take care of all the follow-up appointments needed, from booking my MRI to calling my PCP to get prior approval. That has never happened to me with any other Doctor's office. Usually I'm the one making all the calls. I wish I could give Boston Pain Specialist a perfect 10 but 5 is the highest on Yelp. I totally recommend them if you are looking for caring and professional people.

I HIGHLY recommend this as your go to place for relieving pain. Thank you to all of you!

Dr. Garas is one of the best doctors I have ever met. From the moment I met him, I could tell houch…read morehe cares about his patient. He listened so patiently and explained everything in great detaiL. His bedside manner is unmatched. I would recommend Dr. Garas to everyone!

I was referred to this clinic after several years of chronic low back pain and seeing numerous…read morespecialists without receiving a clear diagnosis. I provided my medical notes, imaging, and medical history for the doctor to review, and explained how frustrating it has been to live with ongoing pain that nobody seems able to diagnose. After reviewing my records, he referred me to physical therapy for the second time and sent me on my way. He did not perform a physical examination, and the appointment lasted less than 10 minutes. I paid a $50 copay for an appointment that left me feeling as though my concerns had not been taken seriously. After completing six physical therapy sessions without improvement, I reached back out, hoping for further investigation or a discussion of what to do next. Instead, I was told to return to physiatry, which is where I had started in the first place. When I asked why I was being referred back to physiatry, I was given no meaningful explanation beyond being told that the doctor had been recommended because his background is in physiatry. This did not answer my question or explain how returning to the same type of specialist would help move forward with a proper diagnosis. The entire experience felt dismissive. I came to this clinic hoping for a thorough evaluation and a fresh perspective after years of trying to find answers. Instead, I felt rushed, unheard, and left without a clear plan. After years of chronic pain, I was hoping for a provider who would take the time to listen, perform an appropriate examination, and investigate possible causes rather than simply send me back to where I started. Patients deserve to feel that their concerns are taken seriously, especially when they have spent years searching for answers.
