Beyond grateful for the help I received just now from this business. My car showed the battery icon and instead of running my errands I thought to try this business. I have gone here before for my key fob but not for my car battery. I walked in and the gentleman at the counter immediately helped me and confirmed my battery would need replacement. He quickly found the battery I needed and sent out another co-worker to start the installation. And once we were done at the register he went to help with installation. I was out of there in 20 mins and my car started! I should have got their names but I was in a slight state of panic I didn't ask or look. If the manager or owners of this business is reviewing this please know that the two guys working on this date and around this time (because I immediately came home and wrote this review) are top notch and deserve any bit of reward they can receive. Get them really great lunch or more! Thank you!!!! Customer service goes a long way and I am grateful. read more

5 Stars Interstate Batteries in Hayward is the real deal! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredible--friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help right away. The store is super clean and well-organized, which made the whole experience even better. The store manager Miguel is awesome, he's been here since day one and it shows that he cares, I originally saw Interstate batteries at Costco, but let me tell you--they are not the same. Cheaper battery with the Interstate logo. The quality at this store is on a whole different level. The battery I'm replacing is an interstate battery that's almost 10 years old. The batteries here are built to last, and I'm so glad I trusted my instincts and came straight to the source. They even offer installation starting at just $40, Jimmie, Rohan and Andrew helped and I was in and out in ten minutes, which is a great deal--especially for someone like me who wouldn't know where to start. And it's not just car batteries--they have batteries for everything. If they don't have what you need, they'll order it for you. They even handle car keys--seriously impressive! Thank you to the team at Interstate Batteries in Hayward. You've definitely earned a customer for life! read more

They charge me for core but don't want to reimburse me when I brought my battery.very disappointed with interstate .

I could not believe what me and my husband had to endure today at this business. Walked into the store and we were immediately drowned out by a female employee who was screaming at a customer on the phone. Her voice filled the entire room to the point I could barely speak to the young man who I asked to replace my watch battery. She could care less that we were customers who had to endure her loud rant. When she finally got off the phone she looked at me with a dirty look. How can this business keep an employee who is extremely RUDE? I felt sorry for the young man who has to work with her. I don't know her name, but if the business wants to know her description... heavy set butch. We have come to this place many times over the years and the employees are always helpful and professional. This is the first time seeing her and hopefully never see or hear her voice again. read more

The people working there are very nice. I had 2 watches in need of batteries & had a chance to look around a little. I noticed they now can replace your key fob battery but your fob also. Check this place out. read more

Staff need to relearn greeting customers. If you didn't speak, they will not speak to you. I vote poor customer service..

Found this store on Yelp. I knew I wanted a particular Interstate battery for my car and this store made it so convenient. I didn't know Interstate had franchise stores like this. Miguel was super friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up getting the battery I wanted at a good price and also picked up a jumpstarter. They gave me a few bucks off the jumpstarter for buying the battery. I had a hand injury and one of the guys kindly carried my core inside from my car and also loaded my new battery in my trunk. I highly recommend this store. read more

Fixed my key fob for $3.99 . My remote stopped working I figured it was the battery so I brought it in. They replaced the battery in 1 minute. They also took my remote and hooked it up to a machine that made sure it would work properly with a simple battery change. Highly recommend this place for all battery needs. No more trying to figure out how to replace those tiny weird batteries when I can just bring my items here and they will do it for me. read more

It was that time for me to change my car battery. I remembered passing by Interstate All Battery Center from my many visits to this plaza. I came here yesterday and was greeted as soon as I walked in. The gentleman working the counter assisted me with finding the right battery for my car. He was very attentive and courteous. Once he located the needed battery, I paid for it and install fee. Since it wasn't busy, my battery was installed in less than 5 minutes. I definitely would recommend coming here for you automotive battery needs. The warranty for my battery wasn't bad either! They also do watch battery replacements. read more

To the "older" gentleman working today, 11/21/18 @ 10:30am- thank you for your outstanding customer service, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised with your store and look forward to our next visit! After eating breakfast a few doors down, I noticed the battery store. My husband then said he had a watch in the middle console that needed to be changed. We then walked in and was greeted pleasantly with a smile. After waiting a few minutes the gentleman behind the counter began working on my hubby's watch. The complete watch battery change took no more than 10 minutes and we were able to learn and chit chat with the employee on what this store offers and what services provide. I recommend this store for ALL battery needs, they do it all: car batteries, watch batteries, flashlight batteries, key fob batteries and more! read more

My battery has been turning a bit slower with this temperature change, knew it was time and I would only buy an Interstate battery, called them up, quickly answered my call, got a price and a name, Miguel, very helpful. Driven there and was done within 15 minutes, If there was a complaint, it's about the price, but quality costs and this is worth it read more

Sheisty AF. I bring my battery in for testing. They called me the next day to tell me to come get it, it's good. I brought it back told them I don't think it's good. They tested again and determined it wasn't. Strike one. So I got a quote for a new one. When I I got there they said my car actually requires a bigger battery = more expensive. Sounds like the ol bait and switch but I needed it. Strike two. Fast forward a few years and it dies. I bring it in for warranty. They looked at the battery and said it's no longer under warranty even though it clearly says 5 years warranty on the battery label. I show him my receipt. He said ok it's still under warranty which means I get 10% off a new one. Huh??? What kind of warranty is that. They give more just for the core trade in. Strike three. I argued and they said that's how it goes. I left with the battery, auto zone batteries are cheaper and they'll give me more for the trade in. And unlike this dump, they actually honor their warranties. read more

Quick and easy service! The battery in my car key died and being that it was the first time that this happened to me, I struggled with how to replace it. (What kind of battery does this take? Do I need to go to Honda?) Being that we are on lockdown and we aren't really driving around, it took a month or two before I finally decided to get this fixed. I came right when they opened and was out the door within ten minutes! The guy who helped me was so nice and ended up changing the battery for me. AND it was super inexpensive! Definitely coming here for all my battery needs :) read more

Mohammad really helped me out today. My car died twice on my way to Interstate All Battery Center but I managed to make it there. I knew my battery was the problem but I didn't know just how bad it was. Apparently corrosion had completely taken over my battery to the point where I may have needed to replace the cables or wires or whatever it is that makes the connection (I'm not so good with cars.) Mohammad was patient with me and took his time to get hot water and tools to completely clean my battery. I know that if it were someone else- they would've probably told me to replace the whole thing- which would've cost me so much more I'm sure. But Mohammad knew that he could clean it up for and save me time/money. So he did. He did an amazing job and was able to get rid of all the corrosion that had built up and even taught me how to clean it myself to prolong the battery life. He is a hard worker and really cares about what he puts his hands on. I would highly recommend his service and appreciate the time and energy he took to do the best job possible. Thank you Mohammad and Interstate All Battery Center! read more

I've passed by here a couple times so when My dad needed some batteries replaced on his watches I knew just where to go. The space is very open, there's always plenty of parking and it's located on the corner of a strip so it's very easily accessible from all angles. The store has some TVs set up while you wait, and there are also about 2 or 3 aisle of stud to buy. As I stated earlier we came in for some battery replacement for some watches. It's $8.99 per watch which is an amaaazing price compared to those little boutiques in the mall which charge much more. We took in 3 watches and waited no more than 10 minutes- which flew by thanks to the TVs and chairs that they put for customers. The staff was all really nice and welcoming and overall a really good experience, would definitely come back with any other battery need. read more

Awesome job! Contacted me within 5 minutes of request! Gave me price of battery and installation so no hidden fees! Definitely recommend!

My car keys were water damaged and I saw a sign stating this place has car keys. The lady in the front is not friendly. When I inquired about key repairs she said we don't fix house key. She assumed that I needed house keys. When I asked about the car keys, she said only if we have them in stock. I stopped there and didn't inquire about their stock because the lady is rude and unprofessional. She made assumptions about my request without listening first. Don't come here for car keys! You're better off going to southland mall. read more

Great service! Great delivery and response rate! Highly recommended! I reached out though yelp to John the operations manager inquiring about car battery installations and received a response in less than an hour with all the details needed. After some back and forth we scheduled a home visit where we had a technician come out to our location to change car batteries on both our cars. Within 45 mins both cars were done and equipped with premium car batteries at a fraction of the price that a dealership would charge you. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out before you do anything for any and all of your battery needs. Great find! And hanks again guys for everything! read more

This shop is an excellent alternative for automotive car battery replacement. You can go to your dealer, pay a premium price and wait all day, or your mechanic who might need to order a battery and charge you labor and shop time, or do it yourself with a battery from an auto parts store and mess up the smog codes. Do yourself a favor and stop by Interstate. Professional and courteous staff will get you out in less than 30 minutes. They'll test and confirm the condition of your battery and show you the results. There's the cost of the battery and a modest installation fee. If you own a modern car - really anything after 1997 - you'll appreciate the technical services of the installation: they'll connect a remotely powered unit via the OBDII to maintain the vehicle's emission control codes and other critical electronic sensors. The installation includes cleaning the terminals and a protective coating. Highly recommended shop. Ask them about their other battery related services too. read more

If you know that your car is having a battery issue, then this is the place to go. They come right out to your car, test the battery/charging and if it's indeed a battery issue, sell you a new battery and replace your dying one. All in less than half an hour. Best of all, they do it right in front of you, so you get to see exactly what they are doing. Eric was the guy that diagnosed and replaced the dying battery in my relatively new minivan. He was fast, courteous, and knowledgeable. So yeah, it's not the first place that you'd think of, when it comes to servicing your car battery, but it should be the only place. I'm so glad they have another store near my house, in Redwood City. read more

They seem nice over the phone but as soon as I got there the niceness went out the window. Wasn't informative at all. They did check my battery which was expected but the employee that checked my battery seem to have brushed me off. I was expecting a charge and didn't get that. Not helpful at all! These guys suppose to specialize in battery services but i got nothing but Amateur services from this particular employee.
