I found a true gem. I am a woman that has had issues with my skin all my life. I live in Queens and I tend to frequent Jamaica Avenue. I was looking to get some food so I checked out Jamaica Market. While there I came across a wonderful find. There is a make-up counter called Interskin Beauty there. I can honestly say that I was really surprised at how this counter was presented. Although it was very small, it is put together very well with great music and a pleasant atmosphere. The women were very professional and I loved their products. My favorite product is the complexion correction 3 in 1 black soap. I use it on a daily basis and I see the difference that my skin has had since I have started using it. The blemishes on my skin are going away and I couldn't be happier. I also got my eyebrows done and purchased a new tool that I have never seen before. It's called the Eyebrow Powder (dark brown). I would recommend it to anyone that likes to have their eyes be naturally beautiful. The price fits the value of the product. They made me an appointment for next week and I will be going. I've always seen this place, while going to the the Jamaica market to get food and never stopped until last week. i must say I'm very happy i did, the place is a bit small but has a wide variety of so many different products (had to really control myself). First off, I love that there are so many shades to choose from ,distinguished by cool, warm, or neutral, dark , light and anything in between, which guarantees that you'll find the perfect one for you. I am a dark skinned women, and i honestly have a problem with finding my color until i came across island jam collage powder. I've worn this on several occasions and cant get enough of it. The eye shadows have a great color/pigmentation, they are long lasting and blend in perfectly if they are mix correctly. But I love them in general and i will purchase again when I run out of them. By the end of the day I just look shiny and natural and loving how i feel and the look There's a black soap that i really want to try for blemishes, so this will be my next buy and ill keep every one posted on how it works for me. UnI Visited this makeup counter last week and purchased some skincare products..I had some black spots for ages on my face and I never could get something to remove them...this lady called me over to the counter and did a demonstration and explained the skincare to me carefully . .she insisted that it would help with my problem skin.so I decided to purchase the products. .I am writing this to say I am so Amazed with the products.it has work wonders to my skin I am happy to say I have no more discoloration.i bought the blemish repair form wash as a face wash and Skin lightening creme... they also gave me a free makeover those girls are wonderful makeup artist ..great makeup for women of color. ..love love love this place.... very pleased with the services they provided for me will forever be interskin beauty customer.. read more

I visited the interskin beauty and cosmetics counter here on 160 and Jamaica Ave with my sister who suffers from problematic skin and discoloration disorders.. one of the beauty representatives saw her and immediately recommend that she use their complexion corrector black soap due to the fact her skin type was dry and a bit of combination.. they were very welcoming.. not making us feel like they were selling anything to us but encouraging a good relationship between the individual and the business... A month ago I was visiting the area and after passing by the booth I thought I would try out Interskin Beauty. The women would very nice and welcoming. I never used a razor on my eyebrows and am very particular about them. They did a fantastic job though. I am very impressed. The woman really worked with the natural contours of your face and how to best enhance your natural beauty with the shape of your eye brows. money well spent!
