The solution to this? The stylist, Elizabeth just added dye to cover up the highlights. The end result? Darker hair than I had previously. I could have easily bought a box of hair color and dyed my hair if I wanted this. Went to the owner to find some resolution, he was rude, arrogant and dismissive. The wash was bare minimum (I had to brush it myself), the cut was a rushed straight-across trim, and when a small knot couldn't be removed, that section was simply cut shorter. The blow dry was almost nonexistent and only done after I insisted; it wasn't fully dried and was finished with a flat iron. The entire service took about 20 minutes and cost $90. These prices might make sense in LIC or Manhattan, but the service here isn't remotely comparable. The space is run down, there's no atmosphere, and no real customer service. It felt like a rip-off, and I won't be returning.
