Even though they moved one block down, their service stayed consistent in the best way possible. I can always rely on Stella to style my hair the way I want it and the way that looks best. On the day of my cousin's wedding, I came to Stella for an updo. I received multiple compliments about the curls and I was even impressed how they stayed curly throughout the night. My hair is kind of heavy, so I expected the curls to loosen after a couple of hours, but they stayed! Stella is good at her craft of microblading. You have to speak firm with her to get WHT YOU want. She tries to give you what she thinks. When I pay for a service, I want what I pay for. Your opinion matters not Stella. Beware with Stella, she's like a car salesman. She said she would give me $20 discount for 2 reviews. I have to say that this shop doesn't cater to its clients! I made an appointment with on of the stylists ( whose name I will leave out) upon arriving at the shop on time I waited for someone to at least acknowledge my presence? Finally I walked over to one and gave my name and inquired if my appointment was on Oh yes was told she will be late I asked for her to be called to let her know I was on time and that she should come ASAP!a call was placed and stylist called back and said she was on her way! I only knew this bcs I overheard and not bcs anyone shared this info with me!!! I sat and waited and waited another 15 minutes and then I just walked out! I don't know why I have not reviewed the salon until now but here goes. I have been going here for quite some time and have been seeing Sally. She is very sweet and proficient at what she does. My hair is long and requires color every 6 weeks or so. It always looks wonderful when we get done. Color adjustments are made when the seasons change, a little lighter in warmer months, but it always looks good. I a not the type to fuss over my hair so a plain cut works best for me. Bad experience in this place. I went there last week for a beautiful highlights and hair cut but Rossana didn't do a good job, she did a multicolor highlights like a parrot, it was terrible for me, she did a horrible job. I never in my life recommend this lady or place because all the people who work there don't disinfected the chairs before seating the costumers, they don't use gloves except the lady who wash the hair. They go outside to buy something and when they go back NEVER wash or disinfect their hands. read more

I've gotten my hair cut here 6 times. The first 4 were fine... a little pricier than some nearby salons but they did a nice job. The 5th time my stylist arrived to work about 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Then the 6th time, my stylist hadn't arrived yet almost 30 minutes after my appointment time, and the salon was almost closing. All of the other stylists were busy. So I walked down the street to Rita's and got a perfect hair cut with extremely professional staff, for $10 less than Natural Identity charges. I don't know about the rest of the hairstylist, but I go there strictly for my favorite Dana. Everyone is extremely nice and warm there in general, but as a hairstylist Dana tops it off. She has been literally putting up with my blonde experiments for about a year now and every time I walk out looking fabulous. She is one of few hairstylist left that actually will listen and cut that 2 inches instead of 10 like all the hairdressers tend to do. Very very knowledgeable as well. Ok.... so I found a deal on Groupon for this salon in hopes to make a long term salon relationship, and receive amazing results... Here's my story upon my visit.... Arrived and was appointed Dana as my stylist. She seemed irritated for whatever reason but whatever. We greeted one another and she was to color my roots, give me a hot oil treatment, and a blow dry. On Groupon I paid $62.00 not bad. The place looked like it needed an upgrade but it was doable. The clientele was older caucasian females. The energy from the other stylist was blahh... but I already arrived and paid so what the heck... I decided to proceed. As Dana continued with the color touch up. I was approached by an elderly woman that was on a thousand! She was pacing around the salon approaching anyone who would listen to talk about nonsense really. She talked our ears off for approximately 15 minutes this was extremly awkward and annoying. I just wanted to chill and relax. Finally she takes off! At this point Dana is done with applying the color. Exactly 2 minutes later another elderly women starts screaming at the top of her lungs " Dana close the F***king door i'm cold and my hair is wet!" everyone gets quite. I'm blown away! How could you speak to another person like that? Dana says" Other people are hot!" The elderly women responds " I don't give 2 f***ks i'm cold damit!" We were even more shocked! One women responds "Ma'am i'm hot!" the elderly women responds" I don't care didn't you hear me the first time, my head is wet and I could care less, Dana close the dayum door!" The rant continues for at least 5 minutes until Dana closes the door. At this point I just want to leave, but I have color in my hair lol. I decided once again to wait this one out...Dana now seems 100% irritated. She let's my color sit as she blow dry's the irate elderly women's hair. Finally, it's time for my shampoo, conditioner, and hot oil treatment. There was a shampoo lady in the back who proceeded with this part. She was ok, but real light with the shampoo felt more like a very light massage. I rather a little more aggression. It was now time for my blow dry. Most people would be excited about this part. I was until keeping it real went wrong! Ok so my hair is transitioning from relaxed to natural. It doesn't take a genius to see the texture difference especially after it's wet. Dana confirmed that was the case, I said yes. She then proceeded to blow dry my hair which was fine, but I noticed my hair became unusually brittle and extremely dry. At the end of the blow dry session my hair was stiff and limp. My hair is kinda thick so I was concerned. Then I asked if she could flat iron it as it looked like I could of done this myself. She agreed, and I was hopeful. She asked me to make my own part in my hair which was strange but whatever. I did, and she starts to flat iron my hair in huge chunks. You need TLC for my hair type as it's transitioning Dana! One must section it in small quantities for better results. Dana goes over the huge chunks like 6 times. An experienced stylist knows to apply flat iron heat no more than 2-3 times over the same area. As a result, my hair looked fried and thirsty as ever! More thirsty than a cactus! In fact, If it had a voice it would of said " I'M THIRSTY AF hydrate me!" I was so disappointed at the end of the flat iron but held in my opinion. Then the irate caucasian elderly women says to Dana "Are you straightening her hair? "Dana says "yes"the elder responds -"I want you to do that to my hair next time" Dana says " you don't need this your hair is easy" I think to myself, well that was offensive and ignorant. At this point I choose not to entertain two ignorant people, and wait this awful experience out. At last, my hair is done, and dry and limp. I decided to go to the bathroom and massage my own serum in my roots. I say take care as in my mind I will never return to this little shop of horror. I was approached by the receptionist whom stated that there was a service fee of an additional $20. What the h**ll? First of all lady tips are based on service and experience. In addition, are you kidding me? After the ratched experience I accrued in this place? I WISH I WOULD PAY ANYTHING EXTRA! here's your tip....., GET YOUR LIFE! and treat your 1st time customers with respect, outstanding service, and be polite. I will never return nor recommend this place to anyone for the rest of my entire life! #getittogether ppl! The checks in the mail! read more

GIRLS... I absolutely love this Salon... Diana is simply amazing !! I will start by saying how I can into the salon with horrible eyebrows, lashes and left looking like a beauty queen. Diana, took her time with my eyebrows and made them perfect! She was so gentle, clean , took her time and answered all my questions since I'm a newbie.. I also ended up getting my eyelashes done and that was even more amazing!!! Love Diana! I will definitely come back for a fill in and a touch. Btw, can't beat these prices. read more
