The haircut was mediocre. Upon completing the cut, the owner informed me that she no longer accepted credit cards etc. since her website etc. said she did, I did not bring cash. I offered to Zelle her the money. BIG MISTAKE. She claimed she never got it. Was rude about it despite my showing her a confirmation of the payment matching the info. I felt bad for her as obviously her salon had been struggling. I came in and gave her a cash payment and asked her to reverse the Zelle. She did not. This lady is a scam artist or poor business person, either way the haircut was not worth it and I definitely will not return. read more

I got married recently on a day that rained, and wasn't able to take all the pictures my husband and I planned on. My photographer offered us a reshoot for today and my wedding day hair/makeup artist wasn't available. I scrambled to find a suitable replacement and did a yelp search for my area. I came across All About the Tress which had great reviews and was 4 minutes from my house. I called and made an appointment with Danielle. She was fantastic! I showed her a pic of what I wanted (a down do with added extensions) and it turned out amazing! The way she placed the extensions you'd never know it wasn't my own hair. Overall: A+ To start i have been growing my hair out for 1 1/2 years and have not gotten the ends trimmed since i started so I was definitely due for a trim (I also delayed due to covid). I called the day of to schedule an appointment for the same day which I was happy to get. I arrived early to check in and wait for my scheduled time, rather than let me wait one of the staff members starts to wash my hair and gets me seated at one of the stations. So far being there I noticed how clean everything was and how the staff were wearing their masks and keeping a safe distance. The hairstylist Edel introduced herself and i was happy that the staff informed her that all i wanted was a trim, blowdry and flat iron. I hate going to places and they cut more than what you ask for do something that you didn't want with Edel that was not the case. She slowly cut the tips and showed me what she was cutting. After that she blow dried my hair so straight that I could've asked her not to flat iron but I enjoyed the work that she was doing. Staff: was very welcoming, warming and professional. They informed me that they do keratin which i will call and schedule next. Environment: Very clean, good music, friendly staff and customers. Result: My hair felt great and better than I expected. Its been over 10 yrs since ive dyed/processed my hair or changed my style so I was was super nervous "taking the plunge" with the change. Subpar service. They never really listen to what you want and they're always trying to do whatever they think works. Multiple times I've left from a hair cut with a random strand longer than the rest. I got highlights done here one year ago and my hair is still damaged. I had asked for lighter strands that go with my dark hair & tan skin. My hair was just bleached. No transition. Clean place tho. They don't offer any suggestions of treatment for damaged hair which I returned with. No recommendations. They just don't care what state your hair is in. Since then I have stopped coming here. Won't be back either. Bad haircuts and bad highlights. read more

Today I visited All About The Tress for my first appointment with Danielle. The salon was cozy, clean and nicely decorated. Danielle patiently answered all my questions and listened to my concerns and what I wanted. I had a full head of highlights, root-touch up, cut/shaping, and blow dry. Danielle delivered exactly what I asked for (base color, highlight color), 100% on the nose! Equally as important, she is a sweet, down to earth, nice person, and she spent a lot of time with me. This was once a great salon. I've been going there for 2 years. However the management has changed and it has become a very unprofessional environment. The owner Ana talks about other customers when they aren't there. She also treats her staff poorly and talks down to them in front of people. She constantly discusses her personal relationship problems with the customers. Worst of all she seems to be under the influence of some type of drug. She nods off while doing people's hair. Another customer told me she made an appointment with her and when she arrived the salon was closed. I was VERY stunned to hear Anna tell me she was willing to keep her salon open for an extra 2 hours just so I can get my hair blown out for a wedding I am attending the next day. Three years ago I walked into Anna's salon after having a terrible experience at an Aveda salon. My hair was so damaged that it was breaking off, and it looked and felt like it had been singed. I was in despair because it seemed that chopping it all off was my only option at that point. Anna was so kind and understanding of my situation, and assured me it wouldn't have to come down to that. As she began to explain what she thought the best treatment plan would be, her knowledge, professionalism, and high level of expertise and efficiency at what she does was shining through with each word. And she delivered! I now go to her every week for a blowout, and get my highlights and Brazilian blowout done there regularly. I'll never put my hair in anyone else's hands. She went from being my hairstylist, to someone I call my friend. She has developed a reputation for outstanding job performance with all of her customers. The immaculate condition she keeps her salon in is evidence of the high standards she upholds to. She stays on top of the latest styles, hair treatments and products, which are always of high quality. I'll start with the pros: It's a very nice location and the staff is quite nice. That's pretty much all the positive things I can say about this salon. I've been here twice, once for a blow out and once for the color and cut. The blowout was nice and just the way I wanted it. The only problem was that it only lasted for about 20 min. Usually my blowouts last a couple of days, not a couple of minutes. And now to the color and cut(the reason I will never return). I came in with multiple pictures of what I wanted, a shoulder length cut and very light blonde hair(almost bleach blonde but not quite). My hair was already blonde, just faded and my roots were completely grown out. After putting the color in and then rinsing it out, I asked to use the bathroom. When I looked in the mirror, I almost cried. My hair was orange!!! Not even a subtle brassy tint but completely orange! I told my stylist (the owner) and she told me it only looked like that because it was wet. I've been a blonde my whole life, I've never had may hair turn orange when it was wet! She was very stubborn and kept implying that it was blonde and began to blow dry it. I was on the verge of tears that whole time sitting in that chair. After I mentioned to her one more time that is was orange, she finally admitted that it does look orange and that she would put toner in it. After the toner it was a little better it still had and orange tint. Nonetheless, if you're looking to dye your hair blonde go to the hair salon across the street. They saved me from looking like a carrot. read more
