When it comes to cafes in Manly one is spoilt for choice, which for those unfamiliar with the area can be a benefit or a pain (especially when it is too hard to decide and you jump from menu to menu). After checking out the deli cafe up the road we opted for the casual and quieter Interpolitan a little further down the street.
The cafe is situated several blocks from the main strip in Manly, on a corner a block back from the beach and receives plenty of light. A mostly unimproved building, it features your usual quirky cafe finishings, including colanders used as lampshades on the ceiling.
We only ordered smoothies and some banana bread and muffins to share which were delivered promptly by the friendly staff and delicious. Cannot comment on the coffee or cooked options but it all looked pretty good and for standard cafe fare. Low risk casual option in my opinion. read more
