This place is the best price and the only place i go for stickers of any kind, flyers, or printing. Moishe is personable and does a great job. They even can turn around stickers or prints/flyers within a day or on super short notice, which comes in super handy. You won't find anything better or for a better price in the city. read more

The Internet Garage is a great business. They're quick and worked within my budget for creating a batch of poster books. I go to them for basic printing needs and for bigger jobs. Serge is helpful in setting up documents and Moishe is personable and reliable. Highly recommended! read more

This place is pretty cool. The employees are all pretty friendly and helpful, the equipment is okay and the prices are great. The only thing I dislike is that it needs a more chill feel, perhaps a cozy couch or comfortable chairs. I like the Internet garage because it's right next to a cute cafe where you can grab coffee or a delicious cake without leaving out the door, I also like that it closes late and it's in the heart of Williamsburg. Agree with the bad reviews of this place. As other reviewers have said $1 for 6 minutes is far too expensive. The place also feels unclean. Dirty keyboards, sometimes even sticky. Printers are always jamming and having problems, and on top of that the workers there accuse customers of stealing or cheating them on their mediocre copies. Horrible. For printing I prefer the FedEx down the street. Sad when I prefer a chain over a small business, but Internet Garage is really not a place people should go. read more

I found this gem today when searching for a place to print/scan some documents. The place is cozy and filled with inspiring artwork. I came in, mentioned that I needed to print out a document, sign some stuff, and then re-scan it into a PDF. Sergio is awesome -- he immediately printed my documents after I explained what I needed, then he waited for me to get back with the signed documents, and then it took 30 seconds max to re-scan everything into a PDF. I've done this same thing at FedEx offices with printing services, and I must say it was a million times easier/more efficient than anything I've experienced in the past. What I like about this place is how raw it is. Old computers, paper and junk everywhere, random flyers on the walls. It's a garage! How clever. It's pretty simple, you walk up to the machine, select a certain amount of time to spend on the computer, and then do your thing. This place should not be confused with somewhere to update your facebook status or post a photo of your favorite pair of shoes on tumblr...this is a place to get things done. I would like to comment on the exceptional attentiveness of the semi-nerdy but attractive young fellow working that day. It was my first time there, so instead of humiliating myself in front of all the judgemental Williamsburg residents(although I managed to do that later) on the computers, I just asked him what to do. He told me, nicely. I put $5 in, worked on some resumes, and had clearly underestimated how much time I would be there, so had to get up and put another $5 in the machine. It wouldn't take the bill, and after 6.3 minutes(maybe less) of frustration and a few cuss words whispered under my breath, I turned around to gather my resumes and leave. The employee asked "Miss, was there something wrong?", I replied in a semi-bitchy and impatient manner, "Well, it wouldn't take my $5, so..." "Well I could help you if you want...sometimes the machines are finicky". I was rescued by my own impatience and stubbornness!! While only managing to feel somewhat uncool, I swallowed my pride and let somebody help me. I will definitely be printing my resumes here and the rough draft(s) for my book. Hooray! read more

This place is MAJORLY in need of an equipment upgrade. Fact is, they've cornered the market (no other places like it around) and they have us all by the bobos. Luckily the staff is understanding and sympathetic (I don't think they love having to deal with old-ass, half-functioning machines, either) and if you tell them, "I just used up my 6 minutes waiting for this thing to open a file," they'll help you out. I happen to know (OK, I was eavesdropping) the employees don't get paid much at all. They certainly aren't compensated for all of the "I don't know how to use Microsoft Word, can you just do this for me" bratty people I've seen them deal with. Since I tip the dudes at Verb Cafe $1 just for pouring my coffee, I figure the least I could do is tip these guys for computer help, which, let's be honest, takes a lot more knowledge and skill than pouring coffee. And, pricey? $1 to get on a computer, 20 cents for black & white prints... So, what, you've spent MAYBE $2.40 and you want to complain about the price? Get real. In my opinion, the only thing to complain about is the crappy, old, slow computers. FYI they repainted within the last year and it's a lot more pleasant! Still has that craptacular, pre-hipster-invasion homey vibe, though. Guess that's why it's the Internet GARAGE and not the Internet Lounge & Tea Room or whatever crap. Internet Garage is reliable with lead times, has great prices and they are very friendly regular folk. I have had business cards and envelopes printed very affordably and quickly. Definitely recommend Internet Garage in Williamsburg for all type of printing projects! Perfectly adequate - while 6 minutes for $1 seems a bit steep it certainly isn't prohibitive, and their pricing for copies/fax/etc. are in line with other local businesses. It's a nice place, but they play absolutely dreadful 80s metal/statium rock/hard rock very loud. I asked the guy to turn it down, he shrugged, turned it down only slightly. It drove me absolutely nuts, I wouldn't recommend going here for extended internet sessions unless you come with ear plugs. read more

the workers are snarky, the hours and internet are sort of unreliable and outdated, and there are often crazies lurking around. gotta love this place. (well...I do at least.) the reason is that its kind of a quirky hidden gem of a place in an area that has become painfully hip and unbearable. all in all its there when you need it and it gets the job done, with people who are ready to help and totally affordable rates. i went to the inter-nerd spot today because i don't have a printer and actually needed to get ish done. it was a great "one stop shop" for inter-nerd use, printing and faxing. a little pricy i guess(?)--12 page fax for $5...but whatever, i got the job done. service was snobby at first, but dude warmed up to me and my many questions when he realized i wasn't going away till i got everything i needed! read more

I could give a 4 stars because What I can see here is that some customers want a FREE service. No business coould survive with a free service: paper, ink, internet connection, computer maintenance, phone line, and even more important TIME. We need time of somebody to administer a business, to attedn customers, to send a fax. Even to send a fax we may take 5 minutes per page because is an important document and 20 cents per page is really cheap. Propbably if the business would rise prices could give a better service to customers. My advice is: Customers pay more, and if not, give a tip, and you can obtain what you deserve. read more

I went into Internet Garage today to print a poster for the marathon. It was a great deal for a 11x17 cardstock print, and the person who was there even offered me some cardboard so the poster would be sturdier. It's helpful to have a place like this nearby since I only have to print something a few times a year, and it's much more convenient than buying a printer. Thank you! read more

I came across Internet Garage when I was searching for a printing company on Google that offered competitive prices and, of course, did a good job. Moishe is great at getting jobs done efficiently, and was very patient working with my company through countless back and forths/alterations that needed to be made. So far we have worked with Internet Garage twice and they did a beautiful job printing out a series of 48 x 60 posters that we needed for a few events in LA. WOMEN BEWARE: I wish I had read all the reviews before coming here. I tried to give (Serge?) the benefit of the doubt by laughing at his jokes, being as polite as possible and reading his intentions as an attempt to be friendly and cordial, but from the moment I stepped in until the moment I left I felt UNCOMFORTABLE - to the point where I had my hand on my phone, texting my husband to "hurry up". Not only did he talk, nonstop, in my face, making "jokes" and comments that made me feel weird, he also didn't take a single one of my cues to slow down and be professional, and every time I tried to ask a question about the actual service (I was having some things scanned) he either rushed past it or completely cut me off, talking over the top of me and changing the subject. This happened at least 5 times until I gave up and simply let him finish so I could leave. As a result, I didn't even get the things scanned the way I wanted to. Yes, this place is cheap, but I felt uncomfortable from beginning to end and I will certainly never go back. As you can see, I'm not the only one who had this experience (scroll down) and it makes me mad that I went through it and didn't even receive the service I came in for, in the end. Don't waste your time! It saddens me to have to write this review but if I can save other women from the same experience then it will be worth it. :( read more
