When I needed a dresser for my bedroom, I just ordered it from Wood You figuring I would get the same. Unknown to me, my dresser was from a different manufacturer. I ordered the dresser, had Wood You finish it for me. When it was delivered, I was severely disappointed. The bottom of the dresser is not completely enclosed and the center between the drawers is also not one piece. There were missing knot holes, loose knot holes and rough knot holes in the drawers. The interior of the drawers were very rough, enough so that delicate items would be snagged. The veneer finish on the bottom of one drawer was pealing. The scant pieces that were on the bottom of the dresser were not square or level. When I brought this up to Wood You, they were happy to refinish and smooth the interior of the drawers for me for no charge. This is the only reason I am giving them four stars. Pay attention to the manufacturer, do not buy the Adams 61" 6 drawer dresser from Fighting Irish. I paid over $500 for the dresser and paid Wood You to finish it for me. I wouldn't give you $100 for the dresser. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will. If I was Wood You, I would not include this manufacturer in my line up.

First up is a fancy bench cover for the radiator, which is going to have two legs on either end, which I bought from Osborne. There's a few places one can buy furniture legs from online, but Osborne seemed above the rest in terms of variety and ability to search. Not only was I able to sort by style, but also wood type (had to have red oak to match the rest of the wood in the house!), and even the height range I wanted the leg to be. They also offer various cuts depending on how you intend to use the leg, so I opted for them to cut a quarter of the leg out so I could use it on an existing corner. All in all, I was impressed with not only the ease of ordering, but how quick my order arrived (just a few days later, and I didn't even order expedited shipping), and the professionalism of the company. Rarely if ever can I say I have been called after an online order by a company to ensure that my order arrived safe and I was satisfied. Now let's just hope my first woodworking project turns out well!

We've been using Osborne wood slides (which they don't make themselves) for years and high shipping has always been a problem that they can't seem to correct. Order # 728387 was (1) 48" table slide and (2) 26" slides. Instead of taping them altogether (like they've done in the past) and charging us about $75 for shipping, they shipped them separately and charged us $157 for a $400 order! A phone call and 2 emails got us the same answer: "That's the way the computer calculates it" and "(it's your fault) for not seeing that the shipping charges were going to be high." Very dismissive and rude! BTW - We found the same wood slides at another store for less, so we're going to change to them on August 15th if this doesn't get resolved.

I needed to replace the rubber…read moreweather stripping on my vinyl windows before winter got here and Window Hardware Direct was the only place I could find the uniquue weather stripping that was a perfect match for the OEM. Of course while I had one of the windows out to replace the weather stripping I managed to break off one of the tilting sash locks. Back to Window Hardware Direct again and after taking a couple measurements and looking at my locks and the photos on the website, I once again found what I needed. In both cases, I had my parts on my porch in around 72 hours. Great service. Now I'm set for the up coming winter.

They sent the wrong items. That can happen. But I was desperate for the parts and had to pay for the correct parts to be shipped to me. They gave me a returning merchandise authorization, but with no shipping label. It would have cost me more to return it than the cost of the items. I was given no compensation for a screwup that was not mine. The price is not a good price if you're paying more than double due to shipping issues. A $22 purchase ultimately cost me $54. It would cost me another $10 to ship back to them to only get $20 in return. So I cut my losses; thanks a lot Trinity.
