Both of our showers upstairs had no hot water in our rental unit. Chris came out and diagnosed the problem and then gave me a call afterwards to let me know what it was, how much it was going to cost and said he will come out when the part comes in. He worked with our tenants to set up an appt. I hired Repipe Specialists to replace all my old pipes..they contracted it out to Ace Plumbing - -…read moreand they were AWFUL. #1 - - it took 1 mo to finish the job...are you ready to go without a shower for 1 mo? #2 -- FAILED TO HOOK UP OR TURN ON MULTIPLE WATER PIPES. It cost me $1000 to find out that my washing machine wasn't broken but that it just hadn't been hooked up to the hot water - WHO DOES THAT?!?!?! They also failed to turn on the water pipe running to my fridge and when I got someone to crawl under my house to turned it on it leaked like Niagara Falls and I had to have that fixed as well. #3 - Attempts to contact Ace Plumbing resulted in either an "it's not our fault" and the manager/owner just never bothered to respond to my calls. Save yourself the headache - find a company that will do the work and make sure you check them out to ensure they are a reliable company. I did not know that Repipe Specialist was going to contract this out so I never was able to check into Ace Plumbings history. I am a reasonable person, and am not trying to get something for nothing, but I believe these guys should have reimbursed me for my bill on my "non-broken" washing machine. Also, I am only willing to wait so long for someone to "get back to me". If I can save just one person the nightmare I've had - then I've done a good deed. The technician was very professional . We had another company look at the problem earlier in the day & they said we needed a new furnace & ac unit as our motherboard was ruined . It would be $13,000 . We decided to get another opinion. The technician came in & right away notice the flame igniter was cracked . We told him about the motherboard issues he checked it & said it worked fine . He said he could get us the part later in the day but was able to light our furnace & get us heat . The technician came back a few hours later & fixed the part . It was only $ 288 installed . We were so happy ! I would highly recommend this company . Very knowledgeable & honest .
